In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
| 2 Se enojó Jehová en gran manera contra vuestros padres. | 2 Der HERR ist zornig gewesen über eure Väter. |

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
| 3 Diles, pues: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Volveos a mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y yo me volveré a vosotros, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos. | 3 Aber sprich zum Volk: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Kehrt euch zu mir, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, so will ich mich zu euch kehren, spricht der HERR Zebaoth. |

Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
| 4 No seáis como vuestros padres, a los cuales clamaron los primeros profetas, diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Volveos ahora de vuestros malos caminos y de vuestras malas obras; y no atendieron, ni me escucharon, dice Jehová. | 4 Seid nicht wie eure Väter, denen die früheren Propheten predigten und sprachen: "So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Kehrt um von euren bösen Wegen und von eurem bösen Tun!", aber sie gehorchten nicht und achteten nicht auf mich, spricht der HERR. |

Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
| 5 Vuestros padres, ¿dónde están? y los profetas, ¿han de vivir para siempre? | 5 Wo sind nun eure Väter? Und die Propheten, leben sie noch? |

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
| 6 Pero mis palabras y mis ordenanzas que mandé a mis siervos los profetas, ¿no alcanzaron a vuestros padres? Por eso volvieron ellos y dijeron: Como Jehová de los ejércitos pensó tratarnos conforme a nuestros caminos, y conforme a nuestras obras, así lo hizo con nosotros. | 6 Aber haben nicht meine Worte und meine Gebote, die ich durch meine Knechte, die Propheten, gab, eure Väter getroffen, daß sie haben umkehren müssen und sagen: "Wie der HERR Zebaoth vorhatte, uns zu tun nach unsern Wegen und Taten, so hat er uns auch getan"? |

Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
| 7 A los veinticuatro días del mes undécimo, que es el mes de Sebat, en el año segundo de Darío, vino palabra de Jehová al profeta Zacarías hijo de Berequías, hijo de Iddo, | 7 Am vierundzwanzigsten Tage des elften Monats - das ist der Monat Schebat - im zweiten Jahr des Königs Darius geschah das Wort des HERRN zu Sacharja, dem Sohn Berechjas, des Sohnes Iddos, dem Propheten: |

I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.
| 8 Vi de noche, y he aquí un varón que cabalgaba sobre un caballo alazán, el cual estaba entre los mirtos que había en la hondura; y detrás de él había caballos alazanes, overos y blancos. | 8 Ich sah in dieser Nacht, und siehe, ein Mann saß auf einem roten Pferde, und er hielt zwischen den Myrten im Talgrund, und hinter ihm waren rote, braune und weiße Pferde. |

Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.
| 9 Entonces dije: ¿Qué son éstos, señor mío? Y me dijo el ángel que hablaba conmigo: Yo te enseñaré lo que son éstos. | 9 Und ich sprach: Mein Herr, wer sind diese? Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, sprach zu mir: Ich will dir zeigen, wer diese sind. |

And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
| 10 Y aquel varón que estaba entre los mirtos respondió y dijo: Estos son los que Jehová ha enviado a recorrer la tierra. | 10 Und der Mann, der zwischen den Myrten hielt, antwortete: Diese sind's, die der HERR ausgesandt hat, die Lande zu durchziehen. |

And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
| 11 Y ellos hablaron a aquel ángel de Jehová que estaba entre los mirtos, y dijeron: Hemos recorrido la tierra, y he aquí toda la tierra está reposada y quieta. | 11 Sie aber antworteten dem Engel des HERRN, der zwischen den Myrten hielt, und sprachen: Wir haben die Lande durchzogen, und siehe, alle Lande liegen ruhig und still. |

Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
| 12 Respondió el ángel de Jehová y dijo: Oh Jehová de los ejércitos, ¿hasta cuándo no tendrás piedad de Jerusalén, y de las ciudades de Judá, con las cuales has estado airado por espacio de setenta años? | 12 Da hob der Engel des HERRN an und sprach: HERR Zebaoth, wie lange noch willst du dich nicht erbarmen über Jerusalem und über die Städte Judas, über die du zornig bist schon siebzig Jahre? |

And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.
| 13 Y Jehová respondió buenas palabras, palabras consoladoras, al ángel que hablaba conmigo. | 13 Und der HERR antwortete dem Engel, der mit mir redete, freundliche Worte und tröstliche Worte. |

So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
| 14 Y me dijo el ángel que hablaba conmigo: Clama diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Celé con gran celo a Jerusalén y a Sion. | 14 Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, sprach zu mir: Predige und sprich: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Ich eifere für Jerusalem und Zion mit großem Eifer |

And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
| 15 Y estoy muy airado contra las naciones que están reposadas; porque cuando yo estaba enojado un poco, ellos agravaron el mal. | 15 und bin sehr zornig über die stolzen Völker; denn ich war nur ein wenig zornig, sie aber halfen zum Verderben. |

Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
| 16 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Yo me he vuelto a Jerusalén con misericordia; en ella será edificada mi casa, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y la plomada será tendida sobre Jerusalén. | 16 Darum spricht der HERR: Ich will mich wieder Jerusalem zuwenden mit Barmherzigkeit, und mein Haus soll darin wieder aufgebaut werden, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, und die Meßschnur soll über Jerusalem gespannt werden. |

Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
| 17 Clama aún, diciendo: Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Aún rebosarán mis ciudades con la abundancia del bien, y aún consolará Jehová a Sion, y escogerá todavía a Jerusalén. | 17 Und weiter predige und sprich: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Es sollen meine Städte wieder Überfluß haben an Gutem, und der HERR wird Zion wieder trösten und wird Jerusalem wieder erwählen. |

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
| 18 Después alcé mis ojos y miré, y he aquí cuatro cuernos. | |

And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
| 19 Y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿Qué son éstos? Y me respondió: Estos son los cuernos que dispersaron a Judá, a Israel y a Jerusalén. | |

And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.
| 20 Me mostró luego Jehová cuatro carpinteros. | |

Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it. | 21 Y yo dije: ¿Qué vienen éstos a hacer? Y me respondió, diciendo: Aquéllos son los cuernos que dispersaron a Judá, tanto que ninguno alzó su cabeza; mas éstos han venido para hacerlos temblar, para derribar los cuernos de las naciones que alzaron el cuerno sobre la tierra de Judá para dispersarla. | |
