And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
| 1 El quinto ángel tocó la trompeta, y vi una estrella que cayó del cielo a la tierra; y se le dio la llave del pozo del abismo. | 1 Und der fünfte Engel blies seine Posaune; und ich sah einen Stern, gefallen vom Himmel auf die Erde; und ihm wurde der Schlüssel zum Brunnen des Abgrunds gegeben. |

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
| 2 Y abrió el pozo del abismo, y subió humo del pozo como humo de un gran horno; y se oscureció el sol y el aire por el humo del pozo. | 2 Und er tat den Brunnen des Abgrunds auf, und es stieg auf ein Rauch aus dem Brunnen wie der Rauch eines großen Ofens, und es wurden verfinstert die Sonne und die Luft von dem Rauch des Brunnens. |

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
| 3 Y del humo salieron langostas sobre la tierra; y se les dio poder, como tienen poder los escorpiones de la tierra. | 3 Und aus dem Rauch kamen Heuschrecken auf die Erde, und ihnen wurde Macht gegeben, wie die Skorpione auf Erden Macht haben. |

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
| 4 Y se les mandó que no dañasen a la hierba de la tierra, ni a cosa verde alguna, ni a ningún árbol, sino solamente a los hombres que no tuviesen el sello de Dios en sus frentes. | 4 Und es wurde ihnen gesagt, sie sollten nicht Schaden tun dem Gras auf Erden noch allem Grünen noch irgendeinem Baum, sondern allein den Menschen, die nicht das Siegel Gottes haben an ihren Stirnen. |

And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
| 5 Y les fue dado, no que los matasen, sino que los atormentasen cinco meses; y su tormento era como tormento de escorpión cuando hiere al hombre. | 5 Und ihnen wurde Macht gegeben, nicht daß sie sie töteten, sondern sie quälten fünf Monate lang; und ihre Qual war wie eine Qual von einem Skorpion, wenn er einen Menschen sticht. |

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
| 6 Y en aquellos días los hombres buscarán la muerte, pero no la hallarán; y ansiarán morir, pero la muerte huirá de ellos. | 6 Und in jenen Tagen werden die Menschen den Tod suchen und nicht finden, sie werden begehren zu sterben, und der Tod wird von ihnen fliehen. |

And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
| 7 El aspecto de las langostas era semejante a caballos preparados para la guerra; en las cabezas tenían como coronas de oro; sus caras eran como caras humanas; | 7 Und die Heuschrecken sahen aus wie Rosse, die zum Krieg gerüstet sind, und auf ihren Köpfen war etwas wie goldene Kronen, und ihr Antlitz glich der Menschen Antlitz; |

And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
| 11 Y tienen por rey sobre ellos al ángel del abismo, cuyo nombre en hebreo es Abadón, y en griego, Apolión. | 11 sie hatten über sich einen König, den Engel des Abgrunds; sein Name heißt auf hebräisch Abaddon, und auf griechisch hat er den Namen Apollyon. |

One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
| 13 El sexto ángel tocó la trompeta, y oí una voz de entre los cuatro cuernos del altar de oro que estaba delante de Dios, | 13 Und der sechste Engel blies seine Posaune; und ich hörte eine Stimme aus den vier Ecken des goldenen Altars vor Gott; |

Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
| 14 diciendo al sexto ángel que tenía la trompeta: Desata a los cuatro ángeles que están atados junto al gran río Eufrates. | 14 die sprach zu dem sechsten Engel, der die Posaune hatte: Laß los die vier Engel, die gebunden sind an dem großen Strom Euphrat. |

And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
| 15 Y fueron desatados los cuatro ángeles que estaban preparados para la hora, día, mes y año, a fin de matar a la tercera parte de los hombres. | 15 Und es wurden losgelassen die vier Engel, die bereit waren für die Stunde und den Tag und den Monat und das Jahr, zu töten den dritten Teil der Menschen. |

And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
| 17 Así vi en visión los caballos y a sus jinetes, los cuales tenían corazas de fuego, de zafiro y de azufre. Y las cabezas de los caballos eran como cabezas de leones; y de su boca salían fuego, humo y azufre. | 17 Und so sah ich in dieser Erscheinung die Rosse und die darauf saßen: Sie hatten feuerrote und blaue und schwefelgelbe Panzer, und die Häupter der Rosse waren wie die Häupter der Löwen, und aus ihren Mäulern kam Feuer und Rauch und Schwefel. |

By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
| 18 Por estas tres plagas fue muerta la tercera parte de los hombres; por el fuego, el humo y el azufre que salían de su boca. | 18 Von diesen drei Plagen wurde getötet der dritte Teil der Menschen, von dem Feuer und Rauch und Schwefel, der aus ihren Mäulern kam. |

For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
| 19 Pues el poder de los caballos estaba en su boca y en sus colas; porque sus colas, semejantes a serpientes, tenían cabezas, y con ellas dañaban. | 19 Denn die Kraft der Rosse war in ihrem Maul und in ihren Schwänzen; denn ihre Schwänze waren den Schlangen gleich und hatten Häupter, und mit denen taten sie Schaden. |

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
| 20 Y los otros hombres que no fueron muertos con estas plagas, ni aun así se arrepintieron de las obras de sus manos, ni dejaron de adorar a los demonios, y a las imágenes de oro, de plata, de bronce, de piedra y de madera, las cuales no pueden ver, ni oír, ni andar; | 20 Und die übrigen Leute, die nicht getötet wurden von diesen Plagen, bekehrten sich doch nicht von den Werken ihrer Hände, daß sie nicht mehr anbeteten die bösen Geister und die goldenen, silbernen, ehernen, steinernen und hölzernen Götzen, die weder sehen noch hören noch gehen können, |

Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. | 21 y no se arrepintieron de sus homicidios, ni de sus hechicerías, ni de su fornicación, ni de sus hurtos. | 21 und sie bekehrten sich auch nicht von ihren Morden, ihrer Zauberei, ihrer Unzucht und ihrer Dieberei. |
