To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.

I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

Porque has visto mi aflicción;
Has conocido mi alma en las angustias. | 7 Ich hasse, die sich halten an nichtige Götzen; ich aber hoffe auf den HERRN. |

And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
| 9 Ten misericordia de mí, oh Jehová, porque estoy en angustia;
Se han consumido de tristeza mis ojos, mi alma también y mi cuerpo. | 9 und übergibst mich nicht in die Hände des Feindes; du stellst meine Füße auf weiten Raum. |

For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
| 10 Porque mi vida se va gastando de dolor, y mis años de suspirar;
Se agotan mis fuerzas a causa de mi iniquidad, y mis huesos se han consumido. | 10 HERR, sei mir gnädig, denn mir ist angst! Mein Auge ist trübe geworden vor Gram, matt meine Seele und mein Leib. |

I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.

Digo: Tú eres mi Dios. | 14 Denn ich höre, wie viele über mich lästern: Schrecken ist um und um! Sie halten Rat miteinander über mich und trachten danach, mir das Leben zu nehmen. |

My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.

Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

Sean avergonzados los impíos, estén mudos en el Seol. | 17 Laß leuchten dein Antlitz über deinem Knecht; hilf mir durch deine Güte! |

Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Que hablan contra el justo cosas duras
Con soberbia y menosprecio. | 18 HERR, laß mich nicht zuschanden werden; denn ich rufe dich an. Die Gottlosen sollen zuschanden werden und hinabfahren zu den Toten und schweigen. |

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
| 19 ¡Cuán grande es tu bondad, que has guardado para los que te temen,
Que has mostrado a los que esperan en ti, delante de los hijos de los hombres! | 19 Verstummen sollen die Lügenmäuler, die da reden wider den Gerechten frech, stolz und höhnisch. |

Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
| 20 En lo secreto de tu presencia los esconderás de la conspiración del hombre;
Los pondrás en un tabernáculo a cubierto de contención de lenguas. | 20 Wie groß ist deine Güte, HERR, die du bewahrt hast denen, die dich fürchten, und erweisest vor den Leuten denen, die auf dich trauen! |

Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
| 21 Bendito sea Jehová,
Porque ha hecho maravillosa su misericordia para conmigo en ciudad fortificada. | 21 Du birgst sie in deinem Schutz vor den Rotten der Leute, du deckst sie in der Hütte vor den zänkischen Zungen. |

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
| 22 Decía yo en mi premura: Cortado soy de delante de tus ojos;
Pero tú oíste la voz de mis ruegos cuando a ti clamaba. | 22 Gelobt sei der HERR; denn er hat seine wunderbare Güte mir erwiesen in einer festen Stadt. |

O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
| 23 Amad a Jehová, todos vosotros sus santos;
A los fieles guarda Jehová,
Y paga abundantemente al que procede con soberbia. | 23 Ich sprach wohl in meinem Zagen: Ich bin von deinen Augen verstoßen. Doch du hörtest die Stimme meines Flehens, als ich zu dir schrie. |

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. | 24 Esforzaos todos vosotros los que esperáis en Jehová,
Y tome aliento vuestro corazón.
