And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
| 2 Y sucedió que le trajeron un paralítico, tendido sobre una cama; y al ver Jesús la fe de ellos, dijo al paralítico: Ten ánimo, hijo; tus pecados te son perdonados. | 2 Und siehe, da brachten sie zu ihm einen Gelähmten, der lag auf einem Bett. Als nun Jesus ihren Glauben sah, sprach er zu dem Gelähmten: Sei getrost, mein Sohn, deine Sünden sind dir vergeben. |

And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
| 3 Entonces algunos de los escribas decían dentro de sí: Este blasfema. | 3 Und siehe, einige unter den Schriftgelehrten sprachen bei sich selbst: Dieser lästert Gott. |

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

And he arose, and departed to his house.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
| 9 Pasando Jesús de allí, vio a un hombre llamado Mateo, que estaba sentado al banco de los tributos públicos, y le dijo: Sígueme. And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
| 12 Al oír esto Jesús, les dijo: Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los enfermos. | 12 Als das Jesus hörte, sprach er: Die Starken bedürfen des Arztes nicht, sondern die Kranken. |

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
| 14 Entonces vinieron a él los discípulos de Juan, diciendo: ¿Por qué nosotros y los fariseos ayunamos muchas veces, y tus discípulos no ayunan? | 14 Da kamen die Jünger des Johannes zu ihm und sprachen: Warum fasten wir und die Pharisäer so viel, und deine Jünger fasten nicht? |

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
| 15 Jesús les dijo: ¿Acaso pueden los que están de bodas tener luto entre tanto que el esposo está con ellos? Pero vendrán días cuando el esposo les será quitado, y entonces ayunarán. | 15 Jesus antwortete ihnen: Wie können die Hochzeitsgäste Leid tragen, solange der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist? Es wird aber die Zeit kommen, daß der Bräutigam von ihnen genommen wird; dann werden sie fasten. |

No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
| 16 Nadie pone remiendo de paño nuevo en vestido viejo; porque tal remiendo tira del vestido, y se hace peor la rotura. | 16 Niemand flickt ein altes Kleid mit einem Lappen von neuem Tuch; denn der Lappen reißt doch wieder vom Kleid ab, und der Riß wird ärger. |

Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
| 17 Ni echan vino nuevo en odres viejos; de otra manera los odres se rompen, y el vino se derrama, y los odres se pierden; pero echan el vino nuevo en odres nuevos, y lo uno y lo otro se conservan juntamente.
La hija de Jairo, | 17 Man füllt auch nicht neuen Wein in alte Schläuche; sonst zerreißen die Schläuche, und der Wein wird verschüttet, und die Schläuche verderben. Sondern man füllt neuen Wein in neue Schläuche, so bleiben beide miteinander erhalten. |

While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
| 18 Mientras él les decía estas cosas, vino un hombre principal y se postró ante él, diciendo: Mi hija acaba de morir; mas ven y pon tu mano sobre ella, y vivirá. | 18 Als er dies mit ihnen redete, siehe, da kam einer von den Vorstehern der Gemeinde, fiel vor ihm nieder und sprach: Meine Tochter ist eben gestorben, aber komm und lege deine Hand auf sie, so wird sie lebendig. |

And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
| 19 Y se levantó Jesús, y le siguió con sus discípulos. | 19 Und Jesus stand auf und folgte ihm mit seinen Jüngern. |

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
| 20 Y he aquí una mujer enferma de flujo de sangre desde hacía doce años, se le acercó por detrás y tocó el borde de su manto; | 20 Und siehe, eine Frau, die seit zwölf Jahren den Blutfluß hatte, trat von hinten an ihn heran und berührte den Saum seines Gewandes. |

For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
| 21 porque decía dentro de sí: Si tocare solamente su manto, seré salva. | 21 Denn sie sprach bei sich selbst: Könnte ich nur sein Gewand berühren, so würde ich gesund. |

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
| 22 Pero Jesús, volviéndose y mirándola, dijo: Ten ánimo, hija; tu fe te ha salvado. Y la mujer fue salva desde aquella hora. | 22 Da wandte sich Jesus um und sah sie und sprach: Sei getrost, meine Tochter, dein Glaube hat dir geholfen. Und die Frau wurde gesund zu derselben Stunde. |

And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
| 23 Al entrar Jesús en la casa del principal, viendo a los que tocaban flautas, y la gente que hacía alboroto, | 23 Und als er in das Haus des Vorstehers kam und sah die Flötenspieler und das Getümmel des Volkes, |

He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
| 24 les dijo: Apartaos, porque la niña no está muerta, sino duerme. Y se burlaban de él. | 24 sprach er: Geht hinaus! denn das Mädchen ist nicht tot, sondern es schläft. Und sie verlachten ihn. |

But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
| 25 Pero cuando la gente había sido echada fuera, entró, y tomó de la mano a la niña, y ella se levantó. | 25 Als aber das Volk hinausgetrieben war, ging er hinein und ergriff sie bei der Hand. Da stand das Mädchen auf. |

And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
| 26 Y se difundió la fama de esto por toda aquella tierra. | 26 Und diese Kunde erscholl durch dieses ganze Land. |

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
| 27 Pasando Jesús de allí, le siguieron dos ciegos, dando voces y diciendo: ¡Ten misericordia de nosotros, Hijo de David! | 27 Und als Jesus von dort weiterging, folgten ihm zwei Blinde, die schrien: Ach, du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich unser!a |

And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
| 28 Y llegado a la casa, vinieron a él los ciegos; y Jesús les dijo: ¿Creéis que puedo hacer esto? Ellos dijeron: Sí, Señor. | 28 Und als er heimkam, traten die Blinden zu ihm. Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Glaubt ihr, daß ich das tun kann? Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Ja, Herr. |

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
| 29 Entonces les tocó los ojos, diciendo: Conforme a vuestra fe os sea hecho. | 29 Da berührte er ihre Augen und sprach: Euch geschehe nach eurem Glauben! |

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
| 30 Y los ojos de ellos fueron abiertos. Y Jesús les encargó rigurosamente, diciendo: Mirad que nadie lo sepa. | 30 Und ihre Augen wurden geöffnet. Und Jesus drohte ihnen und sprach: Seht zu, daß es niemand erfahre! |

But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
| 31 Pero salidos ellos, divulgaron la fama de él por toda aquella tierra. | 31 Aber sie gingen hinaus und verbreiteten die Kunde von ihm in diesem ganzen Lande. |

As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
| 32 Mientras salían ellos, he aquí, le trajeron un mudo, endemoniado. | 32 Als diese nun hinausgegangen waren, siehe, da brachten sie zu ihm einen Menschen, der war stumm und besessen. |

And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
| 33 Y echado fuera el demonio, el mudo habló; y la gente se maravillaba, y decía: Nunca se ha visto cosa semejante en Israel. | 33 Als aber der böse Geist ausgetrieben war, redete der Stumme. Und das Volk verwunderte sich und sprach: So etwas ist noch nie in Israel gesehen worden. |

But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
| 34 Pero los fariseos decían: Por el príncipe de los demonios echa fuera los demonios. | 34 Aber die Pharisäer sprachen: Er treibt die bösen Geister aus durch ihren Obersten. |

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
| 35 Recorría Jesús todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, y predicando el evangelio del reino, y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia en el pueblo. | 35 Und Jesus ging ringsum in alle Städte und Dörfer, lehrte in ihren Synagogen und predigte das Evangelium von dem Reich und heilte alle Krankheiten und alle Gebrechen. |

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
| 36 Y al ver las multitudes, tuvo compasión de ellas; porque estaban desamparadas y dispersas como ovejas que no tienen pastor. | 36 Und als er das Volk sah, jammerte es ihn; denn sie waren verschmachtet und zerstreut wie die Schafe, die keinen Hirten haben. |

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
| 37 Entonces dijo a sus discípulos: A la verdad la mies es mucha, mas los obreros pocos. | 37 Da sprach er zu seinen Jüngern: Die Ernte ist groß, aber wenige sind der Arbeiter. |

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. | 38 Rogad, pues, al Señor de la mies, que envíe obreros a su mies. | 38 Darum bittet den Herrn der Ernte, daß er Arbeiter in seine Ernte sende. |
