When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
| 1 Cuando descendió Jesús del monte, le seguía mucha gente. | 1 Als er aber vom Berge herabging, folgte ihm eine große Menge. |

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
| 2 Y he aquí vino un leproso y se postró ante él, diciendo: Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme. | 2 Und siehe, ein Aussätziger kam heran und fiel vor ihm nieder und sprach: Herr, wenn du willst, kannst du mich reinigen. |

And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
| 3 Jesús extendió la mano y le tocó, diciendo: Quiero; sé limpio. Y al instante su lepra desapareció. | 3 Und Jesus streckte die Hand aus, rührte ihn an und sprach: Ich will's tun; sei rein! Und sogleich wurde er von seinem Aussatz rein. |

And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
| 4 Entonces Jesús le dijo: Mira, no lo digas a nadie; sino ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y presenta la ofrenda que ordenó Moisés, para testimonio a ellos. | 4 Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Sieh zu, sage es niemandem, sondern geh hin und zeige dich dem Priester und opfere die Gabe, die Mose befohlen hat, ihnen zum Zeugnis. |

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
| 5 Entrando Jesús en Capernaum, vino a él un centurión, rogándole, | 5 Als aber Jesus nach Kapernaum hineinging, trat ein Hauptmann zu ihm; der bat ihn |

And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
| 6 y diciendo: Señor, mi criado está postrado en casa, paralítico, gravemente atormentado. | 6 und sprach: Herr, mein Knecht liegt zu Hause und ist gelähmt und leidet große Qualen. |

And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
| 7 Y Jesús le dijo: Yo iré y le sanaré. | 7 Jesus sprach zu ihm: Ich will kommen und ihn gesund machen. |

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
| 8 Respondió el centurión y dijo: Señor, no soy digno de que entres bajo mi techo; solamente dí la palabra, y mi criado sanará. | 8 Der Hauptmann antwortete und sprach: Herr, ich bin nicht wert, daß du unter mein Dach gehst, sondern sprich nur ein Wort, so wird mein Knecht gesund. |

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
| 9 Porque también yo soy hombre bajo autoridad, y tengo bajo mis órdenes soldados; y digo a éste: Ve, y va; y al otro: Ven, y viene; y a mi siervo: Haz esto, y lo hace. | 9 Denn auch ich bin ein Mensch, der Obrigkeit untertan, und habe Soldaten unter mir; und wenn ich zu einem sage: Geh hin!, so geht er; und zu einem andern: Komm her!, so kommt er; und zu meinem Knecht: Tu das!, so tut er's. |

When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
| 10 Al oírlo Jesús, se maravilló, y dijo a los que le seguían: De cierto os digo, que ni aun en Israel he hallado tanta fe. | 10 Als das Jesus hörte, wunderte er sich und sprach zu denen, die ihm nachfolgten: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Solchen Glauben habe ich in Israel bei keinem gefunden!a |

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
| 11 Y os digo que vendrán muchos del oriente y del occidente, y se sentarán con Abraham e Isaac y Jacob en el reino de los cielos; | 11 Aber ich sage euch: Viele werden kommen von Osten und von Westen und mit Abraham und Isaak und Jakob im Himmelreich zu Tisch sitzen; |

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
| 12 mas los hijos del reino serán echados a las tinieblas de afuera; allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes. | 12 aber die Kinder des Reichs werden hinausgestoßen in die Finsternis; da wird sein Heulen und Zähneklappern. |

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
| 13 Entonces Jesús dijo al centurión: Ve, y como creíste, te sea hecho. Y su criado fue sanado en aquella misma hora. | 13 Und Jesus sprach zu dem Hauptmann: Geh hin; dir geschehe, wie du geglaubt hast. Und sein Knecht wurde gesund zu derselben Stunde. |

And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.
| 14 Vino Jesús a casa de Pedro, y vio a la suegra de éste postrada en cama, con fiebre. | 14 Und Jesus kam in das Haus des Petrus und sah, daß dessen Schwiegermutter zu Bett lag und hatte das Fieber. |

And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
| 15 Y tocó su mano, y la fiebre la dejó; y ella se levantó, y les servía. | 15 Da ergriff er ihre Hand, und das Fieber verließ sie. Und sie stand auf und diente ihm. |

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
| 16 Y cuando llegó la noche, trajeron a él muchos endemoniados; y con la palabra echó fuera a los demonios, y sanó a todos los enfermos; | 16 Am Abend aber brachten sie viele Besessene zu ihm; und er trieb die Geister aus durch sein Wort und machte alle Kranken gesund, |

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
| 17 para que se cumpliese lo dicho por el profeta Isaías, cuando dijo: El mismo tomó nuestras enfermedades, y llevó nuestras dolencias. | 17 damit erfüllt würde, was gesagt ist durch den Propheten Jesaja, der da spricht (Jesaja 53,4): "Er hat unsre Schwachheit auf sich genommen, und unsre Krankheit hat er getragen." |

Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
| 18 Viéndose Jesús rodeado de mucha gente, mandó pasar al otro lado. | 18 Als aber Jesus die Menge um sich sah, befahl er, hinüber ans andre Ufer zu fahren. |

And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
| 19 Y vino un escriba y le dijo: Maestro, te seguiré adondequiera que vayas. | 19 Und es trat ein Schriftgelehrter herzu und sprach zu ihm: Meister, ich will dir folgen, wohin du gehst. |

And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
| 20 Jesús le dijo: Las zorras tienen guaridas, y las aves del cielo nidos; mas el Hijo del Hombre no tiene dónde recostar su cabeza. | 20 Jesus sagt zu ihm: Die Füchse haben Gruben, und die Vögel unter dem Himmel haben Nester; aber der Menschensohn hat nichts, wo er sein Haupt hinlege. |

And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
| 21 Otro de sus discípulos le dijo: Señor, permíteme que vaya primero y entierre a mi padre. | 21 Und ein anderer unter den Jüngern sprach zu ihm: Herr, erlaube mir, daß ich zuvor hingehe und meinen Vater begrabe. |

But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
| 22 Jesús le dijo: Sígueme; deja que los muertos entierren a sus muertos. | 22 Aber Jesus spricht zu ihm: Folge du mir, und laß die Toten ihre Toten begraben! |

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
| 23 Y entrando él en la barca, sus discípulos le siguieron. | 23 Und er stieg in das Boot, und seine Jünger folgten ihm. |

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
| 24 Y he aquí que se levantó en el mar una tempestad tan grande que las olas cubrían la barca; pero él dormía. | 24 Und siehe, da erhob sich ein gewaltiger Sturm auf dem See, so daß auch das Boot von Wellen zugedeckt wurde. Er aber schlief. |

And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
| 25 Y vinieron sus discípulos y le despertaron, diciendo: ¡Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos! | 25 Und sie traten zu ihm, weckten ihn auf und sprachen: Herr, hilf, wir kommen um! |

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
| 26 El les dijo: ¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe? Entonces, levantándose, reprendió a los vientos y al mar; y se hizo grande bonanza. | 26 Da sagt er zu ihnen: Ihr Kleingläubigen, warum seid ihr so furchtsam? Und stand auf und bedrohte den Wind und das Meer. Da wurde es ganz stille. |

But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
| 27 Y los hombres se maravillaron, diciendo: ¿Qué hombre es éste, que aun los vientos y el mar le obedecen? | 27 Die Menschen aber verwunderten sich und sprachen: Was ist das für ein Mann, daß ihm Wind und Meer gehorsam sind? |

And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
| 28 Cuando llegó a la otra orilla, a la tierra de los gadarenos, vinieron a su encuentro dos endemoniados que salían de los sepulcros, feroces en gran manera, tanto que nadie podía pasar por aquel camino. | 28 Und er kam ans andre Ufer in die Gegend der Gadarener. Da liefen ihm entgegen zwei Besessene; die kamen aus den Grabhöhlen und waren sehr gefährlich, so daß niemand diese Straße gehen konnte. |

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
| 29 Y clamaron diciendo: ¿Qué tienes con nosotros, Jesús, Hijo de Dios? ¿Has venido acá para atormentarnos antes de tiempo? | 29 Und siehe, sie schrien: Was willst du von uns, du Sohn Gottes? Bist du hergekommen, uns zu quälen, ehe es Zeit ist? |

And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
| 30 Estaba paciendo lejos de ellos un hato de muchos cerdos. | 30 Es war aber fern von ihnen eine große Herde Säue auf der Weide. |

So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
| 31 Y los demonios le rogaron diciendo: Si nos echas fuera, permítenos ir a aquel hato de cerdos. | 31 Da baten ihn die bösen Geister und sprachen: Willst du uns austreiben, so laß uns in die Herde Säue fahren. |

And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
| 32 El les dijo: Id. Y ellos salieron, y se fueron a aquel hato de cerdos; y he aquí, todo el hato de cerdos se precipitó en el mar por un despeñadero, y perecieron en las aguas. | 32 Und er sprach: Fahrt aus! Da fuhren sie aus und fuhren in die Säue. Und siehe, die ganze Herde stürmte den Abhang hinunter in den See, und sie ersoffen im Wasser. |

And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
| 33 Y los que los apacentaban huyeron, y viniendo a la ciudad, contaron todas las cosas, y lo que había pasado con los endemoniados. | 33 Und die Hirten flohen und gingen hin in die Stadt und berichteten das alles und wie es den Besessenen ergangen war. |

And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts. | 34 Y toda la ciudad salió al encuentro de Jesús; y cuando le vieron, le rogaron que se fuera de sus contornos. | 34 Und siehe, da ging die ganze Stadt hinaus Jesus entgegen. Und als sie ihn sahen, baten sie ihn, daß er ihr Gebiet verlasse. |
