And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
| 2 y se transfiguró delante de ellos, y resplandeció su rostro como el sol, y sus vestidos se hicieron blancos como la luz. | 2 Und er wurde verklärt vor ihnen, und sein Angesicht leuchtete wie die Sonne, und seine Kleider wurden weiß wie das Licht. |

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
| 5 Mientras él aún hablaba, una nube de luz los cubrió; y he aquí una voz desde la nube, que decía: Este es mi Hijo amado, en quien tengo complacencia; a él oíd. | 5 Als er noch so redete, siehe, da überschattete sie eine lichte Wolke. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
| 6 Al oír esto los discípulos, se postraron sobre sus rostros, y tuvieron gran temor. | 6 Als das die Jünger hörten, fielen sie auf ihr Angesicht und erschraken sehr. |

And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
| 7 Entonces Jesús se acercó y los tocó, y dijo: Levantaos, y no temáis. | 7 Jesus aber trat zu ihnen, rührte sie an und sprach: Steht auf und fürchtet euch nicht! |

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
| 8 Y alzando ellos los ojos, a nadie vieron sino a Jesús solo. | 8 Als sie aber ihre Augen aufhoben, sahen sie niemand als Jesus allein. |

And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
| 9 Cuando descendieron del monte, Jesús les mandó, diciendo: No digáis a nadie la visión, hasta que el Hijo del Hombre resucite de los muertos. | 9 Und als sie vom Berge hinabgingen, gebot ihnen Jesus und sprach: Ihr sollt von dieser Erscheinung niemandem sagen, bis der Menschensohn von den Toten auferstanden ist. |

And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
| 10 Entonces sus discípulos le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Por qué, pues, dicen los escribas que es necesario que Elías venga primero? | 10 Und seine Jünger fragten ihn und sprachen: Warum sagen denn die Schriftgelehrten, zuerst müsse Elia kommen? |

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
| 11 Respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: A la verdad, Elías viene primero, y restaurará todas las cosas. | 11 Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Elia soll freilich kommen und alles zurechtbringen. |

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
| 12 Mas os digo que Elías ya vino, y no le conocieron, sino que hicieron con él todo lo que quisieron; así también el Hijo del Hombre padecerá de ellos. | 12 Doch ich sage euch: Elia ist schon gekommen, aber sie haben ihn nicht erkannt, sondern haben mit ihm getan, was sie wollten. So wird auch der Menschensohn durch sie leiden müssen. |

Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
| 13 Entonces los discípulos comprendieron que les había hablado de Juan el Bautista. | 13 Da verstanden die Jünger, daß er von Johannes dem Täufer zu ihnen geredet hatte. |

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
| 14 Cuando llegaron al gentío, vino a él un hombre que se arrodilló delante de él, | 14 Und als sie zu dem Volk kamen, trat ein Mensch zu ihm, fiel ihm zu Füßen |

Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
| 15 Señor, ten misericordia de mi hijo, que es lunático, y padece muchísimo; porque muchas veces cae en el fuego, y muchas en el agua. | 15 und sprach: Herr, erbarme dich über meinen Sohn! denn er ist mondsüchtig und hat schwer zu leiden; er fällt oft ins Feuer und oft ins Wasser; |

And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
| 16 Y lo he traído a tus discípulos, pero no le han podido sanar. | 16 und ich habe ihn zu deinen Jüngern gebracht, und sie konnten ihm nicht helfen. |

Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
| 17 Respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¡Oh generación incrédula y perversa! ¿Hasta cuándo he de estar con vosotros? ¿Hasta cuándo os he de soportar? Traédmelo acá. | 17 Jesus aber antwortete und sprach: O du ungläubiges und verkehrtes Geschlecht, wie lange soll ich bei euch sein? Wie lange soll ich euch erdulden? Bringt ihn mir her! |

And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
| 18 Y reprendió Jesús al demonio, el cual salió del muchacho, y éste quedó sano desde aquella hora. | 18 Und Jesus bedrohte ihn; und der böse Geist fuhr aus von ihm, und der Knabe wurde gesund zu derselben Stunde. |

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
| 19 Viniendo entonces los discípulos a Jesús, aparte, dijeron: ¿Por qué nosotros no pudimos echarlo fuera? | 19 Da traten seine Jünger zu ihm, als sie allein waren, und fragten: Warum konnten wir ihn nicht austreiben? |

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
| 20 Jesús les dijo: Por vuestra poca fe; porque de cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis a este monte: Pásate de aquí allá, y se pasará; y nada os será imposible. | 20 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Wegen eures Kleinglaubens. Denn wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn ihr Glauben habt wie ein Senfkorn, so könnt ihr sagen zu diesem Berge: Heb dich dorthin!, so wird er sich heben; und euch wird nichts unmöglich sein.* |

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
| 21 Pero este género no sale sino con oración y ayuno. | 21 Als sie aber beieinander waren in Galiläa, sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Der Menschensohn wird überantwortet werden in die Hände der Menschen, |

And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
| 22 Estando ellos en Galilea, Jesús les dijo: El Hijo del Hombre será entregado en manos de hombres, | 22 und sie werden ihn töten, und am dritten Tag wird er auferstehen. Und sie wurden sehr betrübt. |

And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
| 23 y le matarán; mas al tercer día resucitará. Y ellos se entristecieron en gran manera. | 23 Als sie nun nach Kapernaum kamen, traten zu Petrus, die den Tempelgroschen einnehmen, und sprachen: Pflegt euer Meister nicht den Tempelgroschen zu geben? |

And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
| 24 Cuando llegaron a Capernaum, vinieron a Pedro los que cobraban las dos dracmas, y le dijeron: ¿Vuestro Maestro no paga las dos dracmas? | 24 Er sprach: Ja. Und als er heimkam, kam ihm Jesus zuvor und fragte: Was meinst du, Simon? Von wem nehmen die Könige auf Erden Zoll oder Steuern: von ihren Kindern oder von den Fremden? |

He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
| 25 El dijo: Sí. Y al entrar él en casa, Jesús le habló primero, diciendo: ¿Qué te parece, Simón? Los reyes de la tierra, ¿de quiénes cobran los tributos o los impuestos? ¿De sus hijos, o de los extraños? | 25 Als er antwortete: Von den Fremden, sprach Jesus zu ihm: So sind die Kinder frei. |

Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
| 26 Pedro le respondió: De los extraños. Jesús le dijo: Luego los hijos están exentos. | 26 Damit wir ihnen aber keinen Anstoß geben, geh hin an den See und wirf die Angel aus, und den ersten Fisch, der heraufkommt, den nimm; und wenn du sein Maul aufmachst, wirst du ein Zweigroschenstück finden; das nimm und gib's ihnen für mich und dich. |

Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. | 27 Sin embargo, para no ofenderles, ve al mar, y echa el anzuelo, y el primer pez que saques, tómalo, y al abrirle la boca, hallarás un estatero; tómalo, y dáselo por mí y por ti.
