Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Mas su corazón está lejos de mí. | 8 Dies Volk ehrt mich mit seinen Lippen, aber ihr Herz ist fern von mir; |

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Enseñando como doctrinas, mandamientos de hombres. | 9 vergeblich dienen sie mir, weil sie lehren solche Lehren, die nichts als Menschengebote sind." |

And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
| 11 No lo que entra en la boca contamina al hombre; mas lo que sale de la boca, esto contamina al hombre. | 11 Was zum Mund hineingeht, das macht den Menschen nicht unrein; sondern was aus dem Mund herauskommt, das macht den Menschen unrein. |

Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
| 12 Entonces acercándose sus discípulos, le dijeron: ¿Sabes que los fariseos se ofendieron cuando oyeron esta palabra? | 12 Da traten seine Jünger zu ihm und fragten: Weißt du auch, daß die Pharisäer an dem Wort Anstoß nahmen, als sie es hörten? |

But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
| 13 Pero respondiendo él, dijo: Toda planta que no plantó mi Padre celestial, será desarraigada. | 13 Aber er antwortete und sprach: Alle Pflanzen, die mein himmlischer Vater nicht gepflanzt hat, die werden ausgerissen. |

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
| 14 Dejadlos; son ciegos guías de ciegos; y si el ciego guiare al ciego, ambos caerán en el hoyo. | 14 Laßt sie, sie sind blinde Blindenführer! Wenn aber ein Blinder den andern führt, so fallen sie beide in die Grube. |

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
| 16 Jesús dijo: ¿También vosotros sois aún sin entendimiento? | 16 Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Seid denn auch ihr noch immer unverständig? |

Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
| 17 ¿No entendéis que todo lo que entra en la boca va al vientre, y es echado en la letrina? | 17 Merkt ihr nicht, daß alles, was zum Mund hineingeht, das geht in den Bauch und wird danach in die Grube ausgeleert? |

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
| 18 Pero lo que sale de la boca, del corazón sale; y esto contamina al hombre. | 18 Was aber aus dem Mund herauskommt, das kommt aus dem Herzen, und das macht den Menschen unrein. |

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
| 19 Porque del corazón salen los malos pensamientos, los homicidios, los adulterios, las fornicaciones, los hurtos, los falsos testimonios, las blasfemias. | 19 Denn aus dem Herzen kommen böse Gedanken, Mord, Ehebruch, Unzucht, Diebstahl, falsches Zeugnis, Lästerung. |

These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
| 20 Estas cosas son las que contaminan al hombre; pero el comer con las manos sin lavar no contamina al hombre. | 20 Das sind die Dinge, die den Menschen unrein machen. Aber mit ungewaschenen Händen essen, macht den Menschen nicht unrein. |

Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
| 21 Saliendo Jesús de allí, se fue a la región de Tiro y de Sidón. | 21 Und Jesus ging weg von dort und zog sich zurück in die Gegend von Tyrus und Sidon. |

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
| 22 Y he aquí una mujer cananea que había salido de aquella región clamaba, diciéndole: ¡Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí! Mi hija es gravemente atormentada por un demonio. | 22 Und siehe, eine kanaanäische Frau kam aus diesem Gebiet und schrie: Ach Herr, du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich meiner! Meine Tochter wird von einem bösen Geist übel geplagt. |

But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
| 23 Pero Jesús no le respondió palabra. Entonces acercándose sus discípulos, le rogaron, diciendo: Despídela, pues da voces tras nosotros. | 23 Und er antwortete ihr kein Wort. Da traten seine Jünger zu ihm, baten ihn und sprachen: Laß sie doch gehen,* denn sie schreit uns nach. * Es kann auch übersetzt werden: "Stell sie zufrieden". |

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
| 24 El respondiendo, dijo: No soy enviado sino a las ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel. | 24 Er antwortete aber und sprach: Ich bin nur gesandt zu den verlorenen Schafen des Hauses Israel. |

Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
| 25 Entonces ella vino y se postró ante él, diciendo: ¡Señor, socórreme! | 25 Sie aber kam und fiel vor ihm nieder und sprach: Herr, hilf mir! |

But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
| 26 Respondiendo él, dijo: No está bien tomar el pan de los hijos, y echarlo a los perrillos. | 26 Aber er antwortete und sprach: Es ist nicht recht, daß man den Kindern ihr Brot nehme und werfe es vor die Hunde. |

And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
| 27 Y ella dijo: Sí, Señor; pero aun los perrillos comen de las migajas que caen de la mesa de sus amos. | 27 Sie sprach: Ja, Herr; aber doch fressen die Hunde von den Brosamen, die vom Tisch ihrer Herren fallen. |

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
| 28 Entonces respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Oh mujer, grande es tu fe; hágase contigo como quieres. Y su hija fue sanada desde aquella hora. | 28 Da antwortete Jesus und sprach zu ihr: Frau, dein Glaube ist groß. Dir geschehe, wie du willst! Und ihre Tochter wurde gesund zu derselben Stunde. |

And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
| 29 Pasó Jesús de allí y vino junto al mar de Galilea; y subiendo al monte, se sentó allí. | 29 Und Jesus ging von dort weiter und kam an das Galiläische Meer und ging auf einen Berg und setzte sich dort. |

And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
| 30 Y se le acercó mucha gente que traía consigo a cojos, ciegos, mudos, mancos, y otros muchos enfermos; y los pusieron a los pies de Jesús, y los sanó; | 30 Und es kam eine große Menge zu ihm; die hatten bei sich Gelähmte, Verkrüppelte, Blinde, Stumme und viele andere Kranke und legten sie Jesus vor die Füße, und er heilte sie, |

Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
| 31 de manera que la multitud se maravillaba, viendo a los mudos hablar, a los mancos sanados, a los cojos andar, y a los ciegos ver; y glorificaban al Dios de Israel. | 31 so daß sich das Volk verwunderte, als sie sahen, daß die Stummen redeten, die Verkrüppelten gesund waren, die Gelähmten gingen, die Blinden sahen; und sie priesen den Gott Israels. |

Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
| 32 Y Jesús, llamando a sus discípulos, dijo: Tengo compasión de la gente, porque ya hace tres días que están conmigo, y no tienen qué comer; y enviarlos en ayunas no quiero, no sea que desmayen en el camino. | 32 Und Jesus rief seine Jünger zu sich und sprach: Das Volk jammert mich; denn sie harren nun schon drei Tage bei mir aus und haben nichts zu essen; und ich will sie nicht hungrig gehen lassen, damit sie nicht verschmachten auf dem Wege. |

And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
| 33 Entonces sus discípulos le dijeron: ¿De dónde tenemos nosotros tantos panes en el desierto, para saciar a una multitud tan grande? | 33 Da sprachen seine Jünger zu ihm: Woher sollen wir soviel Brot nehmen in der Wüste, um eine so große Menge zu sättigen? |

And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
| 34 Jesús les dijo: ¿Cuántos panes tenéis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete, y unos pocos pececillos. | 34 Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wie viele Brote habt ihr? Sie antworteten: Sieben und ein paar Fische. |

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
| 35 Y mandó a la multitud que se recostase en tierra. | 35 Und er ließ das Volk sich auf die Erde lagern |

And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
| 36 Y tomando los siete panes y los peces, dio gracias, los partió y dio a sus discípulos, y los discípulos a la multitud. | 36 und nahm die sieben Brote und die Fische, dankte, brach sie und gab sie seinen Jüngern, und die Jünger gaben sie dem Volk. |

And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.
| 37 Y comieron todos, y se saciaron; y recogieron lo que sobró de los pedazos, siete canastas llenas. | 37 Und sie aßen alle und wurden satt; und sie sammelten auf, was an Brocken übrigblieb, sieben Körbe voll. |

And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
| 38 Y eran los que habían comido, cuatro mil hombres, sin contar las mujeres y los niños. | 38 Und die gegessen hatten, waren viertausend Mann, ausgenommen Frauen und Kinder. |

And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala. | 39 Entonces, despedida la gente, entró en la barca, y vino a la región de Magdala. | 39 Und als er das Volk hatte gehen lassen, stieg er ins Boot und kam in das Gebiet von Magadan. |
