LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water.

The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.

In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.

They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.

Allí repetirán los triunfos de Jehová,
Los triunfos de sus aldeas en Israel;

Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.

En pos de ti, Benjamín, entre tus pueblos;

And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.

Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.

Then were the horsehoofs broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones.

Porque no vinieron al socorro de Jehová,
Al socorro de Jehová contra los fuertes. | 23 Fluchet der Stadt Meros, sprach der Engel des HERRN, fluchet, fluchet ihren Bürgern, daß sie nicht kamen dem HERRN zu Hilfe, zu Hilfe dem HERRN unter den Helden! |

Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.

He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.

She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.

Y su diestra al mazo de trabajadores,
Y golpeó a Sísara; hirió su cabeza,

At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
| 27 Cayó encorvado entre sus pies, quedó tendido;
Entre sus pies cayó encorvado;
Donde se encorvó, allí cayó muerto. | 27 Zu ihren Füßen krümmte er sich, fiel nieder und lag da. Er krümmte sich, fiel nieder zu ihren Füßen; wie er sich krümmte, so lag er erschlagen da. |

The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
| 28 La madre de Sísara se asoma a la ventana,
Y por entre las celosías a voces dice:
¿Por qué tarda su carro en venir?
¿Por qué las ruedas de sus carros se detienen? | 28 Die Mutter Siseras spähte zum Fenster hinaus und klagte durchs Gitter: Warum zögert sein Wagen, daß er nicht kommt? Warum säumen die Hufe seiner Rosse? |

Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
| 29 Las más avisadas de sus damas le respondían, | 29 Die weisesten unter ihren Fürstinnen antworten, und sie selbst wiederholt ihre Worte: |

Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
| 30 ¿No han hallado botín, y lo están repartiendo?
A cada uno una doncella, o dos;
Las vestiduras de colores para Sísara,
Las vestiduras bordadas de colores;
La ropa de color bordada de ambos lados, para los jefes de los que tomaron el botín. | 30 Sie werden wohl Beute finden und verteilen, ein Weib, zwei Weiber für jeden Mann, und für Sisera bunte gestickte Kleider zur Beute, gewirkte bunte Tücher um den Hals als Beute. |

So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years. | 31 Así perezcan todos tus enemigos, oh Jehová;
Mas los que te aman, sean como el sol cuando sale en su fuerza.
Y la tierra reposó cuarenta años. | 31 So sollen umkommen, HERR, alle deine Feinde! Die ihn aber liebhaben, sollen sein, wie die Sonne aufgeht in ihrer Pracht! Und das Land hatte Ruhe vierzig Jahre. |
