And after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim.

And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.
| 2 Y juzgó a Israel veintitrés ańos; y murió, y fue sepultado en Samir. | 2 und richtete Israel dreiundzwanzig Jahre und starb und wurde begraben in Schamir. |

And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years.

And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havoth-jair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead.
| 4 Este tuvo treinta hijos, que cabalgaban sobre treinta asnos; y tenían treinta ciudades, que se llaman las ciudades de Jair hasta hoy, las cuales están en la tierra de Galaad. | 4 Der hatte dreißig Söhne, die auf dreißig Eseln ritten. Und sie hatten dreißig Städte, die heißen "Dörfer Jaďrs" bis auf diesen Tag und liegen in Gilead. |

And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.

And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him.
| 6 Pero los hijos de Israel volvieron a hacer lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, y sirvieron a los baales y a Astarot, a los dioses de Siria, a los dioses de Sidón, a los dioses de Moab, a los dioses de los hijos de Amón y a los dioses de los filisteos; y dejaron a Jehová, y no le sirvieron. | 6 Aber die Israeliten taten wiederum, was dem HERRN mißfiel, und dienten den Baalen und den Astarten und den Göttern von Aram und den Göttern von Sidon und den Göttern Moabs und den Göttern der Ammoniter und den Göttern der Philister und verließen den HERRN und dienten ihm nicht. |

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.
| 7 Y se encendió la ira de Jehová contra Israel, y los entregó en mano de los filisteos, y en mano de los hijos de Amón; | 7 Da entbrannte der Zorn des HERRN über Israel, und er verkaufte sie unter die Hand der Philister und Ammoniter. |

And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
| 8 los cuales oprimieron y quebrantaron a los hijos de Israel en aquel tiempo dieciocho ańos, a todos los hijos de Israel que estaban al otro lado del Jordán en la tierra del amorreo, que está en Galaad. | 8 Und sie zertraten und zerschlugen Israel zu jener Zeit achtzehn Jahre lang, nämlich ganz Israel jenseits des Jordans im Land der Amoriter, das in Gilead liegt. |

Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.
| 9 Y los hijos de Amón pasaron el Jordán para hacer también guerra contra Judá y contra Benjamín y la casa de Efraín, y fue afligido Israel en gran manera. | 9 Dazu zogen die Ammoniter über den Jordan und kämpften gegen Juda, Benjamin und das Haus Ephraim, so daß Israel sehr geängstigt wurde. |

And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.
| 10 Entonces los hijos de Israel clamaron a Jehová, diciendo: Nosotros hemos pecado contra ti; porque hemos dejado a nuestro Dios, y servido a los baales. | 10 Da schrien die Israeliten zu dem HERRN und sprachen: Wir haben an dir gesündigt, denn wir haben unsern Gott verlassen und den Baalen gedient. |

And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
| 11 Y Jehová respondió a los hijos de Israel: żNo habéis sido oprimidos de Egipto, de los amorreos, de los amonitas, de los filisteos, | 11 Aber der HERR sprach zu den Israeliten: Haben euch nicht auch unterdrückt die Ägypter, die Amoriter, die Ammoniter, die Philister, |

The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.
| 12 de los de Sidón, de Amalec y de Maón, y clamando a mí no os libré de sus manos? | 12 die Sidonier, die Amalekiter und Maoniter? Aber ich half euch aus ihren Händen, als ihr zu mir schriet. |

Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.
| 13 Mas vosotros me habéis dejado, y habéis servido a dioses ajenos; por tanto, yo no os libraré más. | 13 Dennoch habt ihr mich verlassen und andern Göttern gedient. Darum will ich euch nicht mehr erretten. |

Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
| 14 Andad y clamad a los dioses que os habéis elegido; que os libren ellos en el tiempo de vuestra aflicción. | 14 Geht hin und schreit zu den Göttern, die ihr erwählt habt; laßt diese euch helfen zur Zeit eurer Bedrängnis! |

And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.
| 15 Y los hijos de Israel respondieron a Jehová: Hemos pecado; haz tú con nosotros como bien te parezca; sólo te rogamos que nos libres en este día. | 15 Aber die Israeliten sprachen zum HERRN: Wir haben gesündigt, mache du es mit uns, wie dir's gefällt; nur errette uns heute! |

And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
| 16 Y quitaron de entre sí los dioses ajenos, y sirvieron a Jehová; y él fue angustiado a causa de la aflicción de Israel. | 16 Und sie taten von sich die fremden Götter und dienten dem HERRN. Da jammerte es ihn, daß Israel so geplagt wurde. |

Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.
| 17 Entonces se juntaron los hijos de Amón, y acamparon en Galaad; se juntaron asimismo los hijos de Israel, y acamparon en Mizpa. | 17 Und die Ammoniter wurden aufgeboten und lagerten sich in Gilead; aber Israel versammelte sich und lagerte sich in Mizpa. |

And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead. | 18 Y los príncipes y el pueblo de Galaad dijeron el uno al otro: żQuién comenzará la batalla contra los hijos de Amón? Será caudillo sobre todos los que habitan en Galaad. | 18 Und die Oberen des Volks von Gilead sprachen untereinander: Wer ist der Mann, der anfängt, mit den Ammonitern zu kämpfen? Der soll das Haupt sein über alle, die in Gilead wohnen. |
