Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
| 2 Día de tinieblas y de oscuridad, día de nube y de sombra; como sobre los montes se extiende el alba, así vendrá un pueblo grande y fuerte; semejante a él no lo hubo jamás, ni después de él lo habrá en ańos de muchas generaciones. | 2 ein finsterer Tag, ein dunkler Tag, ein wolkiger Tag, ein nebliger Tag! Gleichwie die Morgenröte sich ausbreitet über die Berge, so kommt ein großes und mächtiges Volk, desgleichen vormals nicht gewesen ist und hinfort nicht sein wird auf ewige Zeiten für und für. |

A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
| 5 Como estruendo de carros saltarán sobre las cumbres de los montes; como sonido de llama de fuego que consume hojarascas, como pueblo fuerte dispuesto para la batalla. | 5 Sie sprengen daher über die Höhen der Berge, wie die Wagen rasseln und wie eine Flamme prasselt im Stroh, wie ein mächtiges Volk, das zum Kampf gerüstet ist. |

Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
| 8 Ninguno estrechará a su compańero, cada uno irá por su carrera; y aun cayendo sobre la espada no se herirán. | 8 Keiner wird den andern drängen, sondern ein jeder zieht auf seinem Weg daher; sie durchbrechen die feindlichen Waffen, und dabei reißt ihr Zug nicht ab. |

They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
| 9 Irán por la ciudad, correrán por el muro, subirán por las casas, entrarán por las ventanas a manera de ladrones. | 9 Sie werden sich stürzen auf die Stadt und die Mauern erstürmen, in die Häuser steigen sie ein, wie ein Dieb kommen sie durch die Fenster. |

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
| 10 Delante de él temblará la tierra, se estremecerán los cielos; el sol y la luna se oscurecerán, y las estrellas retraerán su resplandor. | 10 Vor ihm erzittert das Land und bebt der Himmel, Sonne und Mond werden finster, und die Sterne halten ihren Schein zurück. |

And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
| 11 Y Jehová dará su orden delante de su ejército; porque muy grande es su campamento; fuerte es el que ejecuta su orden; porque grande es el día de Jehová, y muy terrible; żquién podrá soportarlo? | 11 Denn der HERR wird seinen Donner vor seinem Heer erschallen lassen; denn sein Heer ist sehr groß und mächtig und wird seinen Befehl ausrichten. Ja, der Tag des HERRN ist groß und voller Schrecken, wer kann ihn ertragen? |

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
| 12 Por eso pues, ahora, dice Jehová, convertíos a mí con todo vuestro corazón, con ayuno y lloro y lamento. | 12 Doch auch jetzt noch, spricht der HERR, bekehret euch zu mir von ganzem Herzen mit Fasten, mit Weinen, mit Klagen! |

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
| 13 Rasgad vuestro corazón, y no vuestros vestidos, y convertíos a Jehová vuestro Dios; porque misericordioso es y clemente, tardo para la ira y grande en misericordia, y que se duele del castigo. | 13 Zerreißet eure Herzen und nicht eure Kleider und bekehret euch zu dem HERRN, eurem Gott! Denn er ist gnädig, barmherzig, geduldig und von großer Güte, und es gereut ihn bald die Strafe. |

Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
| 14 żQuién sabe si volverá y se arrepentirá y dejará bendición tras de él, esto es, ofrenda y libación para Jehová vuestro Dios? | 14 Wer weiß, ob es ihn nicht wieder gereut und er einen Segen zurückläßt, so daß ihr opfern könnt Speisopfer und Trankopfer dem HERRN, eurem Gott. |

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
| 15 Tocad trompeta en Sion, proclamad ayuno, convocad asamblea. | 15 Blast die Posaune zu Zion, sagt ein heiliges Fasten an, ruft die Gemeinde zusammen! |

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
| 16 Reunid al pueblo, santificad la reunión, juntad a los ancianos, congregad a los nińos y a los que maman, salga de su cámara el novio, y de su tálamo la novia. | 16 Versammelt das Volk, heiliget die Gemeinde, sammelt die Ältesten, bringt zusammen die Kinder und die Säuglinge! Der Bräutigam gehe aus seiner Kammer und die Braut aus ihrem Gemach! |

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
| 17 Entre la entrada y el altar lloren los sacerdotes ministros de Jehová, y digan: Perdona, oh Jehová, a tu pueblo, y no entregues al oprobio tu heredad, para que las naciones se enseńoreen de ella. żPor qué han de decir entre los pueblos: Dónde está su Dios? | 17 Laßt die Priester, des HERRN Diener, weinen zwischen Vorhalle und Altar und sagen: HERR, schone dein Volk und laß dein Erbteil nicht zuschanden werden, daß Heiden über sie spotten! Warum willst du unter den Völkern sagen lassen: Wo ist nun ihr Gott? |

Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
| 18 Y Jehová, solícito por su tierra, perdonará a su pueblo. | 18 Dann wird der HERR um sein Land eifern und sein Volk verschonen. |

Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
| 19 Responderá Jehová, y dirá a su pueblo: He aquí yo os envío pan, mosto y aceite, y seréis saciados de ellos; y nunca más os pondré en oprobio entre las naciones. | 19 Und der HERR wird antworten und zu seinem Volk sagen: Siehe, ich will euch Getreide, Wein und Öl die Fülle schicken, daß ihr genug daran haben sollt, und will euch nicht mehr unter den Heiden zuschanden werden lassen. |

But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
| 20 Y haré alejar de vosotros al del norte, y lo echaré en tierra seca y desierta; su faz será hacia el mar oriental, y su fin al mar occidental; y exhalará su hedor, y subirá su pudrición, porque hizo grandes cosas. | 20 Und ich will den Feind aus Norden von euch wegtreiben und ihn in ein dürres und wüstes Land verstoßen, seine Spitze in das östliche Meer und sein Ende in das westliche Meer; er soll verfaulen und stinken, denn er hat Gewaltiges getan. |

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
| 21 Tierra, no temas; alégrate y gózate, porque Jehová hará grandes cosas. | 21 Fürchte dich nicht, liebes Land, sondern sei fröhlich und getrost; denn der HERR kann auch Gewaltiges tun. |

Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
| 22 Animales del campo, no temáis; porque los pastos del desierto reverdecerán, porque los árboles llevarán su fruto, la higuera y la vid darán sus frutos. | 22 Fürchtet euch nicht, ihr Tiere auf dem Felde; denn die Auen in der Steppe sollen grünen und die Bäume ihre Früchte bringen, und die Feigenbäume und Weinstöcke sollen reichlich tragen. |

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
| 23 Vosotros también, hijos de Sion, alegraos y gozaos en Jehová vuestro Dios; porque os ha dado la primera lluvia a su tiempo, y hará descender sobre vosotros lluvia temprana y tardía como al principio. | 23 Und ihr, Kinder Zions, freuet euch und seid fröhlich im HERRN, eurem Gott, der euch gnädigen Regen gibt und euch herabsendet Frühregen und Spätregen wie zuvor, |

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
| 24 Las eras se llenarán de trigo, y los lagares rebosarán de vino y aceite. | 24 daß die Tennen voll Korn werden und die Keltern Überfluß an Wein und Öl haben sollen. |

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
| 25 Y os restituiré los ańos que comió la oruga, el saltón, el revoltón y la langosta, mi gran ejército que envié contra vosotros. | 25 Und ich will euch die Jahre erstatten, deren Ertrag die Heuschrecken, Käfer, Geschmeiß und Raupen gefressen haben, mein großes Heer, das ich unter euch schickte. |

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
| 26 Comeréis hasta saciaros, y alabaréis el nombre de Jehová vuestro Dios, el cual hizo maravillas con vosotros; y nunca jamás será mi pueblo avergonzado. | 26 Ihr sollt genug zu essen haben und den Namen des HERRN, eures Gottes, preisen, der Wunder unter euch getan hat, und mein Volk soll nicht mehr zuschanden werden. |

And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
| 27 Y conoceréis que en medio de Israel estoy yo, y que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, y no hay otro; y mi pueblo nunca jamás será avergonzado. | 27 Und ihr sollt's erfahren, daß ich mitten unter Israel bin und daß ich, der HERR, euer Gott bin, und sonst keiner mehr, und mein Volk soll nicht mehr zuschanden werden. |

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
| 28 Y después de esto derramaré mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y profetizarán vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas; vuestros ancianos sońarán sueńos, y vuestros jóvenes verán visiones. | |

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
| 29 Y también sobre los siervos y sobre las siervas derramaré mi Espíritu en aquellos días. | |

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
| 30 Y daré prodigios en el cielo y en la tierra, sangre, y fuego, y columnas de humo. | |

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
| 31 El sol se convertirá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día grande y espantoso de Jehová. | |

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. | 32 Y todo aquel que invocare el nombre de Jehová será salvo; porque en el monte de Sion y en Jerusalén habrá salvación, como ha dicho Jehová, y entre el remanente al cual él habrá llamado. | |
