The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.

For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah's house.
| 2 Entonces el ejército del rey de Babilonia tenía sitiada a Jerusalén, y el profeta Jeremías estaba preso en el patio de la cárcel que estaba en la casa del rey de Judá. | 2 Damals belagerte das Heer des Königs von Babel Jerusalem. For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
| 3 Porque Sedequías rey de Judá lo había puesto preso, diciendo: ¿Por qué profetizas tú diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo entrego esta ciudad en mano del rey de Babilonia, y la tomará; | 3 wo Zedekia, der König von Juda, ihn hatte gefangen setzen lassen, indem er sagte: Warum weissagst du und sprichst: So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich gebe diese Stadt in die Hände des Königs von Babel, und er soll sie erobern, |

And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes;
| 4 y Sedequías rey de Judá no escapará de la mano de los caldeos, sino que de cierto será entregado en mano del rey de Babilonia, y hablará con él boca a boca, y sus ojos verán sus ojos, | 4 und Zedekia, der König von Juda, soll den Chaldäern nicht entrinnen, sondern ich will ihn dem König von Babel in die Hände geben, daß er von Mund zu Mund mit ihm reden und mit eigenen Augen ihn sehen soll? |

And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the LORD: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not prosper?
| 5 y hará llevar a Sedequías a Babilonia, y allá estará hasta que yo le visite; y si peleareis contra los caldeos, no os irá bien, dice Jehová? | 5 Und er wird Zedekia nach Babel führen; da soll er auch bleiben, bis ich ihn heimsuche, spricht der HERR, denn wenn ihr auch gegen die Chaldäer kämpft, soll euch doch nichts gelingen. |

And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is thine to buy it.
| 7 He aquí que Hanameel hijo de Salum tu tío viene a ti, diciendo: Cómprame mi heredad que está en Anatot; porque tú tienes derecho a ella para comprarla. | 7 Siehe, Hanamel, der Sohn Schallums, deines Oheims, wird zu dir kommen und sagen: Kaufe du meinen Acker in Anatot; denn dir kommt es als Erstem zu, ihn einzulösen und zu kaufen. |

So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
| 8 Y vino a mí Hanameel hijo de mi tío, conforme a la palabra de Jehová, al patio de la cárcel, y me dijo: Compra ahora mi heredad, que está en Anatot en tierra de Benjamín, porque tuyo es el derecho de la herencia, y a ti corresponde el rescate; cómprala para ti. Entonces conocí que era palabra de Jehová. | 8 Da kam Hanamel, meines Oheims Sohn, wie der HERR gesagt hatte, zu mir in den Wachthof und sprach zu mir: Kaufe doch meinen Acker in Anatot, der im Lande Benjamin liegt; denn dir kommt es zu, ihn zu erwerben und einzulösen; kaufe du ihn! Da merkte ich, daß es des HERRN Wort war, |

And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
| 9 Y compré la heredad de Hanameel, hijo de mi tío, la cual estaba en Anatot, y le pesé el dinero; diecisiete siclos de plata. | 9 und kaufte den Acker von Hanamel, meines Oheims Sohn, in Anatot, und wog ihm das Geld dar, siebzehn Lot Silber. |

And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances.
| 10 Y escribí la carta y la sellé, y la hice certificar con testigos, y pesé el dinero en balanza. | 10 Und ich schrieb einen Kaufbrief und versiegelte ihn und nahm Zeugen dazu und wog das Geld dar auf der Waage nach Recht und Gewohnheit. |

So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
| 11 Tomé luego la carta de venta, sellada según el derecho y costumbre, y la copia abierta. | 11 Und ich nahm den versiegelten Kaufbrief und die offene Abschrift |

And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.
| 12 Y di la carta de venta a Baruc hijo de Nerías, hijo de Maasías, delante de Hanameel el hijo de mi tío, y delante de los testigos que habían suscrito la carta de venta, delante de todos los judíos que estaban en el patio de la cárcel. | 12 und gab beides Baruch, dem Sohn Nerijas, des Sohnes Machsejas, in Gegenwart Hanamels, meines Vetters, und der Zeugen, die unter dem Kaufbrief geschrieben standen, und aller Judäer, die im Wachthof sich aufhielten, |

And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
| 13 Y di orden a Baruc delante de ellos, | 13 und befahl Baruch vor ihren Augen: |

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
| 14 Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Toma estas cartas, esta carta de venta sellada, y esta carta abierta, y ponlas en una vasija de barro, para que se conserven muchos días. | 14 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Nimm diese Briefe, den versiegelten Kaufbrief samt dieser offenen Abschrift, und lege sie in ein irdenes Gefäß, daß sie lange erhalten bleiben. |

For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.
| 15 Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Aún se comprarán casas, heredades y viñas en esta tierra. | 15 Denn so spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Man wird wieder Häuser, aÄcker und Weinberge kaufen in diesem Lande. |

Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,
| 16 Y después que di la carta de venta a Baruc hijo de Nerías, oré a Jehová, | 16 Und als ich den Kaufbrief Baruch, dem Sohn Nerijas, gegeben hatte, betete ich zum HERRN und sprach: |

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
| 17 ¡Oh Señor Jehová! he aquí que tú hiciste el cielo y la tierra con tu gran poder, y con tu brazo extendido, ni hay nada que sea difícil para ti; | 17 Ach, Herr HERR, siehe, du hast Himmel und Erde gemacht durch deine große Kraft und durch deinen ausgereckten Arm, und es ist kein Ding vor dir unmöglich; |

Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,
| 18 que haces misericordia a millares, y castigas la maldad de los padres en sus hijos después de ellos; Dios grande, poderoso, Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre; | 18 der du Gnade erweist vielen Tausenden und die Schuld der Väter kommen läßt auf das Haupt ihrer Kinder, du großer und starker Gott - HERR Zebaoth ist dein Name -, |

Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
| 19 grande en consejo, y magnífico en hechos; porque tus ojos están abiertos sobre todos los caminos de los hijos de los hombres, para dar a cada uno según sus caminos, y según el fruto de sus obras. | 19 groß von Rat und mächtig von Tat, und deine Augen stehen offen über allen Wegen der Menschenkinder, einem jeden zu geben nach seinen Wegen und nach der Frucht seines Tuns; |

Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;
| 20 Tú hiciste señales y portentos en tierra de Egipto hasta este día, y en Israel, y entre los hombres; y te has hecho nombre, como se ve en el día de hoy. | 20 der du in Ägyptenland hast Zeichen und Wunder getan bis auf diesen Tag an Israel und an den Menschen und hast dir einen Namen gemacht, wie es heute am Tage ist, |

And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;
| 21 Y sacaste a tu pueblo Israel de la tierra de Egipto con señales y portentos, con mano fuerte y brazo extendido, y con terror grande; | 21 und hast dein Volk Israel aus Ägyptenland geführt durch Zeichen und Wunder, mit mächtiger Hand, mit ausgerecktem Arm und mit großem Schrecken, |

And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
| 22 y les diste esta tierra, de la cual juraste a sus padres que se la darías, la tierra que fluye leche y miel; | 22 und hast ihnen dies Land gegeben, wie du ihren Vätern geschworen hattest, daß du es ihnen geben wolltest, ein Land, darin Milch und Honig fließt; |

And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:
| 23 y entraron, y la disfrutaron; pero no oyeron tu voz, ni anduvieron en tu ley; nada hicieron de lo que les mandaste hacer; por tanto, has hecho venir sobre ellos todo este mal. | 23 aber als sie hineinkamen und es in Besitz nahmen, gehorchten sie deiner Stimme nicht, wandelten auch nicht nach deinem Gesetz, und alles, was du ihnen gebotest, daß sie es tun sollten, taten sie nicht; darum ließest du ihnen auch all dies Unheil widerfahren: |

Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
| 24 He aquí que con arietes han acometido la ciudad para tomarla, y la ciudad va a ser entregada en mano de los caldeos que pelean contra ella, a causa de la espada, del hambre y de la pestilencia; ha venido, pues, a suceder lo que tú dijiste, y he aquí lo estás viendo. | 24 Siehe, die Wälle reichen schon bis an die Stadt, daß sie erobert werde, und sie muß wegen Schwert, Hunger und Pest in die Hände der Chaldäer gegeben werden, die sie belagern; und wie du geredet hast, so ist's geschehen; du siehst es ja selbst. |

And thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
| 25 ¡Oh Señor Jehová! ¿y tú me has dicho: Cómprate la heredad por dinero, y pon testigos; aunque la ciudad sea entregada en manos de los caldeos? | 25 Aber du, Herr HERR, sprichst zu mir: "Kaufe dir einen Acker um Geld und nimm Zeugen dazu", obwohl doch die Stadt in die Hände der Chaldäer gegeben wird? |

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
| 26 Y vino palabra de Jehová a Jeremías, | 26 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Jeremia: |

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
| 27 He aquí que yo soy Jehová, Dios de toda carne; ¿habrá algo que sea difícil para mí? | 27 Siehe, ich, der HERR, bin der Gott alles Fleisches, sollte mir etwas unmöglich sein? |

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:
| 28 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí voy a entregar esta ciudad en mano de los caldeos, y en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y la tomará. | 28 Darum so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich gebe diese Stadt in die Hände der Chaldäer und in die Hand Nebukadnezars, des Königs von Babel, und er soll sie erobern. |

And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.
| 29 Y vendrán los caldeos que atacan esta ciudad, y la pondrán a fuego y la quemarán, asimismo las casas sobre cuyas azoteas ofrecieron incienso a Baal y derramaron libaciones a dioses ajenos, para provocarme a ira. | 29 Und die Chaldäer, die diese Stadt belagern, werden hereinkommen und sie in Brand stecken und verbrennen samt den Häusern, wo man auf den Dächern dem Baal Räucheropfer gespendet und andern Göttern Trankopfer dargebracht hat, um mich zu erzürnen. |

For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith the LORD.
| 30 Porque los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Judá no han hecho sino lo malo delante de mis ojos desde su juventud; porque los hijos de Israel no han hecho más que provocarme a ira con la obra de sus manos, dice Jehová. | 30 Denn Israel und Juda haben von ihrer Jugend auf getan, was mir mißfällt: ja, die Israeliten haben mich erzürnt durch ihrer Hände Werk, spricht der HERR. |

For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,
| 31 De tal manera que para enojo mío y para ira mía me ha sido esta ciudad desde el día que la edificaron hasta hoy, para que la haga quitar de mi presencia, | 31 Denn seit diese Stadt gebaut ist, hat sie mich zornig und grimmig gemacht bis auf diesen Tag, daß ich sie von meinem Angesicht wegtun muß |

Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
| 32 por toda la maldad de los hijos de Israel y de los hijos de Judá, que han hecho para enojarme, ellos, sus reyes, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes y sus profetas, y los varones de Judá y los moradores de Jerusalén. | 32 wegen all der Bosheit Israels und Judas, die sie getan haben, um mich zu erzürnen. Sie, ihre Könige, Oberen, Priester und Propheten und die in Juda und Jerusalem wohnten, |

And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.
| 33 Y me volvieron la cerviz, y no el rostro; y cuando los enseñaba desde temprano y sin cesar, no escucharon para recibir corrección. | 33 haben mir den Rücken und nicht das Angesicht zugekehrt, und obwohl ich sie stets lehren ließ, wollten sie nicht hören noch sich bessern. |

But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.
| 34 Antes pusieron sus abominaciones en la casa en la cual es invocado mi nombre, contaminándola. | 34 Dazu haben sie ihre greulichen Götzen in das Haus gesetzt, das nach meinem Namen genannt ist, daß sie es unrein machten, |

And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
| 35 Y edificaron lugares altos a Baal, los cuales están en el valle del hijo de Hinom, para hacer pasar por el fuego sus hijos y sus hijas a Moloc; lo cual no les mandé, ni me vino al pensamiento que hiciesen esta abominación, para hacer pecar a Judá. | 35 und haben die Höhen des Baal gebaut im Tal Ben-Hinnom, um ihre Söhne und Töchter für den Moloch durchs Feuer gehen zu lassen, was ich ihnen nicht befohlen habe, und es ist mir nie in den Sinn gekommen, daß sie solchen Greuel tun sollten, um Juda in Sünde zu bringen. |

And now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
| 36 Y con todo, ahora así dice Jehová Dios de Israel a esta ciudad, de la cual decís vosotros: Entregada será en mano del rey de Babilonia a espada, | 36 Nun aber, so spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, von dieser Stadt, von der ihr sagt, daß sie durch Schwert, Hunger und Pest in die Hände des Königs von Babel gegeben werde: |

Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
| 37 He aquí que yo los reuniré de todas las tierras a las cuales los eché con mi furor, y con mi enojo e indignación grande; y los haré volver a este lugar, y los haré habitar seguramente; | 37 Siehe, ich will sie sammeln aus allen Ländern, wohin ich sie verstoßen in meinem Zorn, Grimm und großem Unmut, und will sie wieder an diesen Ort bringen, daß sie sicher wohnen sollen. |

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
| 38 y me serán por pueblo, y yo seré a ellos por Dios. | 38 Sie sollen mein Volk sein, und ich will ihr Gott sein. |

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
| 39 Y les daré un corazón, y un camino, para que me teman perpetuamente, para que tengan bien ellos, y sus hijos después de ellos. | 39 Und ich will ihnen einerlei Sinn und einerlei Wandel geben, daß sie mich fürchten ihr Leben lang, auf daß es ihnen wohlgehe und ihren Kindern nach ihnen. |

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
| 40 Y haré con ellos pacto eterno, que no me volveré atrás de hacerles bien, y pondré mi temor en el corazón de ellos, para que no se aparten de mí. | 40 Und ich will einen ewigen Bund mit ihnen schließen, daß ich nicht ablassen will, ihnen Gutes zu tun, und will ihnen Furcht vor mir ins Herz geben, daß sie nicht von mir weichen. |

Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
| 41 Y me alegraré con ellos haciéndoles bien, y los plantaré en esta tierra en verdad, de todo mi corazón y de toda mi alma. | 41 Es soll meine Freude sein, ihnen Gutes zu tun, und ich will sie in diesem Lande einpflanzen, ganz gewiß, von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele. |

For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.
| 42 Porque así ha dicho Jehová: Como traje sobre este pueblo todo este gran mal, así traeré sobre ellos todo el bien que acerca de ellos hablo. | 42 Denn so spricht der HERR: Gleichwie ich über dies Volk all dies große Unheil habe kommen lassen, so will ich auch alles Gute über sie kommen lassen, das ich ihnen zugesagt habe. |

And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
| 43 Y poseerán heredad en esta tierra de la cual vosotros decís: Está desierta, sin hombres y sin animales, es entregada en manos de los caldeos. | 43 Und es sollen Äcker gekauft werden in diesem Lande, von dem ihr sagt: "Eine Wüste ist's ohne Menschen und Vieh; es ist in der Chaldäer Hände gegeben." |

Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the LORD. | 44 Heredades comprarán por dinero, y harán escritura y la sellarán y pondrán testigos, en tierra de Benjamín y en los contornos de Jerusalén, y en las ciudades de Judá; y en las ciudades de las montañas, y en las ciudades de la Sefela, y en las ciudades del Neguev; porque yo haré regresar sus cautivos, dice Jehová. | 44 Man wird aÄcker um Geld kaufen und verbriefen, versiegeln und Zeugen dazu nehmen im Lande Benjamin und um Jerusalem her und in den Städten Judas, in den Städten auf dem Gebirge, in den Städten des Hügellandes und in den Städten des Südlandes; denn ich will ihr Geschick wenden, spricht der HERR. |
