The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
| 1 Palabra que vino de Jehová a Jeremías, | 1 Dies ist das Wort, das zu Jeremia geschah vom HERRN: |

Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
| 2 Oíd las palabras de este pacto, y hablad a todo varón de Judá, y a todo morador de Jerusalén. | 2 Höret die Worte dieses Bundes, daß ihr sie den Leuten in Juda und den Bürgern von Jerusalem sagt! |

And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,
| 3 Y les dirás tú: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Maldito el varón que no obedeciere las palabras de este pacto, | 3 Und sprich zu ihnen: so spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Verflucht sei, wer nicht gehorcht den Worten dieses Bundes, |

Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
| 4 el cual mandé a vuestros padres el día que los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, del horno de hierro, diciéndoles: Oíd mi voz, y cumplid mis palabras, conforme a todo lo que os mando; y me seréis por pueblo, y yo seré a vosotros por Dios; | 4 die ich euren Vätern gebot an dem Tage, als ich sie aus Ägyptenland führte, aus dem glühenden Ofen, und sprach: Gehorcht meiner Stimme und tut, wie ich euch geboten habe, so sollt ihr mein Volk sein, und ich will euer Gott sein, |

That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.
| 5 para que confirme el juramento que hice a vuestros padres, que les daría la tierra que fluye leche y miel, como en este día. Y respondí y dije: Amén, oh Jehová. | 5 damit ich den Eid halten kann, den ich euren Vätern geschworen habe, ihnen ein Land zu geben, darin Milch und Honig fließt, so wie es heute ist. Ich antwortete und sprach: HERR, ja, so sei es! |

Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
| 6 Y Jehová me dijo: Pregona todas estas palabras en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén, diciendo: Oíd las palabras de este pacto, y ponedlas por obra. | 6 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Predige alle diese Worte in den Städten Judas und auf den Gassen Jerusalems und sprich: Hört die Worte dieses Bundes und tut danach! |

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
| 7 Porque solemnemente protesté a vuestros padres el día que les hice subir de la tierra de Egipto, amonestándoles desde temprano y sin cesar hasta el día de hoy, diciendo: Oíd mi voz. | 7 Denn ich habe eure Väter ermahnt von dem Tage an, als ich sie aus Ägyptenland führte, bis auf den heutigen Tag, und ich ermahnte sie immer wieder und sprach: Gehorcht meiner Stimme! |

Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.
| 8 Pero no oyeron, ni inclinaron su oído, antes se fueron cada uno tras la imaginación de su malvado corazón; por tanto, traeré sobre ellos todas las palabras de este pacto, el cual mandé que cumpliesen, y no lo cumplieron. | 8 Aber sie gehorchten nicht, kehrten auch ihre Ohren mir nicht zu, sondern ein jeder wandelte nach seinem bösen und verstockten Herzen. Darum habe ich auch über sie kommen lassen alle Worte dieses Bundes, den ich geboten hatte zu halten und den sie doch nicht gehalten haben. |

And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
| 9 Y me dijo Jehová: Conspiración se ha hallado entre los varones de Judá, y entre los moradores de Jerusalén. | 9 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Ich weiß sehr wohl, wie sie in Juda und in Jerusalem sich verschworen haben. |

They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
| 10 Se han vuelto a las maldades de sus primeros padres, los cuales no quisieron escuchar mis palabras, y se fueron tras dioses ajenos para servirles; la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá invalidaron mi pacto, el cual había yo concertado con sus padres. | 10 Sie kehren zurück zu den Sünden ihrer Väter, die vor ihnen waren und die meinen Worten auch nicht gehorchen wollten und andern Göttern nachfolgten und ihnen dienten. So hat das Haus Israel und das Haus Juda meinen Bund gebrochen, den ich mit ihren Vätern geschlossen habe. |

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
| 11 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo traigo sobre ellos mal del que no podrán salir; y clamarán a mí, y no los oiré. | 11 Darum siehe, spricht der HERR, ich will Unheil über sie kommen lassen, dem sie nicht entgehen sollen; und wenn sie zu mir schreien, will ich sie nicht hören. |

Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
| 12 E irán las ciudades de Judá y los moradores de Jerusalén, y clamarán a los dioses a quienes queman ellos incienso, los cuales no los podrán salvar en el tiempo de su mal. | 12 Dann werden die Städte Judas und die Bürger Jerusalems hingehen und zu den Göttern schreien, denen sie geopfert haben; aber die werden ihnen nicht helfen in ihrer Not. |

For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.
| 13 Porque según el número de tus ciudades fueron tus dioses, oh Judá; y según el número de tus calles, oh Jerusalén, pusiste los altares de ignominia, altares para ofrecer incienso a Baal. | 13 Denn so viel Städte, so viel Götter hast du, Juda; und so viele Gassen es in Jerusalem gibt, so viele Schandaltäre habt ihr aufgerichtet, um dem Baal zu opfern. |

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
| 14 Tú, pues, no ores por este pueblo, ni levantes por ellos clamor ni oración; porque yo no oiré en el día que en su aflicción clamen a mí. | 14 Du aber bitte nicht für dies Volk und bringe für sie kein Flehen noch Gebet vor mich; denn ich will sie nicht hören, wenn sie zu mir schreien in ihrer Not. |

What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.
| 15 ¿Qué derecho tiene mi amada en mi casa, habiendo hecho muchas abominaciones? ¿Crees que los sacrificios y las carnes santificadas de las víctimas pueden evitarte el castigo? ¿Puedes gloriarte de eso? | 15 Was macht mein geliebtes Volk in meinem Hause? Sie treiben lauter Bosheit und meinen, Gelübde und heiliges Opferfleisch könnten die Schuld von ihnen nehmen; und wenn sie übel tun, sind sie guter Dinge darüber. |

The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
| 16 Olivo verde, hermoso en su fruto y en su parecer, llamó Jehová tu nombre. A la voz de recio estrépito hizo encender fuego sobre él, y quebraron sus ramas. | 16 Der HERR nannte dich einen grünen, schönen, fruchtbaren Ölbaum; aber nun hat er mit großem Brausen ein Feuer um ihn anzünden lassen, so daß seine Äste verderben müssen. |

For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
| 17 Porque Jehová de los ejércitos que te plantó ha pronunciado mal contra ti, a causa de la maldad que la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá han hecho, provocándome a ira con incensar a Baal. | 17 Denn der HERR Zebaoth, der dich gepflanzt hat, hat dir Unheil angedroht um der Bosheit willen des Hauses Israel und des Hauses Juda, die sie getrieben haben, um mich zu erzürnen mit ihren Räucheropfern, die sie dem Baal darbrachten. |

And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings.
| 18 Y Jehová me lo hizo saber, y lo conocí; entonces me hiciste ver sus obras. | 18 Der HERR tat mir kund ihr Vorhaben, damit ich's wisse, und er zeigte es mir. |

But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.
| 19 Y yo era como cordero inocente que llevan a degollar, pues no entendía que maquinaban designios contra mí, diciendo: Destruyamos el árbol con su fruto, y cortémoslo de la tierra de los vivientes, para que no haya más memoria de su nombre. | 19 Denn ich war wie ein argloses Lamm gewesen, das zur Schlachtbank geführt wird, und wußte nicht, daß sie gegen mich beratschlagt und gesagt hatten: Laßt uns den Baum in seinem Saft verderben und ihn aus dem Lande der Lebendigen ausrotten, daß seines Namens nimmermehr gedacht werde. |

But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
| 20 Pero, oh Jehová de los ejércitos, que juzgas con justicia, que escudriñas la mente y el corazón, vea yo tu venganza de ellos; porque ante ti he expuesto mi causa. | 20 Aber du, HERR Zebaoth, du gerechter Richter, der du Nieren und Herzen prüfst, laß mich sehen, wie du ihnen vergiltst; denn ich habe dir meine Sache befohlen. |

Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:
| 21 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová acerca de los varones de Anatot que buscan tu vida, diciendo: No profetices en nombre de Jehová, para que no mueras a nuestras manos; | 21 Darum spricht der HERR über die Männer von Anatot, die dir nach dem Leben trachten und sprechen: Weissage nicht im Namen des HERRN, wenn du nicht von unsern Händen sterben willst! - |

Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
| 22 así, pues, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: He aquí que yo los castigaré; los jóvenes morirán a espada, sus hijos y sus hijas morirán de hambre, | 22 darum spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Siehe, ich will sie heimsuchen. Ihre junge Mannschaft soll mit dem Schwert getötet werden, und ihre Söhne und Töchter sollen vor Hunger sterben, |

And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation. | 23 y no quedará remanente de ellos, pues yo traeré mal sobre los varones de Anatot, el año de su castigo. | 23 daß keiner von ihnen übrigbleibt; denn ich will über die Männer von Anatot Unheil kommen lassen in dem Jahr, da ich sie heimsuchen werde. |
