Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.

I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;

I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
| 5 te lo dije ya hace tiempo; antes que sucediera te lo advertí, para que no dijeras: Mi ídolo lo hizo, mis imágenes de escultura y de fundición mandaron estas cosas. | 5 Darum habe ich dir's vorzeiten verkündigt und es dir sagen lassen, ehe es gekommen ist, damit du nicht sagen könntest: Mein Götze tat es, und mein Abgott, der geschnitzt und gegossen wurde, hat's befohlen. |

Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.

They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.

Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
| 8 Sí, nunca lo habías oído, ni nunca lo habías conocido; ciertamente no se abrió antes tu oído; porque sabía que siendo desleal habías de desobedecer, por tanto te llamé rebelde desde el vientre. | 8 Du hörtest es nicht und wußtest es auch nicht, und dein Ohr war damals nicht geöffnet. Ich aber wußte sehr wohl, daß du treulos bist und man dich nennt "Abtrünnig von Mutterleib an". |

For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
| 9 Por amor de mi nombre diferiré mi ira, y para alabanza mía la reprimiré para no destruirte. | 9 Um meines Namens willen halte ich lange meinen Zorn zurück, und um meines Ruhmes willen bezähme ich mich dir zugut, damit du nicht ausgerottet wirst. |

Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
| 14 Juntaos todos vosotros, y oíd. ¿Quién hay entre ellos que anuncie estas cosas? Aquel a quien Jehová amó ejecutará su voluntad en Babilonia, y su brazo estará sobre los caldeos. | 14 Versammelt euch alle und hört: Wer ist unter ihnen, der es verkündigt hat? Er, den der HERR liebt, wird seinen Willen an Babel beweisen und seinen Arm an den Chaldäern. |

I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
| 15 Yo, yo hablé, y le llamé y le traje; por tanto, será prosperado su camino. | 15 Ich, ja, ich habe es gesagt, ich habe ihn gerufen, ich habe ihn auch kommen lassen, und sein Weg soll ihm gelingen. |

Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
| 16 Acercaos a mí, oíd esto: desde el principio no hablé en secreto; desde que eso se hizo, allí estaba yo; y ahora me envió Jehová el Señor, y su Espíritu. | 16 Tretet her zu mir und höret dies! Ich habe von Anfang an nicht im Verborgenen geredet; von der Zeit an, da es geschieht, bin ich auf dem Plan. - Und nun sendet mich Gott der HERR und sein Geist. |

Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
| 17 Así ha dicho Jehová, Redentor tuyo, el Santo de Israel: Yo soy Jehová Dios tuyo, que te enseña provechosamente, que te encamina por el camino que debes seguir. | 17 So spricht der HERR, dein Erlöser, der Heilige Israels: Ich bin der HERR, dein Gott, der dich lehrt, was dir hilft, und dich leitet auf dem Wege, den du gehst. |

O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
| 18 ¡Oh, si hubieras atendido a mis mandamientos! Fuera entonces tu paz como un río, y tu justicia como las ondas del mar. | 18 Oh daß du auf meine Gebote gemerkt hättest, so würde dein Friede sein wie ein Wasserstrom und deine Gerechtigkeit wie Meereswellen. |

Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
| 19 Fuera como la arena tu descendencia, y los renuevos de tus entrañas como los granos de arena; nunca su nombre sería cortado, ni raído de mi presencia. | 19 Deine Kinder würden zahlreich sein wie Sand und deine Nachkommen wie Sandkörner. Dein Name würde nicht ausgerottet und nicht vertilgt werden vor mir. |

Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
| 20 Salid de Babilonia, huid de entre los caldeos; dad nuevas de esto con voz de alegría, publicadlo, llevadlo hasta lo postrero de la tierra; decid: Redimió Jehová a Jacob su siervo. | 20 Geht heraus aus Babel, flieht von den Chaldäern! Mit fröhlichem Schall verkündigt dies und laßt es hören, tragt's hinaus bis an die Enden der Erde und sprecht: Der HERR hat seinen Knecht Jakob erlöst. |

And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked. | 22 No hay paz para los malos, dijo Jehová.
Israel, | 22 Aber die Gottlosen, spricht der HERR, haben keinen Frieden. |
