In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
| 1 En aquellos días Ezequías enfermó de muerte. Y vino a él el profeta Isaías hijo de Amoz, y le dijo: Jehová dice así: Ordena tu casa, porque morirás, y no vivirás. | 1 Zu der Zeit wurde Hiskia todkrank. Und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Bestelle dein Haus, denn du wirst sterben und nicht am Leben bleiben. |

Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
| 2 Entonces volvió Ezequías su rostro a la pared, e hizo oración a Jehová, | 2 Da wandte Hiskia sein Angesicht zur Wand und betete zum HERRN |

And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
| 3 y dijo: Oh Jehová, te ruego que te acuerdes ahora que he andado delante de ti en verdad y con íntegro corazón, y que he hecho lo que ha sido agradable delante de tus ojos. Y lloró Ezequías con gran lloro. | 3 und sprach: Gedenke doch, HERR, wie ich vor dir in Treue und ungeteilten Herzens gewandelt bin und habe getan, was dir gefallen hat. Und Hiskia weinte sehr. |

Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
| 4 Entonces vino palabra de Jehová a Isaías, | 4 Da geschah das Wort des HERRN zu Jesaja: |

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
| 5 Ve y di a Ezequías: Jehová Dios de David tu padre dice así: He oído tu oración, y visto tus lágrimas; he aquí que yo añado a tus días quince años. | 5 Geh hin und sage Hiskia: So spricht der HERR, der Gott deines Vaters David: Ich habe dein Gebet gehört und deine Tränen gesehen. Siehe, ich will deinen Tagen noch fünfzehn Jahre zulegen |

And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
| 6 Y te libraré a ti y a esta ciudad, de mano del rey de Asiria; y a esta ciudad ampararé. | 6 und will dich samt dieser Stadt erretten aus der Hand des Königs von Assyrien und will diese Stadt beschirmen. |

And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;
| 7 Y esto te será señal de parte de Jehová, | 7 Und dies sei dir das Zeichen von dem HERRN, daß der HERR tun wird, was er zugesagt hat: |

Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
| 8 He aquí yo haré volver la sombra por los grados que ha descendido con el sol, en el reloj de Acaz, diez grados atrás. Y volvió el sol diez grados atrás, por los cuales había ya descendido. | 8 Siehe, ich will den Schatten an der Sonnenuhr des Ahas zehn Striche zurückziehen, über die er gelaufen ist. Und die Sonne lief zehn Striche zurück an der Sonnenuhr, über die sie gelaufen war. |

The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness:
| 9 Escritura de Ezequías rey de Judá, | 9 Dies ist das Lied Hiskias, des Königs von Juda, als er krank gewesen und von seiner Krankheit gesund geworden war: |

I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.
| 10 Yo dije: A la mitad de mis días iré a las puertas del Seol; privado soy del resto de mis años. | 10 Ich sprach: Nun muß ich zu des Totenreiches Pforten fahren in der Mitte meines Lebens, da ich doch gedachte, noch länger zu leben. |

I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
| 11 Dije: No veré a JAH, a JAH en la tierra de los vivientes; ya no veré más hombre con los moradores del mundo. | 11 Ich sprach: Nun werde ich den HERRN nicht mehr schauen im Lande der Lebendigen, nun werde ich die Menschen nicht mehr sehen mit denen, die auf der Welt sind. |

Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
| 12 Mi morada ha sido movida y traspasada de mí, como tienda de pastor. Como tejedor corté mi vida; me cortará con la enfermedad; me consumirás entre el día y la noche. | 12 Meine Hütte ist abgebrochen und über mir weggenommen wie eines Hirten Zelt. Zu Ende gewebt hab ich mein Leben wie ein Weber; er schneidet mich ab vom Faden. Tag und Nacht gibst du mich preis; |

I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
| 13 Contaba yo hasta la mañana. Como un león molió todos mis huesos; de la mañana a la noche me acabarás. | 13 bis zum Morgen schreie ich um Hilfe; aber er zerbricht mir alle meine Knochen wie ein Löwe; Tag und Nacht gibst du mich preis. |

Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.
| 14 Como la grulla y como la golondrina me quejaba; gemía como la paloma; alzaba en alto mis ojos. Jehová, violencia padezco; fortaléceme. | 14 Ich zwitschere wie eine Schwalbe und gurre wie eine Taube. Meine Augen sehen verlangend nach oben: Herr, ich leide Not, tritt für mich ein! |

What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
| 15 ¿Qué diré? El que me lo dijo, él mismo lo ha hecho. Andaré humildemente todos mis años, a causa de aquella amargura de mi alma. | 15 Was soll ich reden und was ihm sagen?Er hat's getan! Entflohen ist all mein Schlaf bei solcher Betrübnis meiner Seele. |

O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
| 16 Oh Señor, por todas estas cosas los hombres vivirán, y en todas ellas está la vida de mi espíritu; pues tú me restablecerás, y harás que viva. | 16 Herr, laß mich wieder genesen und leben! |

Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
| 17 He aquí, amargura grande me sobrevino en la paz, mas a ti agradó librar mi vida del hoyo de corrupción; porque echaste tras tus espaldas todos mis pecados. | 17 Siehe, um Trost war mir sehr bange. Du aber hast dich meiner Seele herzlich angenommen, daß sie nicht verdürbe; denn du wirfst alle meine Sünden hinter dich zurück. |

For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.
| 18 Porque el Seol no te exaltará, ni te alabará la muerte; ni los que descienden al sepulcro esperarán tu verdad. | 18 Denn die Toten loben dich nicht, und der Tod rühmt dich nicht, und die in die Grube fahren, warten nicht auf deine Treue; |

The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
| 19 El que vive, el que vive, éste te dará alabanza, como yo hoy; el padre hará notoria tu verdad a los hijos. | 19 sondern allein, die da leben, loben dich so wie ich heute. Der Vater macht den Kindern deine Treue kund. |

The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.
| 20 Jehová me salvará; por tanto cantaremos nuestros cánticos en la casa de Jehová todos los días de nuestra vida. | 20 Der HERR hat mir geholfen, darum wollen wir singen und spielen, solange wir leben, im Hause des HERRN! |

For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover.
| 21 Y había dicho Isaías: Tomen masa de higos, y pónganla en la llaga, y sanará. | 21 *Und Jesaja sprach, man solle ein Pflaster von Feigen nehmen und auf sein Geschwür legen, daß er gesund würde. *Die Verse 21 und 22 gehören zwischen Vers 6 und Vers 7 wie in 2. Kön 20,7.8. |

Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD? | 22 Había asimismo dicho Ezequías: ¿Qué señal tendré de que subiré a la casa de Jehová? | 22 Hiskia aber sprach: Was ist das Zeichen, daß ich wieder zum Hause des HERRN hinaufgehen kann? |
