Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.

For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
| 2 Porque Jehová está airado contra todas las naciones, e indignado contra todo el ejército de ellas; las destruirá y las entregará al matadero. | 2 Denn der HERR ist zornig über alle Heiden und ergrimmt über alle ihre Scharen. Er wird an ihnen den Bann vollstrecken und sie zur Schlachtung dahingeben. |

Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
| 4 Y todo el ejército de los cielos se disolverá, y se enrollarán los cielos como un libro; y caerá todo su ejército, como se cae la hoja de la parra, y como se cae la de la higuera. | 4 Und alles Heer des Himmels wird dahinschwinden, und der Himmel wird zusammengerollt werden wie eine Buchrolle, und all sein Heer wird hinwelken, wie ein Blatt verwelkt am Weinstock und wie ein dürres Blatt am Feigenbaum. |

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
| 5 Porque en los cielos se embriagará mi espada; he aquí que descenderá sobre Edom en juicio, y sobre el pueblo de mi anatema. | 5 Denn mein Schwert ist trunken im Himmel, und siehe, es wird herniederfahren auf Edom und über das Volk, an dem ich den Bann vollstrecke zum Gericht. |

The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
| 6 Llena está de sangre la espada de Jehová, engrasada está de grosura, de sangre de corderos y de machos cabríos, de grosura de rińones de carneros; porque Jehová tiene sacrificios en Bosra, y grande matanza en tierra de Edom. | 6 Des HERRN Schwert ist voll Blut und trieft von Fett, vom Blut der Lämmer und Böcke, vom Nierenfett der Widder. Denn der HERR hält ein Schlachten in Bozra und ein großes Opfer im Lande Edom. |

And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
| 7 Y con ellos caerán búfalos, y toros con becerros; y su tierra se embriagará de sangre, y su polvo se engrasará de grosura. | 7 Da werden Wildstiere mit ihnen niedersinken und junge Stiere samt den Büffeln. Und ihr Land wird trunken werden von Blut, und die Erde wird triefen von Fett. |

For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
| 8 Porque es día de venganza de Jehová, ańo de retribuciones en el pleito de Sion. | 8 Denn es kommt der Tag der Rache des HERRN und das Jahr der Vergeltung, um Zion zu rächen. |

And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
| 9 Y sus arroyos se convertirán en brea, y su polvo en azufre, y su tierra en brea ardiente. | 9 Da werden Edoms Bäche zu Pech werden und seine Erde zu Schwefel; ja, sein Land wird zu brennendem Pech werden, |

It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
| 10 No se apagará de noche ni de día, perpetuamente subirá su humo; de generación en generación será asolada, nunca jamás pasará nadie por ella. | 10 das weder Tag noch Nacht verlöschen wird, sondern immer wird Rauch von ihm aufgehen. But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.
| 11 Se adueńarán de ella el pelícano y el erizo, la lechuza y el cuervo morarán en ella; y se extenderá sobre ella cordel de destrucción, y niveles de asolamiento. | 11 sondern Rohrdommeln und Igel werden's in Besitz nehmen, Nachteulen und Raben werden dort wohnen. Und er wird die Meßschnur darüber spannen, daß es verwüstet werde, und das Bleilot werfen, daß es öde sei. |

They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.
| 12 Llamarán a sus príncipes, príncipes sin reino; y todos sus grandes serán nada. | 12 Und Feldgeister werden darin wohnen, und seine Edlen werden nicht mehr sein. Man wird dort keinen König mehr ausrufen, und alle seine Fürsten werden ein Ende haben. |

And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
| 13 En sus alcázares crecerán espinos, y ortigas y cardos en sus fortalezas; y serán morada de chacales, y patio para los pollos de los avestruces. | 13 Dornen werden wachsen in seinen Palästen, Nesseln und Disteln in seinen Schlössern; und es wird eine Behausung sein der Schakale und eine Stätte für die Strauße. |

The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
| 14 Las fieras del desierto se encontrarán con las hienas, y la cabra salvaje gritará a su compańero; la lechuza también tendrá allí morada, y hallará para sí reposo. | 14 Da werden Wüstentiere und wilde Hunde einander treffen, und ein Feldgeist wird dem andern begegnen. Das Nachtgespenst wird auch dort herbergen und seine Ruhestatt dort finden. |

There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
| 15 Allí anidará el buho, pondrá sus huevos, y sacará sus pollos, y los juntará debajo de sus alas; también se juntarán allí buitres, cada uno con su compańera. | 15 Da wird auch die Natter nisten und legen, ihre Eier aufhäufen und ausbrüten. Auch die Raubvögel werden dort zusammenkommen. Keines vermißt das andere. |

Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
| 16 Inquirid en el libro de Jehová, y leed si faltó alguno de ellos; ninguno faltó con su compańera; porque su boca mandó, y los reunió su mismo Espíritu. | 16 - Suchet nun in dem Buch des HERRN und lest! - Keines von ihnen wird fehlen. Denn sein Mund gebietet es, und sein Geist bringt sie zusammen. |

And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein. | 17 Y él les echó suertes, y su mano les repartió con cordel; para siempre la tendrán por heredad; de generación en generación morarán allí. | 17 Er wirft ihnen das Los, und seine Hand teilt aus unter sie mit der Meßschnur, daß sie das Land besitzen auf ewige Zeiten und darin wohnen von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht. |
