And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
| 1 Saldrá una vara del tronco de Isaí, y un vástago retoñará de sus raíces. | 1 Und es wird ein Reis hervorgehen aus dem Stamm Isais und ein Zweig aus seiner Wurzel Frucht bringen. |

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
| 2 Y reposará sobre él el Espíritu de Jehová; espíritu de sabiduría y de inteligencia, espíritu de consejo y de poder, espíritu de conocimiento y de temor de Jehová. | 2 Auf ihm wird ruhen der Geist des HERRN, der Geist der Weisheit und des Verstandes, der Geist des Rates und der Stärke, der Geist der Erkenntnis und der Furcht des HERRN. |

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
| 3 Y le hará entender diligente en el temor de Jehová. No juzgará según la vista de sus ojos, ni argüirá por lo que oigan sus oídos; | 3 Und Wohlgefallen wird er haben an der Furcht des HERRN. Er wird nicht richten nach dem, was seine Augen sehen, noch Urteil sprechen nach dem, was seine Ohren hören, |

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
| 4 sino que juzgará con justicia a los pobres, y argüirá con equidad por los mansos de la tierra; y herirá la tierra con la vara de su boca, y con el espíritu de sus labios matará al impío. | 4 sondern wird mit Gerechtigkeit richten die Armen und rechtes Urteil sprechen den Elenden im Lande, und er wird mit dem Stabe seines Mundes den Gewalttätigen schlagen und mit dem Odem seiner Lippen den Gottlosen töten. |

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
| 5 Y será la justicia cinto de sus lomos, y la fidelidad ceñidor de su cintura. | 5 Gerechtigkeit wird der Gurt seiner Lenden sein und die Treue der Gurt seiner Hüften. |

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
| 6 Morará el lobo con el cordero, y el leopardo con el cabrito se acostará; el becerro y el león y la bestia doméstica andarán juntos, y un niño los pastoreará. | 6 Da werden die Wölfe bei den Lämmern wohnen und die Panther bei den Böcken lagern. Ein kleiner Knabe wird Kälber und junge Löwen und Mastvieh miteinander treiben. |

And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
| 7 La vaca y la osa pacerán, sus crías se echarán juntas; y el león como el buey comerá paja. | 7 Kühe und Bären werden zusammen weiden, daß ihre Jungen beieinander liegen, und Löwen werden Stroh fressen wie die Rinder. |

And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den.
| 8 Y el niño de pecho jugará sobre la cueva del áspid, y el recién destetado extenderá su mano sobre la caverna de la víbora. | 8 Und ein Säugling wird spielen am Loch der Otter, und ein entwöhntes Kind wird seine Hand stecken in die Höhle der Natter. |

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
| 9 No harán mal ni dañarán en todo mi santo monte; porque la tierra será llena del conocimiento de Jehová, como las aguas cubren el mar. | 9 Man wird nirgends Sünde tun noch freveln auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berge; denn das Land wird voll Erkenntnis des HERRN sein, wie Wasser das Meer bedeckt. |

And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
| 10 Acontecerá en aquel tiempo que la raíz de Isaí, la cual estará puesta por pendón a los pueblos, será buscada por las gentes; y su habitación será gloriosa. | 10 Und es wird geschehen zu der Zeit, daß das Reis aus der Wurzel Isais dasteht als Zeichen für die Völker. Nach ihm werden die Heiden fragen, und die Stätte, da er wohnt, wird herrlich sein. |

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
| 11 Asimismo acontecerá en aquel tiempo, que Jehová alzará otra vez su mano para recobrar el remanente de su pueblo que aún quede en Asiria, Egipto, Patros, Etiopía, Elam, Sinar y Hamat, y en las costas del mar. | 11 Und der Herr wird zu der Zeit zum zweiten Mal seine Hand ausstrecken, daß er den Rest seines Volks loskaufe, der übriggeblieben ist in Assur, Ägypten, Patros, Kusch, Elam, Schinar, Hamat und auf den Inseln des Meeres. |

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
| 12 Y levantará pendón a las naciones, y juntará los desterrados de Israel, y reunirá los esparcidos de Judá de los cuatro confines de la tierra. | 12 Und er wird ein Zeichen aufrichten unter den Völkern und zusammenbringen die Verjagten Israels und die Zerstreuten Judas sammeln von den vier Enden der Erde. |

The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
| 13 Y se disipará la envidia de Efraín, y los enemigos de Judá serán destruidos. Efraín no tendrá envidia de Judá, ni Judá afligirá a Efraín; | 13 Und der Neid Ephraims wird aufhören und die Feindschaft Judas ausgerottet werden, daß Ephraim nicht mehr neidisch ist auf Juda und Juda nicht mehr Ephraim feind ist. |

But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
| 14 sino que volarán sobre los hombros de los filisteos al occidente, saquearán también a los de oriente; Edom y Moab les servirán, y los hijos de Amón los obedecerán. | 14 Sie werden sich stürzen auf das Land der Philister im Westen und miteinander berauben alle, die im Osten wohnen. Nach Edom und Moab werden sie ihre Hände ausstrecken, die Ammoniter werden ihnen gehorsam sein. |

And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
| 15 Y secará Jehová la lengua del mar de Egipto; y levantará su mano con el poder de su espíritu sobre el río, y lo herirá en sus siete brazos, y hará que pasen por él con sandalias. | 15 Und der HERR wird austrocknen die Zunge des Meeres von Ägypten und wird seine Hand gehen lassen über den Euphrat mit seinem starken Wind und ihn in sieben Bäche zerschlagen, so daß man mit Schuhen hindurchgehen kann. |

And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. | 16 Y habrá camino para el remanente de su pueblo, el que quedó de Asiria, de la manera que lo hubo para Israel el día que subió de la tierra de Egipto. | 16 Und es wird eine Straße dasein für den Rest seines Volks, das übriggeblieben ist in Assur, wie sie für Israel da war zur Zeit, als sie aus Ägyptenland zogen. |
