Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
| 9 No os dejéis llevar de doctrinas diversas y extrañas; porque buena cosa es afirmar el corazón con la gracia, no con viandas, que nunca aprovecharon a los que se han ocupado de ellas. | 9 Laßt euch nicht durch mancherlei und fremde Lehren umtreiben, denn es ist ein köstlich Ding, daß das Herz fest werde, welches geschieht durch Gnade, nicht durch Speisegebote, von denen keinen Nutzen haben, die damit umgehen. |

We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
| 15 Así que, ofrezcamos siempre a Dios, por medio de él, sacrificio de alabanza, es decir, fruto de labios que confiesan su nombre. | 15 So laßt uns nun durch ihn Gott allezeit das Lobopfer darbringen, das ist die Frucht der Lippen, die seinen Namen bekennen. |

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
| 17 Obedeced a vuestros pastores, y sujetaos a ellos; porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta; para que lo hagan con alegría, y no quejándose, porque esto no os es provechoso. | 17 Gehorcht euren Lehrern und folgt ihnen, denn sie wachen über eure Seelen - und dafür müssen sie Rechenschaft geben -, damit sie das mit Freuden tun und nicht mit Seufzen; denn das wäre nicht gut für euch. |

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
| 18 Orad por nosotros; pues confiamos en que tenemos buena conciencia, deseando conducirnos bien en todo. | 18 Betet für uns. Unser Trost ist, daß wir ein gutes Gewissen haben, und wir wollen in allen Dingen ein ordentliches Leben führen. |

But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
| 21 os haga aptos en toda obra buena para que hagáis su voluntad, haciendo él en vosotros lo que es agradable delante de él por Jesucristo; al cual sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
