I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
| 2 Y Jehová me respondió, y dijo: Escribe la visión, y declárala en tablas, para que corra el que leyere en ella. | 2 Der HERR aber antwortete mir und sprach: Schreib auf, was du geschaut hast, deutlich auf eine Tafel, daß es lesen könne, wer vorüberläuft! |

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
| 3 Aunque la visión tardará aún por un tiempo, mas se apresura hacia el fin, y no mentirá; aunque tardare, espéralo, porque sin duda vendrá, no tardará. | 3 Die Weissagung wird ja noch erfüllt werden zu ihrer Zeit und wird endlich frei an den Tag kommen und nicht trügen. Wenn sie sich auch hinzieht, so harre ihrer; sie wird gewiß kommen und nicht ausbleiben. |

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
| 4 He aquí que aquel cuya alma no es recta, se enorgullece; mas el justo por su fe vivirá. | 4 Siehe, wer halsstarrig ist, der wird keine Ruhe in seinem Herzen haben, der Gerechte aber wird durch seinen Glauben leben. |

Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
| 5 Y también, el que es dado al vino es traicionero, hombre soberbio, que no permanecerá; ensanchó como el Seol su alma, y es como la muerte, que no se saciará; antes reunió para sí todas las gentes, y juntó para sí todos los pueblos. | 5 So wird auch der treulose Tyrann keinen Erfolg haben, der stolze Mann nicht bleiben, der seinen Rachen aufsperrt wie das Reich des Todes und ist wie der Tod, der nicht zu sättigen ist: Er rafft an sich alle Heiden und sammelt zu sich alle Völker. |

Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
| 6 żNo han de levantar todos éstos refrán sobre él, y sarcasmos contra él? Dirán: ˇAy del que multiplicó lo que no era suyo! żHasta cuándo había de acumular sobre sí prenda tras prenda? | 6 Was gilt's aber? Diese alle werden einen Spruch über ihn machen und ein Lied und ein Sprichwort sagen: WEH DEM, der sein Gut mehrt mit fremdem Gut - wie lange wird's währen? - und häuft viel Pfänder bei sich auf! |

Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
| 7 żNo se levantarán de repente tus deudores, y se despertarán los que te harán temblar, y serás despojo para ellos? | 7 Wie plötzlich werden aufstehen, die dich beißen, und erwachen, die dich peinigen! Und du mußt ihnen zum Raube werden. |

Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
| 8 Por cuanto tú has despojado a muchas naciones, todos los otros pueblos te despojarán, a causa de la sangre de los hombres, y de los robos de la tierra, de las ciudades y de todos los que habitan en ellas. | 8 Denn du hast viele Völker beraubt. So werden dich wieder berauben alle übrigen Völker um des Menschenblutes willen und um des Frevels willen, begangen am Lande und an der Stadt und an allen, die darin wohnen. |

Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
| 9 ˇAy del que codicia injusta ganancia para su casa, para poner en alto su nido, para escaparse del poder del mal! | 9 WEH DEM, der unrechten Gewinn macht zum Unglück seines Hauses, auf daß er sein Nest in der Höhe baue, um dem Unheil zu entrinnen! |

Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
| 10 Tomaste consejo vergonzoso para tu casa, asolaste muchos pueblos, y has pecado contra tu vida. | 10 Aber dein Ratschlag wird zur Schande deines Hauses geraten; denn du hast zu viele Völker zerschlagen und damit gegen dein Leben gesündigt. |

For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
| 11 Porque la piedra clamará desde el muro, y la tabla del enmaderado le responderá. | 11 Denn auch die Steine in der Mauer werden schreien, und die Sparren am Gebälk werden ihnen antworten. |

Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!
| 12 ˇAy del que edifica la ciudad con sangre, y del que funda una ciudad con iniquidad! | 12 WEH DEM, der die Stadt mit Blut baut und richtet die Burg auf mit Unrecht! |

Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
| 13 żNo es esto de Jehová de los ejércitos? Los pueblos, pues, trabajarán para el fuego, y las naciones se fatigarán en vano. | 13 Wird's nicht so vom HERRN Zebaoth geschehen: Woran die Völker sich abgearbeitet haben, muß mit Feuer verbrennen, und wofür die Leute sich müde gemacht haben, das muß verloren sein?a - |

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
| 14 Porque la tierra será llena del conocimiento de la gloria de Jehová, como las aguas cubren el mar. | 14 Denn die Erde wird voll werden von Erkenntnis der Ehre des HERRN, wie Wasser das Meer bedeckt. |

Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
| 15 ˇAy del que da de beber a su prójimo! ˇAy de ti, que le acercas tu hiel, y le embriagas para mirar su desnudez! | 15 WEH DEM, der seinen Nächsten trinken läßt und seinen Grimm beimischt und ihn trunken macht, daß er seine Blöße sehe! |

Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
| 16 Te has llenado de deshonra más que de honra; bebe tú también, y serás descubierto; el cáliz de la mano derecha de Jehová vendrá hasta ti, y vómito de afrenta sobre tu gloria. | 16 Du hast dich gesättigt mit Schande und nicht mit Ehre. So trinke du nun auch, daß du taumelst! Denn an dich wird kommen der Kelch in der Rechten des HERRN, und du wirst Schande haben statt Ehre. |

For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
| 17 Porque la rapińa del Líbano caerá sobre ti, y la destrucción de las fieras te quebrantará, a causa de la sangre de los hombres, y del robo de la tierra, de las ciudades y de todos los que en ellas habitaban. | 17 Denn der Frevel, den du am Libanon begangen, wird über dich kommen, und die vernichteten Tiere werden dich schrecken um des Menschenblutes willen und um des Frevels willen, begangen am Lande und an der Stadt und an allen, die darin wohnen. |

What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
| 18 żDe qué sirve la escultura que esculpió el que la hizo? żla estatua de fundición que enseńa mentira, para que haciendo imágenes mudas confíe el hacedor en su obra? | 18 Was wird dann das Bild helfen, das sein Meister gebildet hat, und das gegossene Bild, das da Lügen lehrt? Dennoch verläßt sich sein Meister darauf, obgleich er nur stumme Götzen macht. |

Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
| 19 ˇAy del que dice al palo: Despiértate; y a la piedra muda: Levántate! żPodrá él enseńar? He aquí está cubierto de oro y plata, y no hay espíritu dentro de él. | 19 WEH DEM, der zum Holz spricht: "Wach auf!" und zum stummen Steine: "Steh auf!" Wie sollte ein Götze lehren können? Siehe, er ist mit Gold und Silber überzogen, und kein Odem ist in ihm. |

But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him. | 20 Mas Jehová está en su santo templo; calle delante de él toda la tierra. | 20 Aber der HERR ist in seinem heiligen Tempel. Es sei vor ihm stille alle Welt! |
