He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
| 2 Y he aquí que seis varones venían del camino de la puerta de arriba que mira hacia el norte, y cada uno traía en su mano su instrumento para destruir. Y entre ellos había un varón vestido de lino, el cual traía a su cintura un tintero de escribano; y entrados, se pararon junto al altar de bronce. | 2 Und siehe, da kamen sechs Männer auf dem Wege vom oberen Tor her, das gegen Norden liegt, und jeder hatte ein Werkzeug zum Zerschlagen in seiner Hand. Aber es war einer unter ihnen, der hatte ein Kleid von Leinwand an und ein Schreibzeug an seiner Seite. Und sie kamen heran und traten neben den kupfernen Altar. |

And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
| 3 Y la gloria del Dios de Israel se elevó de encima del querubín, sobre el cual había estado, al umbral de la casa; y llamó Jehová al varón vestido de lino, que tenía a su cintura el tintero de escribano, | 3 Und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels erhob sich von dem Cherub, über dem sie war, zu der Schwelle des Tempels am Hause, und der HERR rief dem, der das Kleid von Leinwand anhatte und das Schreibzeug an seiner Seite, |

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
| 4 y le dijo Jehová: Pasa por en medio de la ciudad, por en medio de Jerusalén, y ponles una señal en la frente a los hombres que gimen y que claman a causa de todas las abominaciones que se hacen en medio de ella. | 4 und sprach zu ihm: Geh durch die Stadt Jerusalem und zeichne mit einem Zeichen an der Stirn die Leute, die da seufzen und jammern über alle Greuel, die darin geschehen. |

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
| 5 Y a los otros dijo, oyéndolo yo: Pasad por la ciudad en pos de él, y matad; no perdone vuestro ojo, ni tengáis misericordia. | 5 Zu den andern Männern aber sprach er, so daß ich es hörte: Geht ihm nach durch die Stadt und schlagt drein; eure Augen sollen ohne Mitleid blicken und keinen verschonen. |

Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
| 6 Matad a viejos, jóvenes y vírgenes, niños y mujeres, hasta que no quede ninguno; pero a todo aquel sobre el cual hubiere señal, no os acercaréis; y comenzaréis por mi santuario. Comenzaron, pues, desde los varones ancianos que estaban delante del templo. | 6 Erschlagt Alte, Jünglinge, Jungfrauen, Kinder und Frauen, schlagt alle tot; aber die das Zeichen an sich haben, von denen sollt ihr keinen anrühren. Fangt aber an bei meinem Heiligtum! Und sie fingen an bei den Ältesten, die vor dem Tempel waren. |

And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
| 7 Y les dijo: Contaminad la casa, y llenad los atrios de muertos; salid. Y salieron, y mataron en la ciudad. | 7 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Macht den Tempel unrein, füllt die Vorhöfe mit Erschlagenen; dann geht hinaus! Und sie gingen hinaus und erschlugen die Leute in der Stadt. |

And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
| 8 Aconteció que cuando ellos iban matando y quedé yo solo, me postré sobre mi rostro, y clamé y dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿destruirás a todo el remanente de Israel derramando tu furor sobre Jerusalén? | 8 Und als sie die erschlagen hatten, war ich noch übrig. Und ich fiel auf mein Angesicht, schrie und sprach: Ach, Herr HERR, willst du denn den ganzen Rest Israels verderben, daß du deinen Zorn so ausschüttest über Jerusalem? |

Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
| 9 Y me dijo: La maldad de la casa de Israel y de Judá es grande sobremanera, pues la tierra está llena de sangre, y la ciudad está llena de perversidad; porque han dicho: Ha abandonado Jehová la tierra, y Jehová no ve. | 9 Und er sprach zu mir: Die Missetat des Hauses Israel und Juda ist allzu groß; es ist lauter Blutschuld im Lande und lauter Unrecht in der Stadt. Denn sie sprechen: Der HERR hat das Land verlassen, der HERR sieht uns nicht. |

And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
| 10 Así, pues, haré yo; mi ojo no perdonará, ni tendré misericordia; haré recaer el camino de ellos sobre sus propias cabezas. | 10 Darum soll mein Auge ohne Mitleid auf sie blicken, ich will auch nicht gnädig sein, sondern will ihr Tun auf ihren Kopf kommen lassen. |

And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me. | 11 Y he aquí que el varón vestido de lino, que tenía el tintero a su cintura, respondió una palabra, diciendo: He hecho conforme a todo lo que me mandaste. | 11 Und siehe, der Mann, der das Kleid von Leinwand anhatte und das Schreibzeug an seiner Seite, antwortete und sprach: Ich habe getan, wie du mir geboten hast. |
