And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
| 1 Después Moisés y Aarón entraron a la presencia de Faraón y le dijeron: Jehová el Dios de Israel dice así: Deja ir a mi pueblo a celebrarme fiesta en el desierto. | 1 Danach gingen Mose und Aaron hin und sprachen zum Pharao: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Laß mein Volk ziehen, daß es mir ein Fest halte in der Wüste. |

And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
| 2 Y Faraón respondió: ¿Quién es Jehová, para que yo oiga su voz y deje ir a Israel? Yo no conozco a Jehová, ni tampoco dejaré ir a Israel. | 2 Der Pharao antwortete: Wer ist der HERR, daß ich ihm gehorchen müsse und Israel ziehen lasse? Ich weiß nichts von dem HERRN, will auch Israel nicht ziehen lassen. |

And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.
| 3 Y ellos dijeron: El Dios de los hebreos nos ha encontrado; iremos, pues, ahora, camino de tres días por el desierto, y ofreceremos sacrificios a Jehová nuestro Dios, para que no venga sobre nosotros con peste o con espada. | 3 Sie sprachen: Der Gott der Hebräer ist uns erschienen. So laß uns nun hinziehen drei Tagereisen weit in die Wüste und dem HERRN, unserm Gott, opfern, daß er uns nicht schlage mit Pest oder Schwert. |

And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.
| 4 Entonces el rey de Egipto les dijo: Moisés y Aarón, ¿por qué hacéis cesar al pueblo de su trabajo? Volved a vuestras tareas. | 4 Da sprach der König von Ägypten zu ihnen: Mose und Aaron, warum wollt ihr das Volk von seiner Arbeit freimachen? Gehet hin an eure Dienste! |

And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.
| 5 Dijo también Faraón: He aquí el pueblo de la tierra es ahora mucho, y vosotros les hacéis cesar de sus tareas. | 5 Weiter sprach der Pharao: Siehe, sie sind schon mehr als das Volk des Landes, und ihr wollt sie noch feiern lassen von ihrem Dienst! |

And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,
| 6 Y mandó Faraón aquel mismo día a los cuadrilleros del pueblo que lo tenían a su cargo, y a sus capataces, | 6 Darum befahl der Pharao am selben Tage den Vögten des Volks und ihren Aufsehern und sprach: |

Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
| 7 De aquí en adelante no daréis paja al pueblo para hacer ladrillo, como hasta ahora; vayan ellos y recojan por sí mismos la paja. | 7 Ihr sollt dem Volk nicht mehr Häcksel geben, daß sie Ziegel machen, wie bisher; laßt sie selbst hingehen und Stroh dafür zusammenlesen. |

And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
| 8 Y les impondréis la misma tarea de ladrillo que hacían antes, y no les disminuiréis nada; porque están ociosos, por eso levantan la voz diciendo: Vamos y ofrezcamos sacrificios a nuestro Dios. | 8 Aber die Zahl der Ziegel, die sie bisher gemacht haben, sollt ihr ihnen gleichwohl auferlegen und nichts davon ablassen, denn sie gehen müßig; darum schreien sie und sprechen: Wir wollen hinziehen und unserm Gott opfern. |

Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.
| 9 Agrávese la servidumbre sobre ellos, para que se ocupen en ella, y no atiendan a palabras mentirosas. | 9 Man drücke die Leute mit Arbeit, daß sie zu schaffen haben und sich nicht um falsche Reden kümmern. |

And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.
| 10 Y saliendo los cuadrilleros del pueblo y sus capataces, hablaron al pueblo, diciendo: Así ha dicho Faraón: Yo no os doy paja. | 10 Da gingen die Vögte des Volks und ihre Aufseher hinaus und sprachen zum Volk: So spricht der Pharao: Man wird euch kein Häcksel mehr geben. |

Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.
| 11 Id vosotros y recoged la paja donde la halléis; pero nada se disminuirá de vuestra tarea. | 11 Geht ihr selbst hin und beschafft euch Häcksel, wo ihr's findet; aber von eurer Arbeit soll euch nichts erlassen werden. |

So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.
| 12 Entonces el pueblo se esparció por toda la tierra de Egipto para recoger rastrojo en lugar de paja. | 12 Da zerstreute sich das Volk ins ganze Land Ägypten, um Stroh zu sammeln, damit sie Häcksel hätten. |

And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.
| 13 Y los cuadrilleros los apremiaban, diciendo: Acabad vuestra obra, la tarea de cada día en su día, como cuando se os daba paja. | 13 Und die Vögte trieben sie an und sprachen: Erfüllt euer Tagewerk wie damals, als ihr Häcksel hattet. |

And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?
| 14 Y azotaban a los capataces de los hijos de Israel que los cuadrilleros de Faraón habían puesto sobre ellos, diciendo: ¿Por qué no habéis cumplido vuestra tarea de ladrillo ni ayer ni hoy, como antes? | 14 Und die Aufseher aus den Reihen der Israeliten, die die Vögte des Pharao über sie gesetzt hatten, wurden geschlagen, und es wurde zu ihnen gesagt: Warum habt ihr nicht auch heute euer festgesetztes Tagewerk getan wie bisher? |

Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants?
| 15 Y los capataces de los hijos de Israel vinieron a Faraón y se quejaron a él, diciendo: ¿Por qué lo haces así con tus siervos? | 15 Da gingen die Aufseher der Israeliten hin und schrien zu dem Pharao: Warum verfährst du so mit deinen Knechten? |

There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.
| 16 No se da paja a tus siervos, y con todo nos dicen: Haced el ladrillo. Y he aquí tus siervos son azotados, y el pueblo tuyo es el culpable. | 16 Man gibt deinen Knechten kein Häcksel, und wir sollen dennoch die Ziegel machen, die uns bestimmt sind; und siehe, deine Knechte werden geschlagen, und du versündigst dich an deinem Volke. |

But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.
| 17 Y él respondió: Estáis ociosos, sí, ociosos, y por eso decís: Vamos y ofrezcamos sacrificios a Jehová. | 17 Der Pharao sprach: Ihr seid müßig, müßig seid ihr; darum sprecht ihr: Wir wollen hinziehen und dem HERRN opfern. |

Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.
| 18 Id pues, ahora, y trabajad. No se os dará paja, y habéis de entregar la misma tarea de ladrillo. | 18 So geht nun hin und tut euren Frondienst! Häcksel soll man euch nicht geben, aber die Anzahl Ziegel sollt ihr schaffen. |

And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.
| 19 Entonces los capataces de los hijos de Israel se vieron en aflicción, al decírseles: No se disminuirá nada de vuestro ladrillo, de la tarea de cada día. | 19 Da sahen die Aufseher der Israeliten, daß es mit ihnen übel stand, weil man sagte: Ihr sollt nichts ablassen von dem Tagewerk an Ziegeln. |

And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:
| 20 Y encontrando a Moisés y a Aarón, que estaban a la vista de ellos cuando salían de la presencia de Faraón, | 20 Und als sie von dem Pharao weggingen, begegneten sie Mose und Aaron, die dastanden und auf sie warteten, |

And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
| 21 les dijeron: Mire Jehová sobre vosotros, y juzgue; pues nos habéis hecho abominables delante de Faraón y de sus siervos, poniéndoles la espada en la mano para que nos maten. | 21 und sprachen zu ihnen: Der HERR richte seine Augen wider euch und strafe es, daß ihr uns in Verruf gebracht habt vor dem Pharao und seinen Großen und habt ihnen so das Schwert in ihre Hände gegeben, uns zu töten. |

And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
| 22 Entonces Moisés se volvió a Jehová, y dijo: Señor, ¿por qué afliges a este pueblo? ¿Para qué me enviaste? | 22 Mose aber kam wieder zu dem HERRN und sprach: Herr, warum tust du so übel an diesem Volk? Warum hast du mich hergesandt? |

For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all. | 23 Porque desde que yo vine a Faraón para hablarle en tu nombre, ha afligido a este pueblo; y tú no has librado a tu pueblo. | 23 Denn seitdem ich hingegangen bin zum Pharao, um mit ihm zu reden in deinem Namen, hat er das Volk noch härter geplagt, und du hast dein Volk nicht errettet. |
