And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
| 1 Viendo el pueblo que Moisés tardaba en descender del monte, se acercaron entonces a Aarón, y le dijeron: Levántate, haznos dioses que vayan delante de nosotros; porque a este Moisés, el varón que nos sacó de la tierra de Egipto, no sabemos qué le haya acontecido. | 1 Als aber das Volk sah, daß Mose ausblieb und nicht wieder von dem Berge zurückkam, sammelte es sich gegen Aaron und sprach zu ihm: Auf, mach uns einen Gott, der vor uns hergehe! Denn wir wissen nicht, was diesem Mann Mose widerfahren ist, der uns aus Ägyptenland geführt hat. |

And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
| 2 Y Aarón les dijo: Apartad los zarcillos de oro que están en las orejas de vuestras mujeres, de vuestros hijos y de vuestras hijas, y traédmelos. | 2 Aaron sprach zu ihnen: Reißet ab die goldenen Ohrringe an den Ohren eurer Frauen, eurer Söhne und eurer Töchter und bringt sie zu mir. |

And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
| 3 Entonces todo el pueblo apartó los zarcillos de oro que tenían en sus orejas, y los trajeron a Aarón; | 3 Da riß alles Volk sich die goldenen Ohrringe von den Ohren und brachte sie zu Aaron. |

And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
| 4 y él los tomó de las manos de ellos, y le dio forma con buril, e hizo de ello un becerro de fundición. Entonces dijeron: Israel, estos son tus dioses, que te sacaron de la tierra de Egipto. | 4 Und er nahm sie von ihren Händen und bildete das Gold in einer Form und machte ein gegossenes Kalb. Und sie sprachen: Das ist dein Gott, Israel, der dich aus Ägyptenland geführt hat! |

And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.
| 5 Y viendo esto Aarón, edificó un altar delante del becerro; y pregonó Aarón, y dijo: Mañana será fiesta para Jehová. | 5 Als das Aaron sah, baute er einen Altar vor ihm und ließ ausrufen und sprach: Morgen ist des HERRN Fest. |

And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
| 6 Y al día siguiente madrugaron, y ofrecieron holocaustos, y presentaron ofrendas de paz; y se sentó el pueblo a comer y a beber, y se levantó a regocijarse. | 6 Und sie standen früh am Morgen auf und opferten Brandopfer und brachten dazu Dankopfer dar. Danach setzte sich das Volk, um zu essen und zu trinken, und sie standen auf, um ihre Lust zu treiben. |

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
| 7 Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: Anda, desciende, porque tu pueblo que sacaste de la tierra de Egipto se ha corrompido. | 7 Der HERR sprach aber zu Mose: Geh, steig hinab; denn dein Volk, das du aus Ägyptenland geführt hast, hat schändlich gehandelt. |

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
| 8 Pronto se han apartado del camino que yo les mandé; se han hecho un becerro de fundición, y lo han adorado, y le han ofrecido sacrificios, y han dicho: Israel, estos son tus dioses, que te sacaron de la tierra de Egipto. | 8 Sie sind schnell von dem Wege gewichen, den ich ihnen geboten habe. Sie haben sich ein gegossenes Kalb gemacht und haben's angebetet und ihm geopfert und gesagt: Das ist dein Gott, Israel, der dich aus Ägyptenland geführt hat. |

And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
| 9 Dijo más Jehová a Moisés: Yo he visto a este pueblo, que por cierto es pueblo de dura cerviz. | 9 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Ich sehe, daß es ein halsstarriges Volk ist. |

Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
| 10 Ahora, pues, déjame que se encienda mi ira en ellos, y los consuma; y de ti yo haré una nación grande. | 10 Und nun laß mich, daß mein Zorn über sie entbrenne und sie vertilge; dafür will ich dich zum großen Volk machen. |

And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
| 11 Entonces Moisés oró en presencia de Jehová su Dios, y dijo: Oh Jehová, ¿por qué se encenderá tu furor contra tu pueblo, que tú sacaste de la tierra de Egipto con gran poder y con mano fuerte? | 11 Mose aber flehte vor dem HERRN, seinem Gott, und sprach: Ach, HERR, warum will dein Zorn entbrennen über dein Volk, das du mit großer Kraft und starker Hand aus Ägyptenland geführt hast? |

Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.
| 12 ¿Por qué han de hablar los egipcios, diciendo: Para mal los sacó, para matarlos en los montes, y para raerlos de sobre la faz de la tierra? Vuélvete del ardor de tu ira, y arrepiéntete de este mal contra tu pueblo. | 12 Warum sollen die Ägypter sagen: Er hat sie zu ihrem Unglück herausgeführt, daß er sie umbrächte im Gebirge und vertilgte sie von dem Erdboden? Kehre dich ab von deinem grimmigen Zorn und laß dich des Unheils gereuen, das du über dein Volk bringen willst. |

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
| 13 Acuérdate de Abraham, de Isaac y de Israel tus siervos, a los cuales has jurado por ti mismo, y les has dicho: Yo multiplicaré vuestra descendencia como las estrellas del cielo; y daré a vuestra descendencia toda esta tierra de que he hablado, y la tomarán por heredad para siempre. | 13 Gedenke an deine Knechte Abraham, Isaak und Israel, denen du bei dir selbst geschworen und verheißen hast: Ich will eure Nachkommen mehren wie die Sterne am Himmel, und dies ganze Land, das ich verheißen habe, will ich euren Nachkommen geben, und sie sollen es besitzen für ewig. |

And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
| 14 Entonces Jehová se arrepintió del mal que dijo que había de hacer a su pueblo. | 14 Da gereute den HERRN das Unheil, das er seinem Volk zugedacht hatte. |

And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
| 15 Y volvió Moisés y descendió del monte, trayendo en su mano las dos tablas del testimonio, las tablas escritas por ambos lados; de uno y otro lado estaban escritas. | 15 Mose wandte sich und stieg vom Berge und hatte die zwei Tafeln des Gesetzes in seiner Hand; die waren beschrieben auf beiden Seiten. |

And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
| 16 Y las tablas eran obra de Dios, y la escritura era escritura de Dios grabada sobre las tablas. | 16 Und Gott hatte sie selbst gemacht und selber die Schrift eingegraben. |

And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
| 17 Cuando oyó Josué el clamor del pueblo que gritaba, dijo a Moisés: Alarido de pelea hay en el campamento. | 17 Als nun Josua das Geschrei des Volks hörte, sprach er zu Mose: Es ist ein Kriegsgeschrei im Lager. |

And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
| 18 Y él respondió: No es voz de alaridos de fuertes, ni voz de alaridos de débiles; voz de cantar oigo yo. | 18 Er antwortete: Es ist kein Geschrei wie bei einem Sieg, und es ist kein Geschrei wie bei einer Niederlage, ich höre Geschrei wie beim Tanz. |

And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
| 19 Y aconteció que cuando él llegó al campamento, y vio el becerro y las danzas, ardió la ira de Moisés, y arrojó las tablas de sus manos, y las quebró al pie del monte. | 19 Als Mose aber nahe zum Lager kam und das Kalb und das Tanzen sah, entbrannte sein Zorn, und er warf die Tafeln aus der Hand und zerbrach sie unten am Berge |

And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
| 20 Y tomó el becerro que habían hecho, y lo quemó en el fuego, y lo molió hasta reducirlo a polvo, que esparció sobre las aguas, y lo dio a beber a los hijos de Israel. | 20 und nahm das Kalb, das sie gemacht hatten, und ließ es im Feuer zerschmelzen und zermalmte es zu Pulver und streute es aufs Wasser und gab's den Israeliten zu trinken. |

And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
| 21 Y dijo Moisés a Aarón: ¿Qué te ha hecho este pueblo, que has traído sobre él tan gran pecado? | 21 Und er sprach zu Aaron: Was hat dir das Volk getan, daß du eine so große Sünde über sie gebracht hast? |

And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
| 22 Y respondió Aarón: No se enoje mi señor; tú conoces al pueblo, que es inclinado a mal. | 22 Aaron sprach: Mein Herr lasse seinen Zorn nicht entbrennen. Du weißt, daß dies Volk böse ist. |

For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
| 24 Y yo les respondí: ¿Quién tiene oro? Apartadlo. Y me lo dieron, y lo eché en el fuego, y salió este becerro. | 24 Ich sprach zu ihnen: Wer Gold hat, der reiße es ab und gebe es mir. Und ich warf es ins Feuer; daraus ist das Kalb geworden. |

And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
| 25 Y viendo Moisés que el pueblo estaba desenfrenado, porque Aarón lo había permitido, para vergüenza entre sus enemigos, | 25 Als nun Mose sah, daß das Volk zuchtlos geworden war - denn Aaron hatte sie zuchtlos werden lassen zum Gespött ihrer Widersacher -, |

Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
| 26 se puso Moisés a la puerta del campamento, y dijo: ¿Quién está por Jehová? Júntese conmigo. Y se juntaron con él todos los hijos de Leví. | 26 trat er in das Tor des Lagers und rief: Her zu mir, wer dem HERRN angehört! Da sammelten sich zu ihm alle Söhne Levi. |

And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
| 27 Y él les dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová, el Dios de Israel: Poned cada uno su espada sobre su muslo; pasad y volved de puerta a puerta por el campamento, y matad cada uno a su hermano, y a su amigo, y a su pariente. | 27 Und er sprach zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Ein jeder gürte sein Schwert um die Lenden und gehe durch das Lager hin und her von einem Tor zum andern und erschlage seinen Bruder, Freund und Nächsten. |

And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
| 28 Y los hijos de Leví lo hicieron conforme al dicho de Moisés; y cayeron del pueblo en aquel día como tres mil hombres. | 28 Die Söhne Levi taten, wie ihnen Mose gesagt hatte; und es fielen an dem Tage vom Volk dreitausend Mann. |

For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
| 29 Entonces Moisés dijo: Hoy os habéis consagrado a Jehová, pues cada uno se ha consagrado en su hijo y en su hermano, para que él dé bendición hoy sobre vosotros. | 29 Da sprach Mose: Füllet heute eure Hände zum Dienst für den HERRN - denn ein jeder ist wider seinen Sohn und Bruder gewesen -, damit euch heute Segen gegeben werde. |

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
| 30 Y aconteció que al día siguiente dijo Moisés al pueblo: Vosotros habéis cometido un gran pecado, pero yo subiré ahora a Jehová; quizá le aplacaré acerca de vuestro pecado. | 30 Am nächsten Morgen sprach Mose zum Volk: Ihr habt eine große Sünde getan; nun will ich hinaufsteigen zu dem HERRN, ob ich vielleicht Vergebung erwirken kann für eure Sünde. |

And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
| 31 Entonces volvió Moisés a Jehová, y dijo: Te ruego, pues este pueblo ha cometido un gran pecado, porque se hicieron dioses de oro, | 31 Als nun Mose wieder zu dem HERRN kam, sprach er: Ach, das Volk hat eine große Sünde getan, und sie haben sich einen Gott von Gold gemacht. |

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
| 32 que perdones ahora su pecado, y si no, ráeme ahora de tu libro que has escrito. | 32 Vergib ihnen doch ihre Sünde; wenn nicht, dann tilge mich aus deinem Buch, das du geschrieben hast. |

And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
| 33 Y Jehová respondió a Moisés: Al que pecare contra mí, a éste raeré yo de mi libro. | 33 Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Ich will den aus meinem Buch tilgen, der an mir sündigt. |

Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
| 34 Ve, pues, ahora, lleva a este pueblo a donde te he dicho; he aquí mi ángel irá delante de ti; pero en el día del castigo, yo castigaré en ellos su pecado. | 34 So geh nun hin und führe das Volk, wohin ich dir gesagt habe. Siehe, mein Engel soll vor dir hergehen. Ich werde aber ihre Sünde heimsuchen, wenn meine Zeit kommt. |

And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made. | 35 Y Jehová hirió al pueblo, porque habían hecho el becerro que formó Aarón. | 35 Und der HERR schlug das Volk, weil sie sich das Kalb gemacht hatten, das Aaron angefertigt hatte. |
