If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.

If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
| 5 Si alguno hiciere pastar en campo o viña, y metiere su bestia en campo de otro, de lo mejor de su campo y de lo mejor de su viña pagará. | 5 Wenn ein Feuer ausbricht und ergreift die Dornen und verbrennt einen Garbenhaufen oder das Getreide, das noch steht, oder den Acker, so soll Ersatz leisten, wer das Feuer angezündet hat. |

If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.

If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
| 7 Cuando alguno diere a su prójimo plata o alhajas a guardar, y fuere hurtado de la casa de aquel hombre, si el ladrón fuere hallado, pagará el doble. | 7 findet man aber den Dieb nicht, so soll der Herr des Hauses vor Gott treten, ob er nicht etwa seine Hand an seines Nächsten Habe gelegt hat. |

If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbour's goods.
| 8 Si el ladrón no fuere hallado, entonces el dueño de la casa será presentado a los jueces, para que se vea si ha metido su mano en los bienes de su prójimo. | 8 Wenn einer den andern einer Veruntreuung beschuldigt, es handle sich um Rind oder Esel oder Schaf oder Kleider oder um etwas, was sonst noch verloren gegangen ist, so soll beider Sache vor Gott kommen. Wen Gott für schuldig erklärt, der soll's seinem Nächsten zweifach erstatten. |

For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
| 9 En toda clase de fraude, sobre buey, sobre asno, sobre oveja, sobre vestido, sobre toda cosa perdida, cuando alguno dijere: Esto es mío, la causa de ambos vendrá delante de los jueces; y el que los jueces condenaren, pagará el doble a su prójimo. | 9 Wenn jemand seinem Nächsten einen Esel oder ein Rind oder ein Schaf oder irgendein Stück Vieh in Obhut gibt und es stirbt ihm oder kommt zu Schaden oder wird ihm weggetrieben, ohne daß es jemand sieht, |

If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:
| 10 Si alguno hubiere dado a su prójimo asno, o buey, u oveja, o cualquier otro animal a guardar, y éste muriere o fuere estropeado, o fuere llevado sin verlo nadie; | 10 so soll es unter ihnen zum Eid vor dem HERRN kommen, ob er nicht etwa seine Hand an seines Nächsten Habe gelegt hat, und der Besitzer soll es hinnehmen, so daß jener nicht Ersatz zu leisten braucht. |

Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.
| 11 juramento de Jehová habrá entre ambos, de que no metió su mano a los bienes de su prójimo; y su dueño lo aceptará, y el otro no pagará. | 11 Stiehlt es ihm aber ein Dieb, so soll er's dem Besitzer ersetzen. |

And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.
| 13 Y si le hubiere sido arrebatado por fiera, le traerá testimonio, y no pagará lo arrebatado. | 13 Wenn es jemand von seinem Nächsten leiht und es kommt zu Schaden oder stirbt, wenn der Besitzer nicht dabei ist, so soll er's ersetzen. |

And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
| 14 Pero si alguno hubiere tomado prestada bestia de su prójimo, y fuere estropeada o muerta, estando ausente su dueño, deberá pagarla. | 14 Ist aber der Besitzer dabei, soll er's nicht ersetzen. Wenn es gemietet ist, so soll es auf den Mietpreis angerechnet werden. |

But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.

And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.

If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.

He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
| 20 El que ofreciere sacrificio a dioses excepto solamente a Jehová, será muerto. | 20 Die Fremdlinge sollst du nicht bedrängen und bedrücken; denn ihr seid auch Fremdlinge in Ägyptenland gewesen. |

Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
| 24 y mi furor se encenderá, y os mataré a espada, y vuestras mujeres serán viudas, y huérfanos vuestros hijos. | 24 Wenn du Geld verleihst an einen aus meinem Volk, an einen Armen neben dir, so sollst du an ihm nicht wie ein Wucherer handeln; du sollst keinerlei Zinsen von ihm nehmen. |

If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
| 26 Si tomares en prenda el vestido de tu prójimo, a la puesta del sol se lo devolverás. | 26 denn sein Mantel ist seine einzige Decke für seinen Leib; worin soll er sonst schlafen? Wird er aber zu mir schreien, so werde ich ihn erhören; denn ich bin gnädig. |

For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
| 27 Porque sólo eso es su cubierta, es su vestido para cubrir su cuerpo. ¿En qué dormirá? Y cuando él clamare a mí, yo le oiré, porque soy misericordioso. | 27 Gott sollst du nicht lästern, und einem Obersten in deinem Volk sollst du nicht fluchen. |

Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.
| 28 No injuriarás a los jueces, ni maldecirás al príncipe de tu pueblo. | 28 Den Ertrag deines Feldes und den Überfluß deines Weinberges sollst du nicht zurückhalten. b Deinen ersten Sohn sollst du mir geben. |

Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
| 29 No demorarás la primicia de tu cosecha ni de tu lagar.

Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
