And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
| 1 Toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel partió del desierto de Sin por sus jornadas, conforme al mandamiento de Jehová, y acamparon en Refidim; y no había agua para que el pueblo bebiese. | 1 Und die ganze Gemeinde der Israeliten zog aus der Wüste Sin weiter ihre Tagereisen, wie ihnen der HERR befahl, und sie lagerten sich in Refidim. Da hatte das Volk kein Wasser zu trinken. |

Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?
| 2 Y altercó el pueblo con Moisés, y dijeron: Danos agua para que bebamos. Y Moisés les dijo: ¿Por qué altercáis conmigo? ¿Por qué tentáis a Jehová? | 2 Und sie haderten mit Mose und sprachen: Gib uns Wasser, daß wir trinken. Mose sprach zu ihnen: Was hadert ihr mit mir? Warum versucht ihr den HERRN? |

And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
| 3 Así que el pueblo tuvo allí sed, y murmuró contra Moisés, y dijo: ¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto para matarnos de sed a nosotros, a nuestros hijos y a nuestros ganados? | 3 Als aber dort das Volk nach Wasser dürstete, murrten sie wider Mose und sprachen: Warum hast du uns aus Ägypten ziehen lassen, daß du uns, unsere Kinder und unser Vieh vor Durst sterben läßt? |

And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
| 4 Entonces clamó Moisés a Jehová, diciendo: ¿Qué haré con este pueblo? De aquí a un poco me apedrearán. | 4 Mose schrie zum HERRN und sprach: Was soll ich mit dem Volk tun? Es fehlt nicht viel, so werden sie mich noch steinigen. |

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
| 5 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Pasa delante del pueblo, y toma contigo de los ancianos de Israel; y toma también en tu mano tu vara con que golpeaste el río, y ve. | 5 Der HERR sprach zu ihm: Tritt hin vor das Volk und nimm einige von den Ältesten Israels mit dir und nimm deinen Stab in deine Hand, mit dem du den Nil schlugst, und geh hin. |

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
| 6 He aquí que yo estaré delante de ti allí sobre la peña en Horeb; y golpearás la peña, y saldrán de ella aguas, y beberá el pueblo. Y Moisés lo hizo así en presencia de los ancianos de Israel. | 6 Siehe, ich will dort vor dir stehen auf dem Fels am Horeb. Da sollst du an den Fels schlagen, so wird Wasser herauslaufen, daß das Volk trinke. Und Mose tat so vor den Augen der Ältesten von Israel. |

And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
| 7 Y llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Masah y Meriba, por la rencilla de los hijos de Israel, y porque tentaron a Jehová, diciendo: ¿Está, pues, Jehová entre nosotros, o no? | 7 Da nannte er den Ort Massa und Meriba, weil die Israeliten dort gehadert und den HERRN versucht und gesagt hatten: Ist der HERR unter uns oder nicht? |

Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
| 8 Entonces vino Amalec y peleó contra Israel en Refidim. | 8 Da kam Amalek und kämpfte gegen Israel in Refidim. |

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
| 9 Y dijo Moisés a Josué: Escógenos varones, y sal a pelear contra Amalec; mañana yo estaré sobre la cumbre del collado, y la vara de Dios en mi mano. | 9 Da sprach Mose zu Josua: Erwähle uns Männer, zieh aus und kämpfe gegen Amalek. Morgen will ich oben auf dem Hügel stehen mit dem Stab Gottes in meiner Hand. |

So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
| 10 E hizo Josué como le dijo Moisés, peleando contra Amalec; y Moisés y Aarón y Hur subieron a la cumbre del collado. | 10 Und Josua tat, wie Mose ihm sagte, und kämpfte gegen Amalek. Mose aber und Aaron und Hur gingen auf die Höhe des Hügels. |

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
| 11 Y sucedía que cuando alzaba Moisés su mano, Israel prevalecía; mas cuando él bajaba su mano, prevalecía Amalec. | 11 Und wenn Mose seine Hand emporhielt, siegte Israel; wenn er aber seine Hand sinken ließ, siegte Amalek. |

But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
| 12 Y las manos de Moisés se cansaban; por lo que tomaron una piedra, y la pusieron debajo de él, y se sentó sobre ella; y Aarón y Hur sostenían sus manos, el uno de un lado y el otro de otro; así hubo en sus manos firmeza hasta que se puso el sol. | 12 Aber Mose wurden die Hände schwer; darum nahmen die beiden einen Stein und legten ihn hin, daß er sich daraufsetzte. Aaron aber und Hur stützten ihm die Hände, auf jeder Seite einer. So blieben seine Hände erhoben, bis die Sonne unterging. |

And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
| 13 Y Josué deshizo a Amalec y a su pueblo a filo de espada. | 13 Und Josua überwältigte Amalek und sein Volk durch des Schwertes Schärfe. |

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
| 14 Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Escribe esto para memoria en un libro, y di a Josué que raeré del todo la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo. | 14 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Schreibe dies zum Gedächtnis in ein Buch und präge es Josua ein; denn ich will Amalek unter dem Himmel austilgen, daß man seiner nicht mehr gedenke. |

And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi:
| 15 Y Moisés edificó un altar, y llamó su nombre Jehová- nisi; | 15 Und Mose baute einen Altar und nannte ihn: Der HERR mein Feldzeichen. |

For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. | 16 y dijo: Por cuanto la mano de Amalec se levantó contra el trono de Jehová, Jehová tendrá guerra con Amalec de generación en generación. | 16 Und er sprach: Die Hand an den Thron des HERRN! Der HERR führt Krieg gegen Amalek von Kind zu Kindeskind. |
