Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
| 1 Aconteció que al tercer día se vistió Ester su vestido real, y entró en el patio interior de la casa del rey, enfrente del aposento del rey; y estaba el rey sentado en su trono en el aposento real, enfrente de la puerta del aposento. | 1 Und am dritten Tage zog sich Ester königlich an und trat in den inneren Hof am Palast des Königs gegenüber dem Palast des Königs. Und der König saß auf seinem königlichen Thron im königlichen Saale gegenüber dem Tor des Palastes. |

And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
| 2 Y cuando vio a la reina Ester que estaba en el patio, ella obtuvo gracia ante sus ojos; y el rey extendió a Ester el cetro de oro que tenía en la mano. Entonces vino Ester y tocó la punta del cetro. | 2 Und als der König die Königin Ester im Hofe stehen sah, fand sie Gnade vor seinen Augen. Und der König streckte das goldene Zepter in seiner Hand gegen Ester aus. Da trat Ester herzu und rührte die Spitze des Zepters an. |

Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
| 3 Dijo el rey: ¿Qué tienes, reina Ester, y cuál es tu petición? Hasta la mitad del reino se te dará. | 3 Da sprach der König zu ihr: Was hast du, Ester, Königin? Und was begehrst du? Auch die Hälfte des Königreichs soll dir gegeben werden. |

And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
| 4 Y Ester dijo: Si place al rey, vengan hoy el rey y Amán al banquete que he preparado para el rey. | 4 Ester sprach: Gefällt es dem König, so komme der König mit Haman heute zu dem Mahl, das ich bereitet habe. |

Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
| 5 Respondió el rey: Daos prisa, llamad a Amán, para hacer lo que Ester ha dicho. Vino, pues, el rey con Amán al banquete que Ester dispuso. | 5 Der König sprach: Eilt und holt Haman, damit geschehe, was Ester gesagt hat! Als nun der König und Haman zu dem Mahl kamen, das Ester bereitet hatte, |

And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
| 6 Y dijo el rey a Ester en el banquete, mientras bebían vino: ¿Cuál es tu petición, y te será otorgada? ¿Cuál es tu demanda? Aunque sea la mitad del reino, te será concedida. | 6 sprach der König zu Ester, als er Wein getrunken hatte: Was bittest du, Ester? Es soll dir gegeben werden. Und was begehrst du? Wäre es auch die Hälfte des Königreichs, es soll geschehen. |

Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is;

If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
| 8 Si he hallado gracia ante los ojos del rey, y si place al rey otorgar mi petición y conceder mi demanda, que venga el rey con Amán a otro banquete que les prepararé; y mañana haré conforme a lo que el rey ha mandado. | 8 Hab ich Gnade gefunden vor dem König und gefällt es dem König, meine Bitte zu gewähren und zu tun nach meinem Begehren, so komme der König mit Haman zu dem Mahl, das ich für sie bereiten will. Morgen will ich dann tun, was der König gesagt hat. |

Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.
| 9 Y salió Amán aquel día contento y alegre de corazón; pero cuando vio a Mardoqueo a la puerta del palacio del rey, que no se levantaba ni se movía de su lugar, se llenó de ira contra Mardoqueo. | 9 Da ging Haman an dem Tage hinaus fröhlich und guten Mutes. Aber als er Mordechai im Tor des Königs sah, wie er nicht aufstand und sich nicht vor ihm fürchtete, wurde er voll Zorn über Mordechai. |

Nevertheless Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife.

And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.
| 11 y les refirió Amán la gloria de sus riquezas, y la multitud de sus hijos, y todas las cosas con que el rey le había engrandecido, y con que le había honrado sobre los príncipes y siervos del rey. | 11 und zählte ihnen auf die Herrlichkeit seines Reichtums und die Menge seiner Söhne und alles, wie ihn der König so groß gemacht habe, und daß er über die Fürsten und Großen des Königs erhoben sei. |

Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.
| 12 Y añadió Amán: También la reina Ester a ninguno hizo venir con el rey al banquete que ella dispuso, sino a mí; y también para mañana estoy convidado por ella con el rey. | 12 Auch sprach Haman: Und die Königin Ester hat niemand kommen lassen mit dem König zum Mahl, das sie bereitet hat, als nur mich, und auch morgen bin ich zu ihr geladen mit dem König. |

Yet all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate.
| 13 Pero todo esto de nada me sirve cada vez que veo al judío Mardoqueo sentado a la puerta del rey. | 13 Aber das alles ist mir nicht genug, solange ich den Juden Mordechai sitzen sehe im Tor des Königs. |

Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made. | 14 Y le dijo Zeres su mujer y todos sus amigos: Hagan una horca de cincuenta codos de altura, y mañana di al rey que cuelguen a Mardoqueo en ella; y entra alegre con el rey al banquete. Y agradó esto a los ojos de Amán, e hizo preparar la horca. | 14 Da sprachen zu ihm seine Frau Seresch und alle seine Freunde: Man mache einen Galgen, fünfzig Ellen hoch, und morgen früh sage dem König, daß man Mordechai daran aufhänge. Dann geh du mit dem König fröhlich zum Mahl. Das gefiel Haman gut, und er ließ einen Galgen aufrichten. |
