Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
| 1 Estos, pues, son los mandamientos, estatutos y decretos que Jehová vuestro Dios mandó que os enseñase, para que los pongáis por obra en la tierra a la cual pasáis vosotros para tomarla; | 1 Dies sind die Gesetze und Gebote und Rechte, die der HERR, euer Gott, geboten hat, daß ihr sie lernen und tun sollt in dem Lande, in das ihr zieht, es einzunehmen, |

That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
| 2 para que temas a Jehová tu Dios, guardando todos sus estatutos y sus mandamientos que yo te mando, tú, tu hijo, y el hijo de tu hijo, todos los días de tu vida, para que tus días sean prolongados. | 2 damit du dein Leben lang den HERRN, deinen Gott, fürchtest und alle seine Rechte und Gebote hältst, die ich dir gebiete, du und deine Kinder und deine Kindeskinder, auf daß du lange lebest. |

Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
| 3 Oye, pues, oh Israel, y cuida de ponerlos por obra, para que te vaya bien en la tierra que fluye leche y miel, y os multipliquéis, como te ha dicho Jehová el Dios de tus padres. | 3 Israel, du sollst es hören und festhalten, daß du es tust, auf daß dir's wohlgehe und du groß an Zahl werdest, wie der HERR, der Gott deiner Väter, dir zugesagt hat, in dem Lande, darin Milch und Honig fließt. |

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
| 4 Oye, Israel: Jehová nuestro Dios, Jehová uno es. | 4 Höre, Israel, der HERR ist unser Gott, der HERR allein. |

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
| 5 Y amarás a Jehová tu Dios de todo tu corazón, y de toda tu alma, y con todas tus fuerzas. | 5 Und du sollst den HERRN, deinen Gott, liebhaben von ganzem Herzen, von ganzer Seele und mit all deiner Kraft. |

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
| 6 Y estas palabras que yo te mando hoy, estarán sobre tu corazón; | 6 Und diese Worte, die ich dir heute gebiete, sollst du zu Herzen nehmena |

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
| 7 y las repetirás a tus hijos, y hablarás de ellas estando en tu casa, y andando por el camino, y al acostarte, y cuando te levantes. | 7 und sollst sie deinen Kindern einschärfen und davon reden, wenn du in deinem Hause sitzt oder unterwegs bist, wenn du dich niederlegst oder aufstehst. |

And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
| 8 Y las atarás como una señal en tu mano, y estarán como frontales entre tus ojos; | 8 Und du sollst sie binden zum Zeichen auf deine Hand, und sie sollen dir ein Merkzeichen zwischen deinen Augen sein, |

And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
| 9 y las escribirás en los postes de tu casa, y en tus puertas. | 9 und du sollst sie schreiben auf die Pfosten deines Hauses und an die Tore. |

And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
| 10 Cuando Jehová tu Dios te haya introducido en la tierra que juró a tus padres Abraham, Isaac y Jacob que te daría, en ciudades grandes y buenas que tú no edificaste, | 10 Wenn dich nun der HERR, dein Gott, in das Land bringen wird, von dem er deinen Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen hat, es dir zu geben - große und schöne Städte, die du nicht gebaut hast, |

And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
| 11 y casas llenas de todo bien, que tú no llenaste, y cisternas cavadas que tú no cavaste, viñas y olivares que no plantaste, y luego que comas y te sacies, | 11 und Häuser voller Güter, die du nicht gefüllt hast, und ausgehauene Brunnen, die du nicht ausgehauen hast, und Weinberge und Ölbäume, die du nicht gepflanzt hast -, und wenn du nun ißt und satt wirst, |

Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
| 12 cuídate de no olvidarte de Jehová, que te sacó de la tierra de Egipto, de casa de servidumbre. | 12 so hüte dich, daß du nicht den HERRN vergißt, der dich aus Ägyptenland, aus der Knechtschaft, geführt hat, |

Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
| 13 A Jehová tu Dios temerás, y a él solo servirás, y por su nombre jurarás. | 13 sondern du sollst den HERRN, deinen Gott, fürchten und ihm dienen und bei seinem Namen schwören. |

Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
| 14 No andaréis en pos de dioses ajenos, de los dioses de los pueblos que están en vuestros contornos; | 14 Und du sollst nicht andern Göttern nachfolgen, den Göttern der Völker, die um euch her sind |
| 15
(For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
| 15 porque el Dios celoso, Jehová tu Dios, en medio de ti está; para que no se inflame el furor de Jehová tu Dios contra ti, y te destruya de sobre la tierra. | 15 - denn der HERR, dein Gott, ist ein eifernder Gott in deiner Mitte -, daß nicht der Zorn des HERRN, deines Gottes, über dich entbrenne und dich vertilge von der Erde. |

Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
| 16 No tentaréis a Jehová vuestro Dios, como lo tentasteis en Masah. | 16 Ihr sollt den HERRN, euren Gott, nicht versuchen, wie ihr ihn versucht habt in Massa, |

Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
| 17 Guardad cuidadosamente los mandamientos de Jehová vuestro Dios, y sus testimonios y sus estatutos que te ha mandado. | 17 sondern sollt halten die Gebote des HERRN, eures Gottes, seine Vermahnungen und seine Rechte, die er dir geboten hat, |

And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
| 18 Y haz lo recto y bueno ante los ojos de Jehová, para que te vaya bien, y entres y poseas la buena tierra que Jehová juró a tus padres; | 18 daß du tust, was recht und gut ist vor den Augen des HERRN, auf daß dir's wohlgehe und du hineinkommest und einnehmest das gute Land, von dem der HERR deinen Vätern geschworen hat, |

To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
| 19 para que él arroje a tus enemigos de delante de ti, como Jehová ha dicho. | 19 daß er verjagen wolle alle deine Feinde vor dir, wie der HERR es zugesagt hat. |

And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?
| 20 Mañana cuando te preguntare tu hijo, diciendo: ¿Qué significan los testimonios y estatutos y decretos que Jehová nuestro Dios os mandó? | 20 Wenn dich nun dein Sohn morgen fragen wird: Was sind das für Vermahnungen, Gebote und Rechte, die euch der HERR, unser Gott, geboten hat?, |

Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
| 21 entonces dirás a tu hijo: Nosotros éramos siervos de Faraón en Egipto, y Jehová nos sacó de Egipto con mano poderosa. | 21 so sollst du deinem Sohn sagen: Wir waren Knechte des Pharao in Ägypten, und der HERR führte uns aus Ägypten mit mächtiger Hand; |

And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
| 22 Jehová hizo señales y milagros grandes y terribles en Egipto, sobre Faraón y sobre toda su casa, delante de nuestros ojos; | 22 und der HERR tat große und furchtbare Zeichen und Wunder an Ägypten und am Pharao und an seinem ganzen Hause vor unsern Augen |

And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.
| 23 y nos sacó de allá, para traernos y darnos la tierra que juró a nuestros padres. | 23 und führte uns von dort weg, um uns hineinzubringen und uns das Land zu geben, wie er unsern Vätern geschworen hatte. |

And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
| 24 Y nos mandó Jehová que cumplamos todos estos estatutos, y que temamos a Jehová nuestro Dios, para que nos vaya bien todos los días, y para que nos conserve la vida, como hasta hoy. | 24 Und der HERR hat uns geboten, nach all diesen Rechten zu tun, daß wir den HERRN, unsern Gott, fürchten, auf daß es uns wohlgehe unser Leben lang, so wie es heute ist. |

And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
| 25 Y tendremos justicia cuando cuidemos de poner por obra todos estos mandamientos delante de Jehová nuestro Dios, como él nos ha mandado. | 25 Und das wird unsere Gerechtigkeit sein, daß wir alle diese Gebote tun und halten vor dem HERRN, unserm Gott, wie er uns geboten hat. |
