Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.
| 1 Luego volvimos y salimos al desierto, camino del Mar Rojo, como Jehová me había dicho; y rodeamos el monte de Seir por mucho tiempo. | 1 Dann wandten wir uns und zogen wieder in die Wüste auf der Straße zum Schilfmeer, wie der HERR zu mir gesagt hatte, und umzogen das Gebirge Seïr eine lange Zeit. |

And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
| 2 Y Jehová me habló, | 2 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: |

Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.
| 3 Bastante habéis rodeado este monte; volveos al norte. | 3 Ihr habt dies Gebirge nun genug umzogen; wendet euch nach Norden. |

And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:
| 4 Y manda al pueblo, diciendo: Pasando vosotros por el territorio de vuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitan en Seir, ellos tendrán miedo de vosotros; mas vosotros guardaos mucho. | 4 Und gebiete dem Volk und sprich: Ihr werdet durch das Land eurer Brüder, der Söhne Esau, ziehen, die auf dem Seïr wohnen, und sie werden sich vor euch fürchten. Aber hütet euch ja davor, |

Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
| 5 No os metáis con ellos, porque no os daré de su tierra ni aun lo que cubre la planta de un pie; porque yo he dado por heredad a Esaú el monte de Seir. | 5 sie zu bekriegen; ich werde euch von ihrem Lande nicht einen Fuß breit geben, denn das Gebirge Seïr habe ich den Söhnen Esau zum Besitz gegeben. |

Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.
| 6 Compraréis de ellos por dinero los alimentos, y comeréis; y también compraréis de ellos el agua, y beberéis; | 6 Speise sollt ihr für Geld von ihnen kaufen, damit ihr zu essen habt, und Wasser sollt ihr für Geld von ihnen kaufen, damit ihr zu trinken habt. |

For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
| 7 pues Jehová tu Dios te ha bendecido en toda obra de tus manos; él sabe que andas por este gran desierto; estos cuarenta años Jehová tu Dios ha estado contigo, y nada te ha faltado. | 7 Denn der HERR, dein Gott, hat dich gesegnet in allen Werken deiner Hände. Er hat dein Wandern durch diese große Wüste auf sein Herz genommen. Vierzig Jahre ist der HERR, dein Gott, bei dir gewesen. An nichts hast du Mangel gehabt. |

And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.
| 8 Y nos alejamos del territorio de nuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, por el camino del Arabá desde Elat y Ezión-geber; y volvimos, y tomamos el camino del desierto de Moab. | 8 Als wir nun von unsern Brüdern, den Söhnen Esau, die auf dem Gebirge Seïr wohnten, weggezogen waren, weg von dem Weg durch die Steppe, weg von Elat und Ezjon-Geber, wandten wir uns und zogen den Weg zum Weideland der Moabiter. |

And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.
| 9 Y Jehová me dijo: No molestes a Moab, ni te empeñes con ellos en guerra, porque no te daré posesión de su tierra; porque yo he dado a Ar por heredad a los hijos de Lot. | 9 Da sprach der HERR zu mir: Du sollst den Moabitern keinen Schaden tun noch sie bekriegen; ich will dir von ihrem Lande nichts zum Besitz geben, denn ich habe Ar den Söhnen Lot zum Besitz gegeben. - |

The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;
| 10 (Los emitas habitaron en ella antes, pueblo grande y numeroso, y alto como los hijos de Anac. | 10 Die Emiter haben vorzeiten darin gewohnt; das war ein großes, starkes und hochgewachsenes Volk wie die Anakiter. |

Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.
| 11 Por gigantes eran ellos tenidos también, como los hijos de Anac; y los moabitas los llaman emitas. | 11 Man hielt sie auch für Riesen wie die Anakiter; und die Moabiter nennen sie Emiter. |

The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.
| 12 Y en Seir habitaron antes los horeos, a los cuales echaron los hijos de Esaú; y los arrojaron de su presencia, y habitaron en lugar de ellos, como hizo Israel en la tierra que les dio Jehová por posesión. | 12 Auch wohnten vorzeiten auf dem Seïr die Horiter; und die Söhne Esau vertrieben und vertilgten sie vor sich her und wohnten an ihrer Statt, gleichwie Israel mit dem Lande tat, das ihnen der HERR zum Besitz gab. - |

Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
| 13 Levantaos ahora, y pasad el arroyo de Zered. Y pasamos el arroyo de Zered. | 13 So macht euch nun auf und zieht durch den Bach Sered! Und wir zogen hindurch. |
| 14
And the space in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.
| 14 Y los días que anduvimos de Cades-barnea hasta cuando pasamos el arroyo de Zered fueron treinta y ocho años; hasta que se acabó toda la generación de los hombres de guerra de en medio del campamento, como Jehová les había jurado. | 14 Die Zeit aber, die wir von Kadesch- Barnea zogen, bis wir durch den Bach Sered kamen, betrug achtunddreißig Jahre, bis alle Kriegsleute aus dem Lager gestorben waren, wie der HERR ihnen geschworen hatte. |

For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.
| 15 Y también la mano de Jehová vino sobre ellos para destruirlos de en medio del campamento, hasta acabarlos. | 15 So war die Hand des HERRN wider sie, um sie aus dem Lager zu vertilgen bis auf den letzten Mann. |

So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
| 16 Y aconteció que después que murieron todos los hombres de guerra de entre el pueblo, | 16 Und als alle Kriegsleute aus dem Volk gestorben waren, |

That the LORD spake unto me, saying,
| 17 Jehová me habló, | 17 redete der HERR mit mir und sprach: |

Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:
| 18 Tú pasarás hoy el territorio de Moab, a Ar. | 18 Du wirst heute durch das Gebiet der Moabiter ziehen bei Ar |

And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.
| 19 Y cuando te acerques a los hijos de Amón, no los molestes, ni contiendas con ellos; porque no te daré posesión de la tierra de los hijos de Amón, pues a los hijos de Lot la he dado por heredad. | 19 und wirst in die Nähe der Ammoniter kommen. Denen sollst du keinen Schaden tun noch sie bekriegen; ich will dir vom Lande der Ammoniter nichts zum Besitz geben, denn ich hab's den Söhnen Lot zum Besitz gegeben. - 1. Mose 19,38 |

(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;
| 20 (Por tierra de gigantes fue también ella tenida; habitaron en ella gigantes en otro tiempo, a los cuales los amonitas llamaban zomzomeos; | 20 Auch dies gilt als Land der Riesen, und es haben auch vorzeiten Riesen darin gewohnt, und die Ammoniter nennen sie Samsummiter. |

A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:
| 21 pueblo grande y numeroso, y alto, como los hijos de Anac; a los cuales Jehová destruyó delante de los amonitas. Estos sucedieron a aquéllos, y habitaron en su lugar, | 21 Das war ein großes, starkes und hochgewachsenes Volk wie die Anakiter. Und der HERR vertilgte sie vor ihnen und ließ sie ihr Land besitzen, so daß sie an ihrer Statt dort wohnten, |

As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
| 22 como hizo Jehová con los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, delante de los cuales destruyó a los horeos; y ellos sucedieron a éstos, y habitaron en su lugar hasta hoy. | 22 gleichwie er's getan hat mit den Söhnen Esau, die auf dem Gebirge Seïr wohnen, als er die Horiter vor ihnen vertilgte und sie deren Land besitzen ließ, so daß sie dort an ihrer Statt wohnten bis auf diesen Tag. |

And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)
| 23 Y a los aveos que habitaban en aldeas hasta Gaza, los caftoreos que salieron de Caftor los destruyeron, y habitaron en su lugar. | 23 Und die Kaftoriter zogen aus Kaftor, und vertilgten die Awiter, die in Gehöften wohnten bis nach Gaza, und wohnten dort an ihrer Statt. - |

Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
| 24 Levantaos, salid, y pasad el arroyo de Arnón; he aquí he entregado en tu mano a Sehón rey de Hesbón, amorreo, y a su tierra; comienza a tomar posesión de ella, y entra en guerra con él. | 24 Macht euch auf und zieht aus und geht über den Arnon! Siehe, ich habe Sihon, den König der Amoriter zu Heschbon, in deine Hände gegeben mit seinem Lande. Fange an, es einzunehmen, und kämpfe mit ihm. |

This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.
| 25 Hoy comenzaré a poner tu temor y tu espanto sobre los pueblos debajo de todo el cielo, los cuales oirán tu fama, y temblarán y se angustiarán delante de ti. | 25 Von heute an will ich Furcht und Schrecken vor dir auf alle Völker unter dem ganzen Himmel legen, damit, wenn sie von dir hören, ihnen bange und weh werden soll vor deinem Kommen. |

And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,
| 26 Y envié mensajeros desde el desierto de Cademot a Sehón rey de Hesbón con palabras de paz, | 26 Da sandte ich Boten aus der Wüste Kedemot an Sihon, den König von Heschbon, mit friedlicher Botschaft und ließ ihm sagen: |

Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.
| 27 Pasaré por tu tierra por el camino; por el camino iré, sin apartarme ni a diestra ni a siniestra. | 27 Ich will durch dein Land ziehen. Nur wo die Straße geht, will ich gehen; ich will weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken vom Weg abweichen. |

Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;
| 28 La comida me venderás por dinero, y comeré; el agua también me darás por dinero, y beberé; solamente pasaré a pie, | 28 Speise sollst du mir für Geld verkaufen, damit ich zu essen habe, und Wasser sollst du mir für Geld geben, damit ich zu trinken habe. Ich will nur hindurchziehen- |

(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.
| 29 como lo hicieron conmigo los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, y los moabitas que habitaban en Ar; hasta que cruce el Jordán a la tierra que nos da Jehová nuestro Dios. | 29 wie mir die Söhne Esau gestattet haben, die auf dem Gebirge Seïr wohnen, und die Moabiter, die zu Ar wohnen -, bis ich über den Jordan komme in das Land, das uns der HERR, unser Gott, geben wird. |

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
| 30 Mas Sehón rey de Hesbón no quiso que pasásemos por el territorio suyo; porque Jehová tu Dios había endurecido su espíritu, y obstinado su corazón para entregarlo en tu mano, como hasta hoy. | 30 Aber Sihon, der König von Heschbon, wollte uns nicht hindurchziehen lassen; denn der HERR, dein Gott, verhärtete seinen Sinn und verstockte ihm sein Herz, um ihn in deine Hände zu geben, so wie es heute ist. |

And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.
| 31 Y me dijo Jehová: He aquí yo he comenzado a entregar delante de ti a Sehón y a su tierra; comienza a tomar posesión de ella para que la heredes. | 31 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Siehe, ich habe angefangen, Sihon mit seinem Lande vor deinen Augen dahinzugeben; fangt ihr an, sein Land in Besitz zu nehmen. |

Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.
| 32 Y nos salió Sehón al encuentro, él y todo su pueblo, para pelear en Jahaza. | 32 Und Sihon zog aus uns entgegen mit seinem ganzen Kriegsvolk zum Kampf nach Jahaz. |

And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
| 33 Mas Jehová nuestro Dios lo entregó delante de nosotros; y lo derrotamos a él y a sus hijos, y a todo su pueblo. | 33 Aber der HERR, unser Gott, gab ihn vor unsern Augen dahin, daß wir ihn schlugen mit seinen Söhnen und seinem ganzen Kriegsvolk. |

And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:
| 34 Tomamos entonces todas sus ciudades, y destruimos todas las ciudades, hombres, mujeres y niños; no dejamos ninguno. | 34 Da nahmen wir zu der Zeit alle seine Städte ein und vollstreckten den Bann an allen Städten, an Männern, Frauen und Kindern, und ließen niemand übrigbleiben. |

Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.
| 35 Solamente tomamos para nosotros los ganados, y los despojos de las ciudades que habíamos tomado. | 35 Nur das Vieh raubten wir für uns und die Beute aus den Städten, die wir eingenommen hatten. |

From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:
| 36 Desde Aroer, que está junto a la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en el valle, hasta Galaad, no hubo ciudad que escapase de nosotros; todas las entregó Jehová nuestro Dios en nuestro poder. | 36 Von Aroër an, das am Ufer des Arnon liegt, und von der Stadt im Bachtal bis nach Gilead war keine Stadt, die sich vor uns schützen konnte; der HERR, unser Gott, gab alles vor unsern Augen dahin. |

Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.
| 37 Solamente a la tierra de los hijos de Amón no llegamos; ni a todo lo que está a la orilla del arroyo de Jaboc ni a las ciudades del monte, ni a lugar alguno que Jehová nuestro Dios había prohibido. | 37 Nur zu dem Lande der Ammoniter kamst du nicht, weder zum Ufer des Jabbok noch zu den Städten auf dem Gebirge, ganz wie uns der HERR, unser Gott, geboten hatte. |
