At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
| 1 Cada siete ańos harás remisión. | 1 Alle sieben Jahre sollst du ein Erlaßjahr halten. |

And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release.
| 2 Y esta es la manera de la remisión: perdonará a su deudor todo aquel que hizo empréstito de su mano, con el cual obligó a su prójimo; no lo demandará más a su prójimo, o a su hermano, porque es pregonada la remisión de Jehová. | 2 So aber soll's zugehen mit dem Erlaßjahr: Wenn einer seinem Nächsten etwas geborgt hat, der soll's ihm erlassen und soll's nicht eintreiben von seinem Nächsten oder von seinem Bruder; denn man hat ein Erlaßjahr ausgerufen dem HERRN. |

Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
| 3 Del extranjero demandarás el reintegro; pero lo que tu hermano tuviere tuyo, lo perdonará tu mano, | 3 Von einem Ausländer darfst du es eintreiben; aber dem, der dein Bruder ist, sollst du es erlassen. |

Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
| 4 para que así no haya en medio de ti mendigo; porque Jehová te bendecirá con abundancia en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad para que la tomes en posesión, | 4 Es sollte überhaupt kein Armer unter euch sein; denn der HERR wird dich segnen in dem Lande, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, zum Erbe geben wird, |

Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
| 5 si escuchares fielmente la voz de Jehová tu Dios, para guardar y cumplir todos estos mandamientos que yo te ordeno hoy. | 5 wenn du nur der Stimme des HERRN, deines Gottes, gehorchst und alle diese Gebote hältst, die ich dir heute gebiete, daß du danach tust! |

For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
| 6 Ya que Jehová tu Dios te habrá bendecido, como te ha dicho, prestarás entonces a muchas naciones, mas tú no tomarás prestado; tendrás dominio sobre muchas naciones, pero sobre ti no tendrán dominio. | 6 Denn der HERR, dein Gott, wird dich segnen, wie er dir zugesagt hat. Dann wirst du vielen Völkern leihen, doch du wirst von niemand borgen; du wirst über viele Völker herrschen, doch über dich wird niemand herrschen. |

If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
| 7 Cuando haya en medio de ti menesteroso de alguno de tus hermanos en alguna de tus ciudades, en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, no endurecerás tu corazón, ni cerrarás tu mano contra tu hermano pobre, | 7 Wenn einer deiner Brüder arm ist in irgendeiner Stadt in deinem Lande, das der HERR, dein Gott, dir geben wird, so sollst du dein Herz nicht verhärten und deine Hand nicht zuhalten gegenüber deinem armen Bruder, |

But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
| 8 sino abrirás a él tu mano liberalmente, y en efecto le prestarás lo que necesite. | 8 sondern sollst sie ihm auftun und ihm leihen, soviel er Mangel hat. |

Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
| 9 Guárdate de tener en tu corazón pensamiento perverso, diciendo: Cerca está el ańo séptimo, el de la remisión, y mires con malos ojos a tu hermano menesteroso para no darle; porque él podrá clamar contra ti a Jehová, y se te contará por pecado. | 9 Hüte dich, daß nicht in deinem Herzen ein arglistiger Gedanke aufsteige, daß du sprichst: Es naht das siebente Jahr, das Erlaßjahr -, und daß du deinen armen Bruder nicht unfreundlich ansiehst und ihm nichts gibst; sonst wird er wider dich zu dem HERRN rufen, und bei dir wird Sünde sein. |

Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
| 10 Sin falta le darás, y no serás de mezquino corazón cuando le des; porque por ello te bendecirá Jehová tu Dios en todos tus hechos, y en todo lo que emprendas. | 10 Sondern du sollst ihm geben, und dein Herz soll sich's nicht verdrießen lassen, daß du ihm gibst; denn dafür wird dich der HERR, dein Gott, segnen in allen deinen Werken und in allem, was du unternimmst. |

For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
| 11 Porque no faltarán menesterosos en medio de la tierra; por eso yo te mando, diciendo: Abrirás tu mano a tu hermano, al pobre y al menesteroso en tu tierra. | 11 Es werden allezeit Arme sein im Lande; darum gebiete ich dir und sage, daß du deine Hand auftust deinem Bruder, der bedrängt und arm ist in deinem Lande. |

And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
| 12 Si se vendiere a ti tu hermano hebreo o hebrea, y te hubiere servido seis ańos, al séptimo le despedirás libre. | 12 Wenn sich dein Bruder, ein Hebräer oder eine Hebräerin, dir verkauft, so soll er dir sechs Jahre dienen; im siebenten Jahr sollst du ihn als frei entlassen. |

And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:
| 13 Y cuando lo despidieres libre, no le enviarás con las manos vacías. | 13 Und wenn du ihn freigibst, sollst du ihn nicht mit leeren Händen von dir gehen lassen, |

Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
| 14 Le abastecerás liberalmente de tus ovejas, de tu era y de tu lagar; le darás de aquello en que Jehová te hubiere bendecido. | 14 sondern du sollst ihm aufladen von deinen Schafen, von deiner Tenne, von deiner Kelter, so daß du gibst von dem, womit dich der HERR, dein Gott, gesegnet hat, |

And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
| 15 Y te acordarás de que fuiste siervo en la tierra de Egipto, y que Jehová tu Dios te rescató; por tanto yo te mando esto hoy. | 15 und sollst daran denken, daß du auch Knecht warst in Ägyptenland und der HERR, dein Gott, dich erlöst hat; darum gebiete ich dir solches heute. |

And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
| 16 Si él te dijere: No te dejaré; porque te ama a ti y a tu casa, y porque le va bien contigo; | 16 Wird er aber zu dir sprechen: Ich will nicht fortgehen von dir, denn ich habe dich und dein Haus lieb - weil ihm wohl bei dir ist -, |

Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
| 17 entonces tomarás una lesna, y horadarás su oreja contra la puerta, y será tu siervo para siempre; así también harás a tu criada. | 17 so nimm einen Pfriemen und durchbohre ihm sein Ohr an dem Pfosten der Tür und laß ihn für immer deinen Knecht sein. Mit deiner Magd sollst du ebenso tun. |

It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
| 18 No te parezca duro cuando le enviares libre, pues por la mitad del costo de un jornalero te sirvió seis ańos; y Jehová tu Dios te bendecirá en todo cuanto hicieres. | 18 Und laß dir's nicht schwerfallen, daß du ihn freiläßt, denn er hat dir sechs Jahre wie zwei Tagelöhner gedient; so wird der HERR, dein Gott, dich segnen in allem, was du tust. |

All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
| 19 Consagrarás a Jehová tu Dios todo primogénito macho de tus vacas y de tus ovejas; no te servirás del primogénito de tus vacas, ni trasquilarás el primogénito de tus ovejas. | 19 Alle Erstgeburt, die unter deinen Rindern und Schafen geboren wird, sollst du, wenn sie männlich ist, dem HERRN, deinem Gott, heiligen. Du sollst nicht ackern mit dem Erstling deiner Rinder und nicht scheren die Erstlinge deiner Schafe. |

Thou shalt eat it before the LORD thy God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy household.
| 20 Delante de Jehová tu Dios los comerás cada ańo, tú y tu familia, en el lugar que Jehová escogiere. | 20 Vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, sollst du sie essen jährlich an der Stätte, die der HERR erwählt, du und dein Haus. |

And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.
| 21 Y si hubiere en él defecto, si fuere ciego, o cojo, o hubiere en él cualquier falta, no lo sacrificarás a Jehová tu Dios. | 21 Wenn's aber einen Fehler hat, daß es hinkt oder blind ist oder sonst irgendeinen bösen Fehler hat, so sollst du es nicht opfern dem HERRN, deinem Gott; |

Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.
| 22 En tus poblaciones lo comerás; el inmundo lo mismo que el limpio comerán de él, como de una gacela o de un ciervo. | 22 sondern in deiner Stadt sollst du es essen, du seist unrein oder rein, wie man Reh und Hirsch ißt, |

Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.
| 23 Solamente que no comas su sangre; sobre la tierra la derramarás como agua. | 23 nur daß du sein Blut nicht ißt, sondern es auf die Erde gießt wie Wasser! |
