If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
| 1 Cuando se levantare en medio de ti profeta, o sońador de sueńos, y te anunciare seńal o prodigios, | 1 *Alles, was ich euch gebiete, das sollt ihr halten und danach tun. Ihr sollt nichts dazutun und nichts davontun. |

And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
| 3 no darás oído a las palabras de tal profeta, ni al tal sońador de sueńos; porque Jehová vuestro Dios os está probando, para saber si amáis a Jehová vuestro Dios con todo vuestro corazón, y con toda vuestra alma. | 3 und das Zeichen oder Wunder trifft ein, von dem er dir gesagt hat, und er spricht: Laß uns andern Göttern folgen, die ihr nicht kennt, und ihnen dienen, |

Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
| 4 En pos de Jehová vuestro Dios andaréis; a él temeréis, guardaréis sus mandamientos y escucharéis su voz, a él serviréis, y a él seguiréis. | 4 so sollst du nicht gehorchen den Worten eines solchen Propheten oder Träumers; denn der HERR, euer Gott, versucht euch, um zu erfahren, ob ihr ihn von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele liebhabt. |

And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
| 5 Tal profeta o sońador de sueńos ha de ser muerto, por cuanto aconsejó rebelión contra Jehová vuestro Dios que te sacó de tierra de Egipto y te rescató de casa de servidumbre, y trató de apartarte del camino por el cual Jehová tu Dios te mandó que anduvieses; y así quitarás el mal de en medio de ti. | 5 Dem HERRN, eurem Gott, sollt ihr folgen und ihn fürchten und seine Gebote halten und seiner Stimme gehorchen und ihm dienen und ihm anhangen. |

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
| 6 Si te incitare tu hermano, hijo de tu madre, o tu hijo, tu hija, tu mujer o tu amigo íntimo, diciendo en secreto: Vamos y sirvamos a dioses ajenos, que ni tú ni tus padres conocisteis, | 6 Der Prophet aber oder der Träumer soll sterben, weil er euch gelehrt hat, abzufallen von dem HERRN, eurem Gott, der euch aus Ägyptenland geführt und dich aus der Knechtschaft erlöst hat, und weil er dich von dem Wege abbringen wollte, auf dem du wandeln sollst, wie der HERR, dein Gott, geboten hat -, auf daß du das Böse aus deiner Mitte wegtust. |

Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
| 7 de los dioses de los pueblos que están en vuestros alrededores, cerca de ti o lejos de ti, desde un extremo de la tierra hasta el otro extremo de ella; | 7 Wenn dich dein Bruder, deiner Mutter Sohn, oder dein Sohn oder deine Tochter oder deine Frau in deinen Armen oder dein Freund, der dir so lieb ist wie dein Leben, heimlich überreden würde und sagen: Laß uns hingehen und andern Göttern dienen, die du nicht kennst noch deine Väter, |

Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
| 8 no consentirás con él, ni le prestarás oído; ni tu ojo le compadecerá, ni le tendrás misericordia, ni lo encubrirás, | 8 von den Göttern der Völker, die um euch her sind, sie seien dir nah oder fern, von einem Ende der Erde bis ans andere, |

But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
| 9 sino que lo matarás; tu mano se alzará primero sobre él para matarle, y después la mano de todo el pueblo. | 9 so willige nicht ein und gehorche ihm nicht. Auch soll dein Auge ihn nicht schonen, und du sollst dich seiner nicht erbarmen und seine Schuld nicht verheimlichen, |

And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
| 10 Le apedrearás hasta que muera, por cuanto procuró apartarte de Jehová tu Dios, que te sacó de tierra de Egipto, de casa de servidumbre; | 10 sondern sollst ihn zum Tode bringen. Deine Hand soll die erste wider ihn sein, ihn zu töten, und danach die Hand des ganzen Volks. |

And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
| 11 para que todo Israel oiga, y tema, y no vuelva a hacer en medio de ti cosa semejante a esta. | 11 Man soll ihn zu Tode steinigen, denn er hat dich abbringen wollen von dem HERRN, deinem Gott, der dich aus Ägyptenland, aus der Knechtschaft, geführt hat, |

If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
| 12 Si oyeres que se dice de alguna de tus ciudades que Jehová tu Dios te da para vivir en ellas, | 12 auf daß ganz Israel aufhorche und sich fürchte und man nicht mehr solch Böses tue unter euch. |

Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
| 13 que han salido de en medio de ti hombres impíos que han instigado a los moradores de su ciudad, diciendo: Vamos y sirvamos a dioses ajenos, que vosotros no conocisteis; | 13 Wenn du von irgendeiner Stadt, die dir der HERR, dein Gott, gegeben hat, darin zu wohnen, sagen hörst: |

Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
| 14 tú inquirirás, y buscarás y preguntarás con diligencia; y si pareciere verdad, cosa cierta, que tal abominación se hizo en medio de ti, | 14 Es sind etliche heillose Leute aufgetreten aus deiner Mitte und haben die Bürger ihrer Stadt verführt und gesagt: Laßt uns hingehen und andern Göttern dienen, die ihr nicht kennt, |

Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
| 15 irremisiblemente herirás a filo de espada a los moradores de aquella ciudad, destruyéndola con todo lo que en ella hubiere, y también matarás sus ganados a filo de espada. | 15 so sollst du gründlich suchen, forschen und fragen. Und wenn sich findet, daß es gewiß ist, daß solch ein Greuel unter euch geschehen ist, |

And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
| 16 Y juntarás todo su botín en medio de la plaza, y consumirás con fuego la ciudad y todo su botín, todo ello, como holocausto a Jehová tu Dios, y llegará a ser un montón de ruinas para siempre; nunca más será edificada. | 16 so sollst du die Bürger dieser Stadt erschlagen mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und an ihr den Bann vollstrecken, an allem, was darin ist, auch an ihrem Vieh, mit der Schärfe des Schwerts. |

And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
| 17 Y no se pegará a tu mano nada del anatema, para que Jehová se aparte del ardor de su ira, y tenga de ti misericordia, y tenga compasión de ti, y te multiplique, como lo juró a tus padres, | 17 Und alles, was in ihr erbeutet wird, sollst du sammeln mitten auf dem Marktplatz und mit Feuer verbrennen die Stadt und alle ihre Beute als ein Ganzopfer für den HERRN, deinen Gott, daß sie in Trümmern liege für immer und nie wieder aufgebaut werde. |

When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.
| 18 cuando obedecieres a la voz de Jehová tu Dios, guardando todos sus mandamientos que yo te mando hoy, para hacer lo recto ante los ojos de Jehová tu Dios. | 18 Und laß nichts von dem, was dem Bann verfallen ist, an deiner Hand kleben, auf daß der HERR von seinem grimmigen Zorn abgewendet werde und gebe dir Barmherzigkeit und erbarme sich deiner und mehre dich, wie er deinen Vätern geschworen hat, |
