In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;

In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
| 4 Y oré a Jehová mi Dios e hice confesión diciendo: Ahora, Seńor, Dios grande, digno de ser temido, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia con los que te aman y guardan tus mandamientos; | 4 Ich betete aber zu dem HERRN, meinem Gott, und bekannte und sprach: Ach, Herr, du großer und heiliger Gott, der du Bund und Gnade bewahrst denen, die dich lieben und deine Gebote halten! |

We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
| 5 hemos pecado, hemos cometido iniquidad, hemos hecho impíamente, y hemos sido rebeldes, y nos hemos apartado de tus mandamientos y de tus ordenanzas. | 5 Wir haben gesündigt, Unrecht getan, sind gottlos gewesen und abtrünnig geworden; wir sind von deinen Geboten und Rechten abgewichen. |

Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
| 6 No hemos obedecido a tus siervos los profetas, que en tu nombre hablaron a nuestros reyes, a nuestros príncipes, a nuestros padres y a todo el pueblo de la tierra. | 6 Wir gehorchten nicht deinen Knechten, den Propheten, die in deinem Namen zu unsern Königen, Fürsten, Vätern und zu allem Volk des Landes redeten. |

O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
| 7 Tuya es, Seńor, la justicia, y nuestra la confusión de rostro, como en el día de hoy lleva todo hombre de Judá, los moradores de Jerusalén, y todo Israel, los de cerca y los de lejos, en todas las tierras adonde los has echado a causa de su rebelión con que se rebelaron contra ti. | 7 Du, Herr, bist gerecht, wir aber müssen uns alle heute schämen, die von Juda und von Jerusalem und vom ganzen Israel, die, die nahe sind, und die zerstreut sind in allen Ländern, wohin du sie verstoßen hast um ihrer Missetat willen, die sie an dir begangen haben. |

O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
| 10 y no obedecimos a la voz de Jehová nuestro Dios, para andar en sus leyes que él puso delante de nosotros por medio de sus siervos los profetas. | 10 und gehorchten nicht der Stimme des HERRN, unseres Gottes, und wandelten nicht in seinem Gesetz, das er uns vorlegte durch seine Knechte, die Propheten; |

Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
| 11 Todo Israel traspasó tu ley apartándose para no obedecer tu voz; por lo cual ha caído sobre nosotros la maldición y el juramento que está escrito en la ley de Moisés, siervo de Dios; porque contra él pecamos. | 11 sondern ganz Israel übertrat dein Gesetz, und sie wichen ab und gehorchten deiner Stimme nicht. Darum trifft uns auch der Fluch, den er geschworen hat und der geschrieben steht im Gesetz des Mose, des Knechtes Gottes, weil wir an ihm gesündigt haben. |

And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
| 12 Y él ha cumplido la palabra que habló contra nosotros y contra nuestros jefes que nos gobernaron, trayendo sobre nosotros tan grande mal; pues nunca fue hecho debajo del cielo nada semejante a lo que se ha hecho contra Jerusalén. | 12 Und Gott hat seine Worte gehalten, die er geredet hat gegen uns und unsere Richter, die uns richten sollten, daß er ein so großes Unglück über uns hat kommen lassen; denn unter dem ganzen Himmel ist derartiges nicht geschehen wie in Jerusalem. |

As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
| 13 Conforme está escrito en la ley de Moisés, todo este mal vino sobre nosotros; y no hemos implorado el favor de Jehová nuestro Dios, para convertirnos de nuestras maldades y entender tu verdad. | 13 Wie es geschrieben steht im Gesetz des Mose, so ist all dies große Unglück über uns gekommen. Aber wir beteten auch nicht vor dem HERRN, unserm Gott, so daß wir uns von unsern Sünden bekehrt und auf deine Wahrheit geachtet hätten. |

Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
| 14 Por tanto, Jehová veló sobre el mal y lo trajo sobre nosotros; porque justo es Jehová nuestro Dios en todas sus obras que ha hecho, porque no obedecimos a su voz. | 14 Darum ist der HERR auch bedacht gewesen auf dies Unglück und hat's über uns kommen lassen. Denn der HERR, unser Gott, ist gerecht in allen seinen Werken, die er tut; aber wir gehorchten seiner Stimme nicht. |

And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
| 15 Ahora pues, Seńor Dios nuestro, que sacaste tu pueblo de la tierra de Egipto con mano poderosa, y te hiciste renombre cual lo tienes hoy; hemos pecado, hemos hecho impíamente. | 15 Und nun, Herr, unser Gott, der du dein Volk aus Ägyptenland geführt hast mit starker Hand und hast dir einen Namen gemacht, so wie es heute ist: wir haben gesündigt, wir sind gottlos gewesen. |

O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
| 16 Oh Seńor, conforme a todos tus actos de justicia, apártese ahora tu ira y tu furor de sobre tu ciudad Jerusalén, tu santo monte; porque a causa de nuestros pecados, y por la maldad de nuestros padres, Jerusalén y tu pueblo son el oprobio de todos en derredor nuestro. | 16 Ach Herr, um aller deiner Gerechtigkeit willen wende ab deinen Zorn und Grimm von deiner Stadt Jerusalem und deinem heiligen Berg. Denn wegen unserer Sünden und wegen der Missetaten unserer Väter trägt Jerusalem und dein Volk Schmach bei allen, die um uns her wohnen. |

Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
| 17 Ahora pues, Dios nuestro, oye la oración de tu siervo, y sus ruegos; y haz que tu rostro resplandezca sobre tu santuario asolado, por amor del Seńor. | 17 Und nun, unser Gott, höre das Gebet deines Knechtes und sein Flehen. Laß leuchten dein Antlitz über dein zerstörtes Heiligtum um deinetwillen, Herr! |

O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
| 18 Inclina, oh Dios mío, tu oído, y oye; abre tus ojos, y mira nuestras desolaciones, y la ciudad sobre la cual es invocado tu nombre; porque no elevamos nuestros ruegos ante ti confiados en nuestras justicias, sino en tus muchas misericordias. | 18 Neige dein Ohr, mein Gott, und höre, tu deine Augen auf und sieh an unsere Trümmer und die Stadt, die nach deinem Namen genannt ist. Denn wir liegen vor dir mit unserm Gebet und vertrauen nicht auf unsre Gerechtigkeit, sondern auf deine große Barmherzigkeit. |

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
| 19 Oye, Seńor; oh Seńor, perdona; presta oído, Seńor, y hazlo; no tardes, por amor de ti mismo, Dios mío; porque tu nombre es invocado sobre tu ciudad y sobre tu pueblo. | 19 Ach Herr, höre! And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;
| 20 Aún estaba hablando y orando, y confesando mi pecado y el pecado de mi pueblo Israel, y derramaba mi ruego delante de Jehová mi Dios por el monte santo de mi Dios; | 20 Als ich noch so redete und betete und meine und meines Volkes Israel Sünde bekannte und mit meinem Gebet für den heiligen Berg meines Gottes vor dem HERRN, meinem Gott, lag, |

Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
| 21 aún estaba hablando en oración, cuando el varón Gabriel, a quien había visto en la visión al principio, volando con presteza, vino a mí como a la hora del sacrificio de la tarde. | 21 eben als ich noch so redete in meinem Gebet, da flog der Mann Gabriel, den ich zuvor im Gesicht gesehen hatte, um die Zeit des Abendopfers dicht an mich heran. |

And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
| 22 Y me hizo entender, y habló conmigo, diciendo: Daniel, ahora he salido para darte sabiduría y entendimiento. | 22 Und er unterwies mich und redete mit mir und sprach: Daniel, jetzt bin ich ausgegangen, um dir zum rechten Verständnis zu verhelfen. |

At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
| 23 Al principio de tus ruegos fue dada la orden, y yo he venido para enseńártela, porque tú eres muy amado. Entiende, pues, la orden, y entiende la visión. | 23 Denn als du anfingst zu beten, erging ein Wort, und ich komme, um dir's kundzutun; denn du bist von Gott geliebt. So merke nun auf das Wort, damit du das Gesicht verstehst. |

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
| 24 Setenta semanas están determinadas sobre tu pueblo y sobre tu santa ciudad, para terminar la prevaricación, y poner fin al pecado, y expiar la iniquidad, para traer la justicia perdurable, y sellar la visión y la profecía, y ungir al Santo de los santos. | 24 Siebzig Wochen* sind verhängt über dein Volk und über deine heilige Stadt; dann wird dem Frevel ein Ende gemacht und die Sünde abgetan und die Schuld gesühnt, und es wird ewige Gerechtigkeit gebracht und Gesicht und Weissagung erfüllt und das Allerheiligste gesalbt werden. *Gemeint sind Jahrwochen; jede umfaßt sieben Jahre. |

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
| 25 Sabe, pues, y entiende, que desde la salida de la orden para restaurar y edificar a Jerusalén hasta el Mesías Príncipe, habrá siete semanas, y sesenta y dos semanas; se volverá a edificar la plaza y el muro en tiempos angustiosos. | 25 So wisse nun und gib acht: Von der Zeit an, als das Wort erging, Jerusalem werde wiederaufgebaut werden, bis ein Gesalbter, ein Fürst, kommt, sind es sieben Wochen; und zweiundsechzig Wochen lang wird es wieder aufgebaut sein mit Plätzen und Gräben, wiewohl in kummervoller Zeit. |

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
| 26 Y después de las sesenta y dos semanas se quitará la vida al Mesías, mas no por sí; y el pueblo de un príncipe que ha de venir destruirá la ciudad y el santuario; y su fin será con inundación, y hasta el fin de la guerra durarán las devastaciones. | 26 Und nach den zweiundsechzig Wochen wird ein Gesalbter ausgerottet werden und nicht mehr sein. Und das Volk eines Fürsten wird kommen und die Stadt und das Heiligtum zerstören, aber dann kommt das Ende durch eine Flut, und bis zum Ende wird es Krieg geben und Verwüstung, die längst beschlossen ist. |

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. | 27 Y por otra semana confirmará el pacto con muchos; a la mitad de la semana hará cesar el sacrificio y la ofrenda. Después con la muchedumbre de las abominaciones vendrá el desolador, hasta que venga la consumación, y lo que está determinado se derrame sobre el desolador. | 27 Er wird aber vielen den Bund schwer machen eine Woche lang. Und in der Mitte der Woche wird er Schlachtopfer und Speisopfer abschaffen. Und im Heiligtum wird stehen ein Greuelbild, das Verwüstung anrichtet, bis das Verderben, das beschlossen ist, sich über die Verwüstung ergießen wird. |
