Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
| 1 El rey Nabucodonosor hizo una estatua de oro cuya altura era de sesenta codos, y su anchura de seis codos; la levantó en el campo de Dura, en la provincia de Babilonia. | 1 Der König Nebukadnezar ließ ein goldenes Bild machen sechzig Ellen hoch und sechs Ellen breit und ließ es aufrichten in der Ebene Dura im Lande Babel. | | 2
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the aBEL-MEHOLaH, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
| 2 Y envió el rey Nabucodonosor a que se reuniesen los sátrapas, los magistrados y capitanes, oidores, tesoreros, consejeros, jueces, y todos los gobernadores de las provincias, para que viniesen a la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado. | 2 Und der König Nebukadnezar sandte nach den Fürsten, Würdenträgern, Statthaltern, Richtern, Schatzmeistern, Räten, Amtleuten und allen Mächtigen im Lande, daß sie zusammenkommen sollten, um das Bild zu weihen, das der König Nebukadnezar hatte aufrichten lassen. | | 3
Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the aBEL-MEHOLaH, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
| 3 Fueron, pues, reunidos los sátrapas, magistrados, capitanes, oidores, tesoreros, consejeros, jueces, y todos los gobernadores de las provincias, a la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado; y estaban en pie delante de la estatua que había levantado el rey Nabucodonosor. | 3 Da kamen zusammen die Fürsten, Würdenträger, Statthalter, Richter, Schatzmeister, Räte, Amtleute und alle Mächtigen im Lande, um das Bild zu weihen, das der König Nebukadnezar hatte aufrichten lassen. Und sie mußten sich vor dem Bild aufstellen, das Nebukadnezar hatte aufrichten lassen. | | 4
Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
| 4 Y el pregonero anunciaba en alta voz: Mándase a vosotros, oh pueblos, naciones y lenguas, | 4 Und der Herold rief laut: Es wird euch befohlen, ihr Völker und Leute aus so vielen verschiedenen Sprachen: | | 5
That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
| 5 que al oír el son de la bocina, de la flauta, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña y de todo instrumento de música, os postréis y adoréis la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado; | 5 Wenn ihr hören werdet den Schall der Posaunen, Trompeten, Harfen, Zithern, Flöten, Lauten und aller andern Instrumente, dann sollt ihr niederfallen und das goldene Bild anbeten, das der König Nebukadnezar hat aufrichten lassen. | | 6
And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
| 6 y cualquiera que no se postre y adore, inmediatamente será echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo. | 6 Wer aber dann nicht niederfällt und anbetet, der soll sofort in den glühenden Ofen geworfen werden. | | 7
Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
| 7 Por lo cual, al oír todos los pueblos el son de la bocina, de la flauta, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña y de todo instrumento de música, todos los pueblos, naciones y lenguas se postraron y adoraron la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado. | 7 Als sie nun hörten den Schall der Posaunen, Trompeten, Harfen, Zithern, Flöten und aller andern Instrumente, fielen nieder alle Völker und Leute aus so vielen verschiedenen Sprachen und beteten an das goldene Bild, das der König Nebukadnezar hatte aufrichten lassen. | | 8
Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
| 8 Por esto en aquel tiempo algunos varones caldeos vinieron y acusaron maliciosamente a los judíos. | 8 Da kamen einige chaldäische Männer und verklagten die Juden, | | 9
They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
| 9 Hablaron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: Rey, para siempre vive. | 9 fingen an und sprachen zum König Nebukadnezar: Der König lebe ewig! | | 10
Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
| 10 Tú, oh rey, has dado una ley que todo hombre, al oír el son de la bocina, de la flauta, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña y de todo instrumento de música, se postre y adore la estatua de oro; | 10 Du hast ein Gebot ergehen lassen, daß alle Menschen niederfallen und das goldene Bild anbeten sollten, wenn sie den Schall der Posaunen, Trompeten, Harfen, Zithern, Flöten, Lauten und aller andern Instrumente hören würden; | | 11
And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
| 11 y el que no se postre y adore, sea echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo. | 11 wer aber nicht niederfiele und anbetete, sollte in den glühenden Ofen geworfen werden. | | 12
There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
| 12 Hay unos varones judíos, los cuales pusiste sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia: Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego; estos varones, oh rey, no te han respetado; no adoran tus dioses, ni adoran la estatua de oro que has levantado. | 12 Nun sind da jüdische Männer, die du über die einzelnen Bezirke im Lande Babel gesetzt hast, nämlich Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego; die verachten dein Gebot und ehren deinen Gott nicht und beten das goldene Bild nicht an, das du hast aufrichten lassen. | | 13
Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.
| 13 Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo con ira y con enojo que trajesen a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego. Al instante fueron traídos estos varones delante del rey. | 13 Da befahl Nebukadnezar mit Grimm und Zorn, Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego vor ihn zu bringen. Und die Männer wurden vor den König gebracht. | | 14
Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
| 14 Habló Nabucodonosor y les dijo: ¿Es verdad, Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, que vosotros no honráis a mi dios, ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado? | 14 Da fing Nebukadnezar an und sprach zu ihnen: Wie? Wollt ihr, Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego, meinen Gott nicht ehren und das goldene Bild nicht anbeten, das ich habe aufrichten lassen? | | 15
Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
| 15 Ahora, pues, ¿estáis dispuestos para que al oír el son de la bocina, de la flauta, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña y de todo instrumento de música, os postréis y adoréis la estatua que he hecho? Porque si no la adorareis, en la misma hora seréis echados en medio de un horno de fuego ardiendo; ¿y qué dios será aquel que os libre de mis manos? | 15 Wohlan, seid bereit! Sobald ihr den Schall der Posaunen, Trompeten, Harfen, Zithern, Flöten, Lauten und aller andern Instrumente hören werdet, so fallt nieder und betet das Bild an, das ich habe machen lassen! Werdet ihr's aber nicht anbeten, dann sollt ihr sofort in den glühenden Ofen geworfen werden. Laßt sehen, wer der Gott ist, der euch aus meiner Hand erretten könnte! | | 16
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
| 16 Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego respondieron al rey Nabucodonosor, diciendo: No es necesario que te respondamos sobre este asunto. | 16 Da fingen an Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego und sprachen zum König Nebukadnezar: Es ist nicht nötig, daß wir dir darauf antworten. | | 17
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
| 17 He aquí nuestro Dios a quien servimos puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiendo; y de tu mano, oh rey, nos librará. | 17 Wenn unser Gott, den wir verehren, will, so kann er uns erretten; aus dem glühenden Ofen und aus deiner Hand, oh König, kann er erretten. | | 18
But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
| 18 Y si no, sepas, oh rey, que no serviremos a tus dioses, ni tampoco adoraremos la estatua que has levantado. | 18 Und wenn er's nicht tun will, so sollst du dennoch wissen, daß wir deinen Gott nicht ehren und das goldene Bild, das du hast aufrichten lassen, nicht anbeten wollen. | | 19
Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
| 19 Entonces Nabucodonosor se llenó de ira, y se demudó el aspecto de su rostro contra Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, y ordenó que el horno se calentase siete veces más de lo acostumbrado. | 19 Da wurde Nebukadnezar voll Grimm, und der Ausdruck seines Angesichts veränderte sich gegenüber Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego, und er befahl, man sollte den Ofen siebenmal heißer machen, als man sonst zu tun pflegte. | | 20
And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
| 20 Y mandó a hombres muy vigorosos que tenía en su ejército, que atasen a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, para echarlos en el horno de fuego ardiendo. | 20 Und er befahl den besten Kriegsleuten, die in seinem Heer waren, Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego zu binden und in den glühenden Ofen zu werfen. | | 21
Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
| 21 Entonces estos varones fueron atados con sus mantos, sus calzas, sus turbantes y sus vestidos, y fueron echados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo. | 21 Da wurden diese Männer in ihren Mänteln, Hosen, Hüten, in ihrer ganzen Kleidung, gebunden und in den glühenden Ofen geworfen. | | 22
Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
| 22 Y como la orden del rey era apremiante, y lo habían calentado mucho, la llama del fuego mató a aquellos que habían alzado a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego. | 22 Weil das Gebot des Königs so streng war, schürte man das Feuer im Ofen so sehr, daß die Männer, die Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego hinaufbrachten, von den Feuerflammen getötet wurden. | | 23
And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
| 23 Y estos tres varones, Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, cayeron atados dentro del horno de fuego ardiendo. | 23 Aber die drei Männer, Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego, fielen hinab in den glühenden Ofen, gebunden wie sie waren. | | 24
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his aBEL-MEHOLaH, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
| 24 Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se espantó, y se levantó apresuradamente y dijo a los de su consejo: ¿No echaron a tres varones atados dentro del fuego? Ellos respondieron al rey: Es verdad, oh rey. | 24 Da entsetzte sich der König Nebukadnezar, fuhr auf und sprach zu seinen Räten: Haben wir nicht drei Männer gebunden in das Feuer werfen lassen? Sie antworteten und sprachen zum König: Ja, König. | | 25
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
| 25 Y él dijo: He aquí yo veo cuatro varones sueltos, que se pasean en medio del fuego sin sufrir ningún daño; y el aspecto del cuarto es semejante a hijo de los dioses. | 25 Er antwortete und sprach: Ich sehe aber vier Männer frei im Feuer umhergehen, und sie sind unversehrt; und der vierte sieht aus, als wäre er ein Sohn der Götter. | | 26
Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
| 26 Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó a la puerta del horno de fuego ardiendo, y dijo: Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, siervos del Dios Altísimo, salid y venid. Entonces Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego salieron de en medio del fuego. | 26 Und Nebukadnezar trat vor die Tür des glühenden Ofens und sprach: Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego, ihr Knechte Gottes des Höchsten, tretet heraus und kommt her! Da traten Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego heraus aus dem Feuer. | | 27
And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's aBEL-MEHOLaH, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
| 27 Y se juntaron los sátrapas, los gobernadores, los capitanes y los consejeros del rey, para mirar a estos varones, cómo el fuego no había tenido poder alguno sobre sus cuerpos, ni aun el cabello de sus cabezas se había quemado; sus ropas estaban intactas, y ni siquiera olor de fuego tenían. | 27 Und die Fürsten, Würdenträger, Statthalter und Räte des Königs kamen zusammen und sahen, daß das Feuer den Leibern dieser Männer nichts hatte anhaben können und ihr Haupthaar nicht versengt und ihre Mäntel nicht versehrt waren; ja, man konnte keinen Brand an ihnen riechen. | | 28
Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
| 28 Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo: Bendito sea el Dios de ellos, de Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, que envió su ángel y libró a sus siervos que confiaron en él, y que no cumplieron el edicto del rey, y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que servir y adorar a otro dios que su Dios. | 28 Da fing Nebukadnezar an und sprach: Gelobt sei der Gott Schadrachs, Meschachs und Abed-Negos, der seinen Engel gesandt und seine Knechte errettet hat, die ihm vertraut und des Königs Gebot nicht gehalten haben, sondern ihren Leib preisgaben; denn sie wollten keinen andern Gott verehren und anbeten als allein ihren Gott! | | 29
Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
| 29 Por lo tanto, decreto que todo pueblo, nación o lengua que dijere blasfemia contra el Dios de Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego, sea descuartizado, y su casa convertida en muladar; por cuanto no hay dios que pueda librar como éste. | 29 So sei nun dies mein Gebot: Wer unter allen Völkern und Leuten aus so vielen verschiedenen Sprachen den Gott Schadrachs, Meschachs und Abed-Negos lästert, der soll in Stücke gehauen und sein Haus zu einem Schutthaufen gemacht werden. Denn es gibt keinen andern Gott als den, der so erretten kann. | | 30
Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon. | 30 Entonces el rey engrandeció a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego en la provincia de Babilonia. | 30 Und der König gab Schadrach, Meschach und Abed-Nego große Macht im Lande Babel. |
