And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
| 2 Y había un siervo de la casa de Saúl, que se llamaba Siba, al cual llamaron para que viniese a David. Y el rey le dijo: ¿Eres tú Siba? Y él respondió: Tu siervo. | 2 Es war aber ein Knecht vom Hause Sauls, der hieß Ziba; den riefen sie zu David. Und der König sprach zu ihm: Bist du Ziba? Er sprach: Ja, dein Knecht ist es. |

And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
| 3 El rey le dijo: ¿No ha quedado nadie de la casa de Saúl, a quien haga yo misericordia de Dios? Y Siba respondió al rey: Aún ha quedado un hijo de Jonatán, lisiado de los pies. | 3 Der König sprach: Ist da noch jemand vom Hause Sauls, damit ich Gottes Barmherzigkeit an ihm tue? Ziba sprach zum König: Es ist noch ein Sohn Jonatans da, lahm an den Füßen. |

And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo-debar.
| 4 Entonces el rey le preguntó: ¿Dónde está? Y Siba respondió al rey: He aquí, está en casa de Maquir hijo de Amiel, en Lodebar. | 4 Der König sprach zu ihm: Wo ist er? Ziba sprach zum König: Siehe, er ist in Lo-Dabar im Hause Machirs, des Sohnes Ammïls. |

Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lo-debar.
| 5 Entonces envió el rey David, y le trajo de la casa de Maquir hijo de Amiel, de Lodebar. | 5 Da sandte der König David hin und ließ ihn holen von Lo-Dabar aus dem Hause Machirs, des Sohnes Ammïls. |

Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!
| 6 Y vino Mefi-boset, hijo de Jonatán hijo de Saúl, a David, y se postró sobre su rostro e hizo reverencia. Y dijo David: Mefi-boset. Y él respondió: He aquí tu siervo. | 6 Als nun Mefi-Boschet, der Sohn Jonatans, des Sohnes Sauls, zu David kam, fiel er auf sein Angesicht und huldigte ihm. David aber sprach: Mefi-Boschet! Er sprach: Hier bin ich, dein Knecht. |

And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
| 7 Y le dijo David: No tengas temor, porque yo a la verdad haré contigo misericordia por amor de Jonatán tu padre, y te devolveré todas las tierras de Saúl tu padre; y tú comerás siempre a mi mesa. | 7 David sprach zu ihm: Fürchte dich nicht, denn ich will Barmherzigkeit an dir tun um deines Vaters Jonatan willen und will dir den ganzen Besitz deines Vaters Saul zurückgeben; du aber sollst täglich an meinem Tisch essen. |

And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
| 8 Y él inclinándose, dijo: ¿Quién es tu siervo, para que mires a un perro muerto como yo? | 8 Er aber fiel nieder und sprach: Wer bin ich, dein Knecht, daß du dich wendest zu einem toten Hunde, wie ich es bin? |

Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
| 9 Entonces el rey llamó a Siba siervo de Saúl, y le dijo: Todo lo que fue de Saúl y de toda su casa, yo lo he dado al hijo de tu señor. | 9 Da rief der König den Ziba, den Knecht Sauls, und sprach zu ihm: Alles, was Saul gehört hat und seinem ganzen Hause, hab ich dem Sohn deines Herrn gegeben. |

Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
| 10 Tú, pues, le labrarás las tierras, tú con tus hijos y tus siervos, y almacenarás los frutos, para que el hijo de tu señor tenga pan para comer; pero Mefi-boset el hijo de tu señor comerá siempre a mi mesa. Y tenía Siba quince hijos y veinte siervos. | 10 So bearbeite ihm nun seinen Acker, du und deine Söhne und deine Knechte, und bring die Ernte ein, damit es das Brot sei des Sohnes deines Herrn und er sich davon nähre; aber Mefi-Boschet, der Sohn deines Herrn, soll täglich an meinem Tisch essen. Ziba aber hatte fünfzehn Söhne und zwanzig Knechte. |

Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
| 11 Y respondió Siba al rey: Conforme a todo lo que ha mandado mi señor el rey a su siervo, así lo hará tu siervo. Mefi-boset, dijo el rey, comerá a mi mesa, como uno de los hijos del rey. | 11 Und Ziba sprach zum König: Ganz so, wie mein Herr, der König, seinem Knechte geboten hat, wird dein Knecht tun. Und Mefi-Boschet, sprach David, esse an meinem Tische wie einer der Königssöhne. |

And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
| 12 Y tenía Mefi-boset un hijo pequeño, que se llamaba Micaía. Y toda la familia de la casa de Siba eran siervos de Mefi-boset. | 12 Und Mefi-Boschet hatte einen kleinen Sohn, der hieß Micha. Und alle, die im Hause Zibas wohnten, dienten Mefi-Boschet. |

So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet. | 13 Y moraba Mefi-boset en Jerusalén, porque comía siempre a la mesa del rey; y estaba lisiado de ambos pies. | 13 Mefi-Boschet aber wohnte hinfort in Jerusalem, denn er aß täglich an des Königs Tisch. Und er war lahm an seinen beiden Füßen. |
