And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
| 1 Habló David a Jehová las palabras de este cántico, el día que Jehová le había librado de la mano de todos sus enemigos, y de la mano de Saúl. | 1 Und David redete vor dem HERRN die Worte dieses Liedes zur Zeit, als ihn der HERR errettet hatte aus der Hand aller seiner Feinde und aus der Hand Sauls, und sprach: |

And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
| 2 Dijo:
Jehová es mi roca y mi fortaleza, y mi libertador; | 2 Der HERR ist mein Fels und meine Burgund mein Erretter. |

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
| 3 Dios mío, fortaleza mía, en él confiaré;
Mi escudo, y el fuerte de mi salvación, mi alto refugio;
Salvador mío; de violencia me libraste. | 3 Gott ist mein Hort, auf den ich traue, mein Schild und Berg meines Heils, mein Schutz und meine Zuflucht, mein Heiland, der du mir hilfst vor Gewalt. |

I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
| 4 Invocaré a Jehová, quien es digno de ser alabado,
Y seré salvo de mi enemigos. | 4 Ich rufe an den HERRN, den Hochgelobten, so werde ich vor meinen Feinden errettet. |

When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
| 5 Me rodearon ondas de muerte,
Y torrentes de perversidad me atemorizaron. | 5 Es hatten mich umfangen die Wogen des Todes, und die Fluten des Unheils erschreckten mich. |

The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
| 6 Ligaduras del Seol me rodearon;
Tendieron sobre mí lazos de muerte. | 6 Des Totenreichs Bande umfingen mich, und des Todes Stricke überwältigten mich. |

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
| 7 En mi angustia invoqué a Jehová,
Y clamé a mi Dios;
El oyó mi voz desde su templo,
Y mi clamor llegó a sus oídos. | 7 Als mir angst war, rief ich den HERRN an und schrie zu meinem Gott. Da erhörte er meine Stimme von seinem Tempel, und mein Schreien kam vor ihn zu seinen Ohren. |

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
| 8 La tierra fue conmovida, y tembló,
Y se conmovieron los cimientos de los cielos;
Se estremecieron, porque se indignó él. | 8 Die Erde bebte und wankte, die Grundfesten des Himmels bewegten sich und bebten, da er zornig war. |

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
| 9 Humo subió de su nariz,
Y de su boca fuego consumidor;
Carbones fueron por él encendidos. | 9 Rauch stieg auf von seiner Nase und verzehrend Feuer aus seinem Munde, Flammen sprühten von ihm aus. |

He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
| 10 E inclinó los cielos, y descendió;
Y había tinieblas debajo de sus pies. | 10 Er neigte den Himmel und fuhr herab, und Dunkel war unter seinen Füßen. |

And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
| 11 Y cabalgó sobre un querubín, y voló;
Voló sobre las alas del viento. | 11 Und er fuhr auf dem Cherub und flog daher, und er schwebte auf den Fittichen des Windes. |

And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
| 12 Puso tinieblas por su escondedero alrededor de sí;
Oscuridad de aguas y densas nubes. | 12 Er machte Finsternis ringsum zu seinem Zelt und schwarze, dicke Wolken. |

Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
| 13 Por el resplandor de su presencia se encendieron carbones ardientes. | 13 Aus dem Glanz vor ihm brach hervor flammendes Feuer. |

The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
| 14 Y tronó desde los cielos Jehová,
Y el Altísimo dio su voz; | 14 Der HERR donnerte vom Himmel, und der Höchste ließ seine Stimme erschallen. |

And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
| 15 Envió sus saetas, y los dispersó;
Y lanzó relámpagos, y los destruyó. | 15 Er schoß seine Pfeile und streute sie aus, er sandte Blitze und jagte sie dahin. |
| 16
And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
| 16 Entonces aparecieron los torrentes de las aguas,
Y quedaron al descubierto los cimientos del mundo;
A la reprensión de Jehová,
Por el soplo del aliento de su nariz. | 16 Da sah man das Bett des Meeres, und des Erdbodens Grund ward aufgedeckt bei dem Schelten des HERRN, vor dem Odem und Schnauben seines Zornes. |

He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
| 17 Envió desde lo alto y me tomó;
Me sacó de las muchas aguas. | 17 Er streckte seine Hand aus von der Höhe und faßte mich und zog mich aus großen Wassern. |

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
| 18 Me libró de poderoso enemigo,
Y de los que me aborrecían, aunque eran más fuertes que yo. | 18 Er errettete mich von meinen starken Feinden, von meinen Hassern, die mir zu mächtig waren; |

They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
| 19 Me asaltaron en el día de mi quebranto;
Mas Jehová fue mi apoyo, | 19 sie überwältigten mich zur Zeit meines Unglücks, aber der HERR ward mein Halt. |

He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
| 20 Y me sacó a lugar espacioso;
Mi libró, porque se agradó de mí. | 20 Er führte mich hinaus ins Weite, er riß mich heraus; denn er hatte Lust zu mir. |

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
| 21 Jehová me ha premiado conforme a mi justicia;
Conforme a la limpieza de mis manos me ha recompensado. | 21 Der HERR tut wohl an mir nach meiner Gerechtigkeit; er vergilt mir nach der Reinheit meiner Hände. |

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
| 22 Porque yo he guardado los caminos de Jehová,
Y no me aparté impíamente de mi Dios. | 22 Denn ich halte die Wege des HERRN und bin nicht gottlos wider meinen Gott. |

For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
| 23 Pues todos sus decretos estuvieron delante de mí,
Y no me he apartado de sus estatutos. | 23 Denn alle seine Rechte hab ich vor Augen, und seine Gebote werfe ich nicht von mir, |

I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
| 24 Fui recto para con él,
Y me he guardado de mi maldad; | 24 sondern ich bin ohne Tadel vor ihm und hüte mich vor Schuld. |

Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
| 25 Por lo cual me ha recompensado Jehová conforme a mi justicia;
Conforme a la limpieza de mis manos delante de su vista. | 25 Darum vergilt mir der HERR nach meiner Gerechtigkeit, nach der Reinheit meiner Hände vor seinen Augen. |

With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
| 26 Con el misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso,
Y recto para con el hombre íntegro. | 26 Gegen die Heiligen bist du heilig, gegen die Treuen bist du treu, |

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
| 27 Limpio te mostrarás para con el limpio,
Y rígido serás para con el perverso. | 27 gegen die Reinen bist du rein, und gegen die Verkehrten bist du verkehrt. |

And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
| 28 Porque tú salvas al pueblo afligido,
Mas tus ojos están sobre los altivos para abatirlos. | 28 Denn du hilfst dem elenden Volk, und die Augen aller Stolzen erniedrigest du. |

For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
| 29 Tú eres mi lámpara, oh Jehová;
Mi Dios alumbrará mis tinieblas. | 29 Ja, du, HERR, bist meine Leuchte; der HERR macht meine Finsternis licht. |

For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
| 30 Contigo desbarataré ejércitos,
Y con mi Dios asaltaré muros. | 30 Denn mit dir kann ich Kriegsvolk zerschlagen und mit meinem Gott über Mauern springen. |

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
| 31 En cuanto a Dios, perfecto es su camino,
Y acrisolada la palabra de Jehová.
Escudo es a todos los que en él esperan. | 31 Gottes Wege sind vollkommen, des HERRN Worte sind durchläutert. Er ist ein Schild allen, die ihm vertrauen. |

For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
| 32 Porque ¿quién es Dios, sino sólo Jehová?
¿Y qué roca hay fuera de nuestro Dios? | 32 Denn wer ist Gott, wenn nicht der HERR? Und wer ist ein Fels, wenn nicht unser Gott? |

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
| 33 Dios es el que me ciñe de fuerza,
Y quien despeja mi camino; | 33 Gott stärkt mich mit Kraft und weist mir den rechten Weg. |

He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
| 34 Quien hace mis pies como de ciervas,
Y me hace estar firme sobre mis alturas; | 34 Er macht meine Füße gleich den Hirschen und stellt mich auf meine Höhen. |

He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
| 35 Quien adiestra mis manos para la batalla,
De manera que se doble el arco de bronce con mis brazos. | 35 Er lehrt meine Hände streiten und meinen Arm den ehernen Bogen spannen. |

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
| 36 Me diste asimismo el escudo de tu salvación,
Y tu benignidad me ha engrandecido. | 36 Du gibst mir den Schild deines Heils, und deine Huld macht mich groß. |

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
| 37 Tú ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí,
Y mis pies no han resbalado. | 37 Du gibst meinen Schritten weiten Raum, daß meine Knöchel nicht wanken. |

I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
| 38 Perseguiré a mis enemigos, y los destruiré,
Y no volveré hasta acabarlos. | 38 Meinen Feinden jagte ich nach und vertilgte sie, und ich kehre nicht um, bis ich sie umgebracht habe. |

And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
| 39 Los consumiré y los heriré, de modo que no se levanten;
Caerán debajo de mis pies. | 39 Ich brachte sie um und hab sie zerschmettert, daß sie nicht mehr aufstehen können; sie sind unter meine Füße gefallen. |

For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
| 40 Pues me ceñiste de fuerzas para la pelea;
Has humillado a mis enemigos debajo de mí, | 40 Du hast mich gerüstet mit Stärke zum Streit; du kannst mir unterwerfen, die sich gegen mich erheben. |

Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
| 41 Y has hecho que mis enemigos me vuelvan las espaldas,
Para que yo destruyese a los que me aborrecen. | 41 Du hast meine Feinde zur Flucht gewandt,daß ich vernichte, die mich hassen. |

They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
| 42 Clamaron, y no hubo quien los salvase;
Aun a Jehová, mas no les oyó. | 42 Sie sehen sich um - aber da ist kein Helfer - nach dem HERRN, aber er antwortet ihnen nicht. |

Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
| 43 Como polvo de la tierra los molí;
Como lodo de las calles los pisé y los trituré. | 43 Ich will sie zerstoßen zu Staub der Erde, wie Dreck auf der Gasse will ich sie zerstäuben und zertreten. |

Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
| 44 Me has librado de las contiendas del pueblo;
Me guardaste para que fuese cabeza de naciones;
Pueblo que yo no conocía me servirá. | 44 Du hast mir aus dem Aufruhr meines Volkes geholfen und machst mich zum Haupt über Heiden; ein Volk, das ich nicht kannte, dient mir. |

Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
| 45 Los hijos de extraños se someterán a mí;
Al oir de mí, me obedecerán. | 45 Die Söhne der Fremde huldigen mir und gehorchen mir mit gehorsamen Ohren. |

Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
| 46 Los extraños se debilitarán,
Y saldrán temblando de sus encierros. | 46 Die Söhne der Fremde verschmachten und kommen mit Zittern aus ihren Burgen. |

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
| 47 Viva Jehová, y bendita sea mi roca,
Y engrandecido sea el Dios de mi salvación. | 47 Der HERR lebt, und gelobt sei mein Fels, und Gott, der Fels meines Heils, sei hoch erhoben, |

It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
| 48 El Dios que venga mis agravios,
Y sujeta pueblos debajo de mí; | 48 der Gott, der mir Vergeltung schafft und mir die Völker unterwirft. |

And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
| 49 El que me libra de enemigos,
Y aun me exalta sobre los que se levantan contra mí;
Me libraste del varón violento. | 49 Er hilft mir aus von meinen Feinden. Du erhöhst mich über die, die sich gegen mich erheben, vor dem Mann der Gewalttat rettest du mich. |

Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
| 50 Por tanto, yo te confesaré entre las naciones, oh Jehová,
Y cantaré a tu nombre. | 50 Darum will ich dir danken, HERR, unter den Heiden und deinem Namen lobsingen, |

He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore. | 51 El salva gloriosamente a su rey,
Y usa de misericordia para con su ungido,
A David y a su descendencia para siempre. | 51 der seinem Könige großes Heil gibt und Gnade erweist seinem Gesalbten, David und seinem Hause ewiglich. |
