Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.
| 1 Hubo hambre en los días de David por tres años consecutivos. Y David consultó a Jehová, y Jehová le dijo: Es por causa de Saúl, y por aquella casa de sangre, por cuanto mató a los gabaonitas. | 1 Es war eine Hungersnot zu Davids Zeiten drei Jahre nacheinander. Und David suchte das Angesicht des HERRN, und der HERR sprach: Auf Saul und auf seinem Hause liegt eine Blutschuld, weil er die Gibeoniter getötet hat. |

And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.)
| 2 Entonces el rey llamó a los gabaonitas, y les habló. (Los gabaonitas no eran de los hijos de Israel, sino del resto de los amorreos, a los cuales los hijos de Israel habían hecho juramento; pero Saúl había procurado matarlos en su celo por los hijos de Israel y de Judá. | 2 Da ließ der König die Gibeoniter rufen und sprach mit ihnen. Die Gibeoniter aber gehörten nicht zu den Israeliten, sondern waren übriggeblieben von den Amoritern. Und die Israeliten hatten einen Bund mit ihnen geschlossen; jedoch suchte Saul sie auszurotten in seinem Eifer für Israel und Juda. |

Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?
| 3 Dijo, pues, David a los gabaonitas: ¿Qué haré por vosotros, o qué satisfacción os daré, para que bendigáis la heredad de Jehová? | 3 Da sprach David zu den Gibeonitern: Was soll ich für euch tun? Und womit soll ich Sühne schaffen, daß ihr das Erbteil des HERRN segnet? |

And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.
| 4 Y los gabaonitas le respondieron: No tenemos nosotros querella sobre plata ni sobre oro con Saúl y con su casa; ni queremos que muera hombre de Israel. Y él les dijo: Lo que vosotros dijereis, haré. | 4 Die Gibeoniter sprachen zu ihm: Es ist uns nicht um Gold noch Silber zu tun bei Saul und seinem Hause, auch steht es uns nicht zu, jemand zu töten in Israel. Er sprach: Was wollt ihr dann, daß ich für euch tun soll? |

And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel,
| 5 Ellos respondieron al rey: De aquel hombre que nos destruyó, y que maquinó contra nosotros para exterminarnos sin dejar nada de nosotros en todo el territorio de Israel, | 5 Sie sprachen zum König: Von dem Mann, der uns zunichte gemacht hat und der uns vertilgen wollte, daß uns nichts bleibe in allen Landen Israels - |

Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.
| 6 dénsenos siete varones de sus hijos, para que los ahorquemos delante de Jehová en Gabaa de Saúl, el escogido de Jehová. Y el rey dijo: Yo los daré. | 6 aus seinem Hause gebt uns sieben Männer, damit wir sie aufhängen vor dem HERRN in Gibeon, auf dem Berge des HERRN. Der König sprach: Ich will sie euch herausgeben. |

But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the LORD's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.
| 7 Y perdonó el rey a Mefi-boset hijo de Jonatán, hijo de Saúl, por el juramento de Jehová que hubo entre ellos, entre David y Jonatán hijo de Saúl. | 7 Aber der König verschonte Mefi- Boschet*, den Sohn Jonatans, des Sohnes Sauls, um des Eides willen, den David und Jonatan, der Sohn Sauls, einander vor dem HERRN geschworen hatten. |

But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
| 8 Pero tomó el rey a dos hijos de Rizpa hija de Aja, los cuales ella había tenido de Saúl, Armoni y Mefi-boset, y a cinco hijos de Mical hija de Saúl, los cuales ella había tenido de Adriel hijo de Barzilai meholatita, | 8 Aber die beiden Söhne der Rizpa, der Tochter Ajjas, die sie Saul geboren hatte, Armoni und Mefi-Boschet, dazu die fünf Söhne der Merab, der Tochter Sauls, die sie dem Adrïl geboren hatte, dem Sohn Barsillais aus Mehola, nahm der König |

And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.
| 9 y los entregó en manos de los gabaonitas, y ellos los ahorcaron en el monte delante de Jehová; y así murieron juntos aquellos siete, los cuales fueron muertos en los primeros días de la siega, al comenzar la siega de la cebada. | 9 und gab sie in die Hand der Gibeoniter. Die hängten sie auf dem Berge vor dem HERRN auf. So kamen diese sieben auf einmal um und starben in den ersten Tagen der Ernte, wenn die Gerstenernte anfängt. |

And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.
| 10 Entonces Rizpa hija de Aja tomó una tela de cilicio y la tendió para sí sobre el peñasco, desde el principio de la siega hasta que llovió sobre ellos agua del cielo; y no dejó que ninguna ave del cielo se posase sobre ellos de día, ni fieras del campo de noche. | 10 Da nahm Rizpa, die Tochter Ajjas, ein Sackgewand und breitete es für sich aus auf dem Fels am Anfang der Ernte, bis Regen vom Himmel auf die Toten troff, und ließ am Tage die Vögel des Himmels nicht an sie kommen noch des Nachts die Tiere des Feldes. |

And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.
| 11 Y fue dicho a David lo que hacía Rizpa hija de Aja, concubina de Saúl. | 11 Und es wurde David angesagt, was Rizpa, die Tochter Ajjas, Sauls Nebenfrau, getan hatte. |

And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh-gilead, which had stolen them from the street of Beth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa:
| 12 Entonces David fue y tomó los huesos de Saúl y los huesos de Jonatán su hijo, de los hombres de Jabes de Galaad, que los habían hurtado de la plaza de Bet-sán, donde los habían colgado los filisteos, cuando los filisteos mataron a Saúl en Gilboa; | 12 Und David ging hin und nahm die Gebeine Sauls und die Gebeine seines Sohnes Jonatan von den Bürgern von Jabesch in Gilead. And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son; and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged.
| 13 e hizo llevar de allí los huesos de Saúl y los huesos de Jonatán su hijo; y recogieron también los huesos de los ahorcados. | 13 Und David brachte sie von dort herauf, und sie sammelten die Gebeine der Gehängten |

And the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the sepulchre of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God was intreated for the land.
| 14 Y sepultaron los huesos de Saúl y los de su hijo Jonatán en tierra de Benjamín, en Zela, en el sepulcro de Cis su padre; e hicieron todo lo que el rey había mandado. Y Dios fue propicio a la tierra después de esto. | 14 und begruben sie mit den Gebeinen Sauls und seines Sohnes Jonatan im Lande Benjamin in Zela im Grabe seines Vaters Kisch und taten alles, wie der König geboten hatte. Danach wurde Gott dem Lande wieder gnädig. |

Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint.
| 15 Volvieron los filisteos a hacer la guerra a Israel, y descendió David y sus siervos con él, y pelearon con los filisteos; y David se cansó. | 15 Es erhob sich aber wieder ein Krieg der Philister mit Israel. Und David zog hinab und seine Männer mit ihm, und sie blieben in Gob, um mit den Philistern zu kämpfen. Und David wurde müde. |

And Ishbi-benob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to have slain David.
| 16 E Isbi-benob, uno de los descendientes de los gigantes, cuya lanza pesaba trescientos siclos de bronce, y quien estaba ceñido con una espada nueva, trató de matar a David; | 16 Aber da war einer der Riesensöhne, und das Gewicht seines Speers war dreihundert Lot Kupfer, dazu hatte er eine neue Rüstung. Der wollte David erschlagen. |

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the light of Israel.
| 17 mas Abisai hijo de Sarvia llegó en su ayuda, e hirió al filisteo y lo mató. Entonces los hombres de David le juraron, diciendo: Nunca más de aquí en adelante saldrás con nosotros a la batalla, no sea que apagues la lámpara de Israel. | 17 Aber Abischai, der Sohn der Zeruja, half David und schlug den Philister tot. And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.
| 18 Otra segunda guerra hubo después en Gob contra los filisteos; entonces Sibecai husatita mató a Saf, quien era uno de los descendientes de los gigantes. | 18 Danach erhob sich noch ein Krieg bei Gob mit den Philistern. And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.
| 19 Hubo otra vez guerra en Gob contra los filisteos, en la cual Elhanán, hijo de Jaare-oregim de Belén, mató a Goliat geteo, el asta de cuya lanza era como el rodillo de un telar. | 19 Und es erhob sich noch ein Krieg bei Gob mit den Philistern. And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
| 20 Después hubo otra guerra en Gat, donde había un hombre de gran estatura, el cual tenía doce dedos en las manos, y otros doce en los pies, veinticuatro por todos; y también era descendiente de los gigantes. | 20 Und es erhob sich noch ein Krieg bei Gat. And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him.
| 21 Este desafió a Israel, y lo mató Jonatán, hijo de Simea hermano de David. | 21 Und als er Israel hohnsprach, erschlug ihn Jonatan, der Sohn Schammas, der ein Bruder Davids war. |

These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants. | 22 Estos cuatro eran descendientes de los gigantes en Gat, los cuales cayeron por mano de David y por mano de sus siervos.
