And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.
| 1 Cuando David pasó un poco más allá de la cumbre del monte, he aquí Siba el criado de Mefi-boset, que salía a recibirle con un par de asnos enalbardados, y sobre ellos doscientos panes, cien racimos de pasas, cien panes de higos secos, y un cuero de vino. | 1 Und als David ein wenig über die Höhe hinabgegangen war, siehe, da begegnete ihm Ziba, der Knecht Mefi- Boschets, mit einem Paar gesattelter Esel; darauf waren zweihundert Brote und hundert Rosinenkuchen und hundert frische Früchte und ein Schlauch Wein. |

And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses be for the king's household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may drink.
| 2 Y dijo el rey a Siba: ¿Qué es esto? Y Siba respondió: Los asnos son para que monte la familia del rey, los panes y las pasas para que coman los criados, y el vino para que beban los que se cansen en el desierto. | 2 Da sprach der König zu Ziba: Was willst du damit machen? Ziba sprach: Die Esel sollen für das Haus des Königs sein, um darauf zu reiten, und die Brote und die Früchte sind für die Leute zum Essen und der Wein zum Trinken, wenn sie müde werden in der Wüste. |

And the king said, And where is thy master's son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for he said, To day shall the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.
| 3 Y dijo el rey: ¿Dónde está el hijo de tu señor? Y Siba respondió al rey: He aquí él se ha quedado en Jerusalén, porque ha dicho: Hoy me devolverá la casa de Israel el reino de mi padre. | 3 Der König sprach: Wo ist der Sohn deines Herrn? Ziba sprach zum König: Siehe, er blieb in Jerusalem; denn er denkt: Heute wird mir das Haus Israel meines Vaters Königtum zurückgeben. |

Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine are all that pertained unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I humbly beseech thee that I may find grace in thy sight, my lord, O king.
| 4 Entonces el rey dijo a Siba: He aquí, sea tuyo todo lo que tiene Mefi-boset. Y respondió Siba inclinándose: Rey señor mío, halle yo gracia delante de ti. | 4 Der König sprach zu Ziba: Siehe, es soll dein sein alles, was Mefi-Boschet hat. Ziba sprach: Ich neige mich; laß mich auch ferner Gnade finden vor dir, mein Herr und König. |

And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.
| 5 Y vino el rey David hasta Bahurim; y he aquí salía uno de la familia de la casa de Saúl, el cual se llamaba Simei hijo de Gera; y salía maldiciendo, | 5 Als aber der König David nach Bahurim kam, siehe, da kam ein Mann von dort heraus, vom Geschlecht des Hauses Saul, der hieß Schimi, der Sohn Geras; der kam heraus und fluchte |

And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.
| 6 y arrojando piedras contra David, y contra todos los siervos del rey David; y todo el pueblo y todos los hombres valientes estaban a su derecha y a su izquierda. | 6 und warf mit Steinen nach David und allen Großen des Königs David, obwohl das ganze Kriegsvolk und alle seine Helden zu seiner Rechten und Linken waren. |

And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial:
| 7 Y decía Simei, maldiciéndole: ¡Fuera, fuera, hombre sanguinario y perverso! | 7 So aber rief Schimi, als er fluchte: Hinaus, hinaus, du Bluthund, du ruchloser Mann! |

The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.
| 8 Jehová te ha dado el pago de toda la sangre de la casa de Saúl, en lugar del cual tú has reinado, y Jehová ha entregado el reino en mano de tu hijo Absalón; y hete aquí sorprendido en tu maldad, porque eres hombre sanguinario. | 8 Der HERR hat über dich gebracht alles Blut des Hauses Sauls, an dessen Statt du König geworden bist. Jetzt hat der HERR das Königtum gegeben in die Hand deines Sohnes Absalom; und siehe, nun steckst du in deinem Unglück, denn du bist ein Bluthund. |

Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.
| 9 Entonces Abisai hijo de Sarvia dijo al rey: ¿Por qué maldice este perro muerto a mi señor el rey? Te ruego que me dejes pasar, y le quitaré la cabeza. | 9 Aber Abischai, der Sohn der Zeruja, sprach zu dem König: Sollte dieser tote Hund meinem Herrn, dem König, fluchen dürfen? Ich will hingehen und ihm den Kopf abhauen. |

And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?
| 10 Y el rey respondió: ¿Qué tengo yo con vosotros, hijos de Sarvia? Si él así maldice, es porque Jehová le ha dicho que maldiga a David. ¿Quién, pues, le dirá: ¿Por qué lo haces así? | 10 Der König sprach: Ihr Söhne der Zeruja, was hab ich mit euch zu schaffen? Laßt ihn fluchen; denn der HERR hat ihm geboten: Fluche David! Wer darf dann sagen: Warum tust du das? |

And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.
| 11 Y dijo David a Abisai y a todos sus siervos: He aquí, mi hijo que ha salido de mis entrañas, acecha mi vida; ¿cuánto más ahora un hijo de Benjamín? Dejadle que maldiga, pues Jehová se lo ha dicho. | 11 Und David sprach zu Abischai und zu allen seinen Großen: Siehe, mein Sohn, der von meinem Leibe gekommen ist, trachtet mir nach dem Leben; warum nicht auch jetzt der Benjaminiter? Laßt ihn ruhig fluchen, denn der HERR hat's ihm geboten. |

It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.
| 12 Quizá mirará Jehová mi aflicción, y me dará Jehová bien por sus maldiciones de hoy. | 12 Vielleicht wird der HERR mein Elend ansehen und mir mit Gutem vergelten sein heutiges Fluchen. |

And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill's side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.
| 13 Y mientras David y los suyos iban por el camino, Simei iba por el lado del monte delante de él, andando y maldiciendo, y arrojando piedras delante de él, y esparciendo polvo. | 13 So ging David mit seinen Leuten des Weges; aber Schimi ging am Hang des Berges entlang, ihm gegenüber, und fluchte und warf mit Steinen nach ihm und bewarf ihn mit Erdklumpen. |

And the king, and all the people that were with him, came weary, and refreshed themselves there.
| 14 Y el rey y todo el pueblo que con él estaba, llegaron fatigados, y descansaron allí. | 14 Und der König kam mit allem Volk, das bei ihm war, müde an den Jordan und ruhte dort aus. |

And Absalom, and all the people the men of Israel, came to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel with him.
| 15 Y Absalón y toda la gente suya, los hombres de Israel, entraron en Jerusalén, y con él Ahitofel. | 15 Aber Absalom und alles Volk, die Männer Israels, kamen nach Jerusalem und Ahitofel mit ihm. |

And it came to pass, when Hushai the Archite, David's friend, was come unto Absalom, that Hushai said unto Absalom, God save the king, God save the king.
| 16 Aconteció luego, que cuando Husai arquita, amigo de David, vino al encuentro de Absalón, dijo Husai: ¡Viva el rey, viva el rey! | 16 Als aber Huschai, der Arkiter, Davids Freund, zu Absalom hineinkam, rief er Absalom zu: Es lebe der König! Es lebe der König! |

And Absalom said to Hushai, Is this thy kindness to thy friend? why wentest thou not with thy friend?
| 17 Y Absalón dijo a Husai: ¿Es este tu agradecimiento para con tu amigo? ¿Por qué no fuiste con tu amigo? | 17 Absalom aber sprach zu Huschai: Ist das deine Liebe zu deinem Freunde? Warum bist du nicht mit deinem Freunde gezogen? |

And Hushai said unto Absalom, Nay; but whom the LORD, and this people, and all the men of Israel, choose, his will I be, and with him will I abide.
| 18 Y Husai respondió a Absalón: No, sino que de aquel que eligiere Jehová y este pueblo y todos los varones de Israel, de aquél seré yo, y con él me quedaré. | 18 Huschai aber sprach zu Absalom: Nein! sondern wen der HERR erwählt und dies Volk und alle Männer in Israel, zu dem gehöre ich und bei dem will ich bleiben. |

And again, whom should I serve? should I not serve in the presence of his son? as I have served in thy father's presence, so will I be in thy presence.
| 19 ¿Y a quién había yo de servir? ¿No es a su hijo? Como he servido delante de tu padre, así seré delante de ti. | 19 Zum andern, wem diene ich? Ist es nicht sein Sohn, dem ich diene? Wie ich deinem Vater gedient habe, so will ich auch vor dir sein. |

Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.
| 20 Entonces dijo Absalón a Ahitofel: Dad vuestro consejo sobre lo que debemos hacer. | 20 Und Absalom sprach zu Ahitofel: Gebt euren Rat, was sollen wir tun? |

And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father's concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that are with thee be strong.
| 21 Y Ahitofel dijo a Absalón: Llégate a las concubinas de tu padre, que él dejó para guardar la casa; y todo el pueblo de Israel oirá que te has hecho aborrecible a tu padre, y así se fortalecerán las manos de todos los que están contigo. | 21 Ahitofel sprach zu Absalom: Geh ein zu den Nebenfrauen deines Vaters, die er zurückgelassen hat, um das Haus zu bewahren, so wird ganz Israel hören, daß du dich bei deinem Vater in Verruf gebracht hast; dann werden alle, die zu dir stehen, desto kühner werden. |

So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.
| 22 Entonces pusieron para Absalón una tienda sobre el terrado, y se llegó Absalón a las concubinas de su padre, ante los ojos de todo Israel. | 22 Da machten sie Absalom ein Zelt auf dem Dach, und Absalom ging zu den Nebenfrauen seines Vaters vor den Augen ganz Israels. |

And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom. | 23 Y el consejo que daba Ahitofel en aquellos días, era como si se consultase la palabra de Dios. Así era todo consejo de Ahitofel, tanto con David como con Absalón. | 23 Wenn damals Ahitofel einen Rat gab, dann war das, als wenn man Gott um etwas befragt hätte; so viel galten alle Ratschläge Ahitofels bei David und bei Absalom. |
