And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
| 1 Jehová envió a Natán a David; y viniendo a él, le dijo: Había dos hombres en una ciudad, el uno rico, y el otro pobre. | 1 Und der HERR sandte Nathan zu David. Als der zu ihm kam, sprach er zu ihm: Es waren zwei Männer in einer Stadt, der eine reich, der andere arm. |

The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
| 2 El rico tenía numerosas ovejas y vacas; | 2 Der Reiche hatte sehr viele Schafe und Rinder; |

But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
| 3 pero el pobre no tenía más que una sola corderita, que él había comprado y criado, y que había crecido con él y con sus hijos juntamente, comiendo de su bocado y bebiendo de su vaso, y durmiendo en su seno; y la tenía como a una hija. | 3 aber der Arme hatte nichts als ein einziges kleines Schäflein, das er gekauft hatte. Und er nährte es, daß es groß wurde bei ihm zugleich mit seinen Kindern. Es aß von seinem Bissen und trank aus seinem Becher und schlief in seinem Schoß, und er hielt's wie eine Tochter. |

And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
| 4 Y vino uno de camino al hombre rico; y éste no quiso tomar de sus ovejas y de sus vacas, para guisar para el caminante que había venido a él, sino que tomó la oveja de aquel hombre pobre, y la preparó para aquel que había venido a él. | 4 Als aber zu dem reichen Mann ein Gast kam, brachte er's nicht über sich, von seinen Schafen und Rindern zu nehmen, um dem Gast etwas zuzurichten, der zu ihm gekommen war, sondern er nahm das Schaf des armen Mannes und richtete es dem Mann zu, der zu ihm gekommen war. |

And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
| 5 Entonces se encendió el furor de David en gran manera contra aquel hombre, y dijo a Natán: Vive Jehová, que el que tal hizo es digno de muerte. | 5 Da geriet David in großen Zorn über den Mann und sprach zu Nathan: So wahr der HERR lebt: der Mann ist ein Kind des Todes, der das getan hat! |

And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
| 6 Y debe pagar la cordera con cuatro tantos, porque hizo tal cosa, y no tuvo misericordia. | 6 Dazu soll er das Schaf vierfach bezahlen, weil er das getan und sein eigenes geschont hat. |

And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
| 7 Entonces dijo Natán a David: Tú eres aquel hombre. Así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel: Yo te ungí por rey sobre Israel, y te libré de la mano de Saúl, | 7 Da sprach Nathan zu David: Du bist der Mann! So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Ich habe dich zum König gesalbt über Israel und habe dich errettet aus der Hand Sauls |

And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
| 8 y te di la casa de tu señor, y las mujeres de tu señor en tu seno; además te di la casa de Israel y de Judá; y si esto fuera poco, te habría añadido mucho más. | 8 und habe dir deines Herrn Haus gegeben, dazu seine Frauen, und habe dir das Haus Israel und Juda gegeben; und ist das zu wenig, will ich noch dies und das dazu tun. |

Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.
| 9 ¿Por qué, pues, tuviste en poco la palabra de Jehová, haciendo lo malo delante de sus ojos? A Urías heteo heriste a espada, y tomaste por mujer a su mujer, y a él lo mataste con la espada de los hijos de Amón. | 9 Warum hast du denn das Wort des HERRN verachtet, daß du getan hast, was ihm mißfiel? Uria, den Hetiter, hast du erschlagen mit dem Schwert, seine Frau hast du dir zur Frau genommen, ihn aber hast du umgebracht durchs Schwert der Ammoniter. |

Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
| 10 Por lo cual ahora no se apartará jamás de tu casa la espada, por cuanto me menospreciaste, y tomaste la mujer de Urías heteo para que fuese tu mujer. | 10 Nun, so soll von deinem Hause das Schwert nimmermehr lassen, weil du mich verachtet und die Frau Urias, des Hetiters, genommen hast, daß sie deine Frau sei. |

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
| 11 Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo haré levantar el mal sobre ti de tu misma casa, y tomaré tus mujeres delante de tus ojos, y las daré a tu prójimo, el cual yacerá con tus mujeres a la vista del sol. | 11 So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will Unheil über dich kommen lassen aus deinem eigenen Hause und will deine Frauen nehmen vor deinen Augen und will sie deinem Nächsten geben, daß er bei ihnen liegen soll an der lichten Sonne. |

For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
| 12 Porque tú lo hiciste en secreto; mas yo haré esto delante de todo Israel y a pleno sol. | 12 Denn du hast's heimlich getan, ich aber will dies tun vor ganz Israel und im Licht der Sonne. |

And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
| 13 Entonces dijo David a Natán: Pequé contra Jehová. Y Natán dijo a David: También Jehová ha remitido tu pecado; no morirás. | 13 Da sprach David zu Nathan: Ich habe gesündigt gegen den HERRN. Nathan sprach zu David: So hat auch der HERR deine Sünde weggenommen; du wirst nicht sterben. |

Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
| 14 Mas por cuanto con este asunto hiciste blasfemar a los enemigos de Jehová, el hijo que te ha nacido ciertamente morirá. | 14 Aber weil du die Feinde des HERRN durch diese Sache zum Lästern gebracht hast, wird der Sohn, der dir geboren ist, des Todes sterben. |

And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.
| 15 Y Natán se volvió a su casa.
Y Jehová hirió al niño que la mujer de Urías había dado a David, y enfermó gravemente. | 15 Und Nathan ging heim. Und der HERR schlug das Kind, das Urias Frau David geboren hatte, so daß es todkrank wurde. |

David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.
| 16 Entonces David rogó a Dios por el niño; y ayunó David, y entró, y pasó la noche acostado en tierra. | 16 Und David suchte Gott um des Knäbleins willen und fastete, und wenn er heimkam, lag er über Nacht auf der Erde. |

And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.
| 17 Y se levantaron los ancianos de su casa, y fueron a él para hacerlo levantar de la tierra; mas él no quiso, ni comió con ellos pan. | 17 Da traten rzu die Ältesten seines Hauses und wollten ihn aufrichten von der Erde; er aber wollte nicht und aß auch nicht mit ihnen. |

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?
| 18 Y al séptimo día murió el niño; y temían los siervos de David hacerle saber que el niño había muerto, diciendo entre sí: Cuando el niño aún vivía, le hablábamos, y no quería oír nuestra voz; ¿cuánto más se afligirá si le decimos que el niño ha muerto? | 18 Am siebenten Tage aber starb das Kind. Und die Männer Davids fürchteten sich, ihm zu sagen, daß das Kind tot sei; denn sie dachten: Siehe, als das Kind noch am Leben war, redeten wir mit ihm, und er hörte nicht auf uns; wie könnten wir ihm nun sagen: Das Kind ist tot! Er könnte ein Unheil anrichten. |

But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
| 19 Mas David, viendo a sus siervos hablar entre sí, entendió que el niño había muerto; por lo que dijo David a sus siervos: ¿Ha muerto el niño? Y ellos respondieron: Ha muerto. | 19 Als aber David sah, daß seine Männer leise redeten, merkte er, daß das Kind tot sei, und sprach zu seinen Männern: Ist das Kind tot? Sie sprachen: Ja. |

Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.
| 20 Entonces David se levantó de la tierra, y se lavó y se ungió, y cambió sus ropas, y entró a la casa de Jehová, y adoró. Después vino a su casa, y pidió, y le pusieron pan, y comió. | 20 Da stand David von der Erde auf und wusch sich und salbte sich und zog andere Kleider an und ging in das Haus des HERRN und betete an. Und als er wieder heimkam, ließ er sich Speise auftragen und aß. |

Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
| 21 Y le dijeron sus siervos: ¿Qué es esto que has hecho? Por el niño, viviendo aún, ayunabas y llorabas; y muerto él, te levantaste y comiste pan. | 21 Da sprachen seine Männer zu ihm: Was soll das, was du tust? Als das Kind lebte, hast du gefastet und geweint; nun es aber gestorben ist, stehst du auf und issest? |

And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
| 22 Y él respondió: Viviendo aún el niño, yo ayunaba y lloraba, diciendo: ¿Quién sabe si Dios tendrá compasión de mí, y vivirá el niño? | 22 Er sprach: Als das Kind noch lebte, fastete ich und weinte; denn ich dachte: Wer weiß, ob mir der HERR nicht gnädig wird und das Kind am Leben bleibt. |

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.
| 23 Mas ahora que ha muerto, ¿para qué he de ayunar? ¿Podré yo hacerle volver? Yo voy a él, mas él no volverá a mí. | 23 Nun es aber tot ist, was soll ich fasten? Kann ich es wieder zurückholen? Ich werde wohl zu ihm fahren; es kommt aber nicht wieder zu mir zurück. |

And David comforted Bath-sheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.
| 24 Y consoló David a Betsabé su mujer, y llegándose a ella durmió con ella; y ella le dio a luz un hijo, y llamó su nombre Salomón, al cual amó Jehová, | 24 Und als David seine Frau Batseba getröstet hatte, ging er zu ihr hinein und wohnte ihr bei. Und sie gebar einen Sohn, den nannte er Salomo. Und der HERR liebte ihn. |

And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD.
| 25 y envió un mensaje por medio de Natán profeta; así llamó su nombre Jedidías, a causa de Jehová. | 25 Und er tat ihn unter die Hand des Propheten Nathan; der nannte ihn Jedidja* um des HERRN willen. *d. . "Geliebter des Herrn ". (vgl. 1. Chr 20,1-3) |

And Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the royal city.
| 26 Joab peleaba contra Rabá de los hijos de Amón, y tomó la ciudad real. | 26 So kämpfte nun Joab gegen Rabba, die Stadt der Ammoniter, und eroberte die Königsstadt |

And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.
| 27 Entonces envió Joab mensajeros a David, diciendo: Yo he puesto sitio a Rabá, y he tomado la ciudad de las aguas. | 27 und sandte Boten zu David und ließ ihm sagen: Ich habe gekämpft gegen Rabba und schon die Wasserstadt eingenommen. |

Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and encamp against the city, and take it: lest I take the city, and it be called after my name.
| 28 Reúne, pues, ahora al pueblo que queda, y acampa contra la ciudad y tómala, no sea que tome yo la ciudad y sea llamada de mi nombre. | 28 So bring nun das übrige Kriegsvolk zusammen und belagere die Stadt und erobere sie, damit nicht ich sie erobere und mein Name über ihr ausgerufen werde. |

And David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.
| 29 Y juntando David a todo el pueblo, fue contra Rabá, y combatió contra ella, y la tomó. | 29 So brachte David das ganze Kriegsvolk zusammen und zog hin und kämpfte gegen Rabba und eroberte es |

And he took their king's crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David's head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.
| 30 Y quitó la corona de la cabeza de su rey, la cual pesaba un talento de oro, y tenía piedras preciosas; y fue puesta sobre la cabeza de David. Y sacó muy grande botín de la ciudad. | 30 und nahm seinem König die Krone vom Haupt; die war an Gewicht einen Zentner Gold schwer, und an ihr war ein Edelstein; und sie wurde David aufs Haupt gesetzt. Und er führte aus der Stadt viel Beute weg. |

And he brought forth the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem. | 31 Sacó además a la gente que estaba en ella, y los puso a trabajar con sierras, con trillos de hierro y hachas de hierro, y además los hizo trabajar en los hornos de ladrillos; y lo mismo hizo a todas las ciudades de los hijos de Amón. Y volvió David con todo el pueblo a Jerusalén. | 31 Aber das Volk darin führte er heraus und stellte sie als Fronarbeiter an die Sägen, die eisernen Pickel und an die eisernen Äxte und ließ sie an den Ziegelöfen arbeiten. So tat er mit allen Städten der Ammoniter. Danach kehrten David und das ganze Kriegsvolk nach Jerusalem zurück. |
