Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.
| 1 Habló Eliseo a aquella mujer a cuyo hijo él había hecho vivir, diciendo: Levántate, vete tú y toda tu casa a vivir donde puedas; porque Jehová ha llamado el hambre, la cual vendrá sobre la tierra por siete años. | 1 Elisa redete mit der Frau, deren Sohn er lebendig gemacht hatte, und sprach: Mach dich auf und zieh fort mit deinem Hause und wohne in der Fremde, wo du kannst; denn der HERR wird eine Hungersnot rufen, die wird ins Land kommen sieben Jahre lang. |

And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.
| 2 Entonces la mujer se levantó, e hizo como el varón de Dios le dijo; y se fue ella con su familia, y vivió en tierra de los filisteos siete años. | 2 Die Frau machte sich auf und tat, wie der Mann Gottes sagte, und zog hin mit ihrem Hause und wohnte im Land der Philister sieben Jahre. |

And it came to pass at the seven years' end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.
| 3 Y cuando habían pasado los siete años, la mujer volvió de la tierra de los filisteos; después salió para implorar al rey por su casa y por sus tierras. | 3 Als aber die sieben Jahre um waren, kam die Frau aus dem Land der Philister zurück. And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.
| 4 Y había el rey hablado con Giezi, criado del varón de Dios, diciéndole: Te ruego que me cuentes todas las maravillas que ha hecho Eliseo. | 4 Der König aber redete mit Gehasi, dem Diener des Mannes Gottes, und sprach: Erzähle mir alle großen Taten, die Elisa getan hat! |

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.
| 5 Y mientras él estaba contando al rey cómo había hecho vivir a un muerto, he aquí que la mujer, a cuyo hijo él había hecho vivir, vino para implorar al rey por su casa y por sus tierras. Entonces dijo Giezi: Rey señor mío, esta es la mujer, y este es su hijo, al cual Eliseo hizo vivir. | 5 Und während er dem König erzählte, daß er einen Toten lebendig gemacht hätte, siehe, da kam eben die Frau dazu, deren Sohn er lebendig gemacht hatte, und rief den König an wegen ihres Hauses und ihres Ackers. Da sprach Gehasi: Mein Herr und König, dies ist die Frau, und dies ist ihr Sohn, den Elisa lebendig gemacht hat. |

And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
| 6 Y preguntando el rey a la mujer, ella se lo contó. Entonces el rey ordenó a un oficial, al cual dijo: Hazle devolver todas las cosas que eran suyas, y todos los frutos de sus tierras desde el día que dejó el país hasta ahora. | 6 Und der König fragte die Frau, und sie erzählte es ihm. Da gab ihr der König einen Kämmerer mit und sprach: Verschaffe ihr alles wieder, was ihr gehört, dazu allen Ertrag des Ackers seit der Zeit, da sie das Land verlassen hat, bis jetzt! |

And Elisha came to Damascus; and Ben-hadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.
| 7 Eliseo se fue luego a Damasco; y Ben-adad rey de Siria estaba enfermo, al cual dieron aviso, diciendo: El varón de Dios ha venido aquí. | 7 Und Elisa kam nach Damaskus. Da lag Ben-Hadad, der König von Aram, krank, und man sagte ihm: Der Mann Gottes ist hierher gekommen. |

And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
| 8 Y el rey dijo a Hazael: Toma en tu mano un presente, y ve a recibir al varón de Dios, y consulta por él a Jehová, diciendo: ¿Sanaré de esta enfermedad? | 8 Da sprach der König zu Hasaël: Nimm Geschenke mit dir und geh dem Mann Gottes entgegen und befrage den HERRN durch ihn, ob ich von dieser Krankheit genesen könne. |

So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels' burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Ben-hadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
| 9 Tomó, pues, Hazael en su mano un presente de entre los bienes de Damasco, cuarenta camellos cargados, y fue a su encuentro, y llegando se puso delante de él, y dijo: Tu hijo Ben-adad rey de Siria me ha enviado a ti, diciendo: ¿Sanaré de esta enfermedad? | 9 Hasaël ging ihm entgegen und nahm Geschenke mit sich und allerlei kostbare Dinge von Damaskus, eine Last für vierzig Kamele. Und als er hinkam, trat er vor Elisa und sprach: Dein Sohn Ben-Hadad, der König von Aram, hat mich zu dir gesandt und läßt dir sagen: Kann ich von dieser Krankheit genesen? |

And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.
| 10 Y Eliseo le dijo: Ve, dile: Seguramente sanarás. Sin embargo, Jehová me ha mostrado que él morirá ciertamente. | 10 Elisa sprach zu ihm: Geh hin und sage ihm: Du wirst genesen! - Aber der HERR hat mir gezeigt, daß er des Todes sterben wird. |

And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept.
| 11 Y el varón de Dios le miró fijamente, y estuvo así hasta hacerlo ruborizarse; luego lloró el varón de Dios. | 11 Und der Mann Gottes schaute starr und lange vor sich hin und weinte. |

And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.
| 12 Entonces le dijo Hazael: ¿Por qué llora mi señor? Y él respondió: Porque sé el mal que harás a los hijos de Israel; a sus fortalezas pegarás fuego, a sus jóvenes matarás a espada, y estrellarás a sus niños, y abrirás el vientre a sus mujeres que estén encintas. | 12 Da sprach Hasaël: Warum weint mein Herr? Er sprach: Ich weiß, was du den Israeliten antun wirst: du wirst ihre festen Städte mit Feuer verbrennen und ihre junge Mannschaft mit dem Schwert erschlagen und ihre jungen Kinder töten und ihre schwangern Frauen aufschlitzen. |

And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
| 13 Y Hazael dijo: Pues, ¿qué es tu siervo, este perro, para que haga tan grandes cosas? Y respondió Eliseo: Jehová me ha mostrado que tú serás rey de Siria. | 13 Hasaël sprach: Was ist dein Knecht, der Hund, daß er so große Dinge tun sollte? Elisa sprach: Der HERR hat mir gezeigt, daß du König über Aram sein wirst. |

So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover.
| 14 Y Hazael se fue, y vino a su señor, el cual le dijo: ¿Qué te ha dicho Eliseo? Y él respondió: Me dijo que seguramente sanarás. | 14 Und er ging weg von Elisa und kam zu seinem Herrn. Der sprach zu ihm: Was sagte dir Elisa? Er sprach: Er sagte mir: Du wirst genesen. |

And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.
| 15 El día siguiente, tomó un paño y lo metió en agua, y lo puso sobre el rostro de Ben-adad, y murió; y reinó Hazael en su lugar. | 15 Am andern Tage aber nahm er die Decke und tauchte sie in Wasser und breitete sie über des Königs Angesicht. Da starb er, und Hasaël wurde König an seiner Statt. |

And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign.
| 16 En el quinto año de Joram hijo de Acab, rey de Israel, y siendo Josafat rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Joram hijo de Josafat, rey de Judá. | 16 Im fünften Jahr Jorams, des Sohnes Ahabs, des Königs von Israel, wurde - Joschafat war noch König von Juda - Joram, der Sohn Joschafats, König von Juda. |

Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
| 17 De treinta y dos años era cuando comenzó a reinar, y ocho años reinó en Jerusalén. | 17 Zweiunddreißig Jahre alt war er, als er König wurde, und er regierte acht Jahre zu Jerusalem |

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the LORD.
| 18 Y anduvo en el camino de los reyes de Israel, como hizo la casa de Acab, porque una hija de Acab fue su mujer; e hizo lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová. | 18 und wandelte auf dem Wege der Könige von Israel, wie das Haus Ahab tat; denn Ahabs Tochter war seine Frau. Und er tat, was dem HERRN mißfiel. |

Yet the LORD would not destroy Judah for David his servant's sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.
| 19 Con todo eso, Jehová no quiso destruir a Judá, por amor a David su siervo, porque había prometido darle lámpara a él y a sus hijos perpetuamente. | 19 Aber der HERR wollte Juda nicht verderben um seines Knechtes David willen, wie er ihm zugesagt hatte, ihm eine Leuchte zu geben und seinen Söhnen immerdar. |

In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves.
| 20 En el tiempo de él se rebeló Edom contra el dominio de Judá, y pusieron rey sobre ellos. | 20 Zu seiner Zeit fielen die Edomiter von Juda ab und setzten einen König über sich. |

So Joram went over to Zair, and all the chariots with him: and he rose by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him about, and the captains of the chariots: and the people fled into their tents.
| 21 Joram, por tanto, pasó a Zair, y todos sus carros con él; y levantándose de noche atacó a los de Edom, los cuales le habían sitiado, y a los capitanes de los carros; y el pueblo huyó a sus tiendas. | 21 Da zog Joram nach Zaïr und alle Wagen mit ihm, und er machte sich des Nachts auf und schlug die Edomiter, die ihn umringt hatten, dazu die Obersten über die Wagen, so daß das Volk in seine Wohnungen floh. |

Yet Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time.
| 22 No obstante, Edom se libertó del dominio de Judá, hasta hoy. También se rebeló Libna en el mismo tiempo. | 22 Doch blieben die Edomiter abtrünnig von Juda bis auf diesen Tag. Auch fiel zur selben Zeit Libna ab. |

And the rest of the acts of Joram, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
| 23 Los demás hechos de Joram, y todo lo que hizo, ¿no están escritos en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá? | 23 Was aber mehr von Joram zu sagen ist und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das steht geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige von Juda. |

And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.
| 24 Y durmió Joram con sus padres, y fue sepultado con ellos en la ciudad de David; y reinó en lugar suyo Ocozías, su hijo. | 24 Und Joram legte sich zu seinen Vätern und wurde begraben bei seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids. Und sein Sohn Ahasja wurde König an seiner Statt. |

In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign.

Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.
| 26 De veintidós años era Ocozías cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó un año en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre fue Atalía, hija de Omri rey de Israel. | 26 Zweiundzwanzig Jahre alt war Ahasja, als er König wurde; und er regierte ein Jahr zu Jerusalem. And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the LORD, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab.
| 27 Anduvo en el camino de la casa de Acab, e hizo lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, como la casa de Acab; porque era yerno de la casa de Acab. | 27 Und er wandelte auf dem Wege des Hauses Ahab und tat, was dem HERRN mißfiel, wie das Haus Ahab; denn er war verwandt mit dem Hause Ahab. |

And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramoth-gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.
| 28 Y fue a la guerra con Joram hijo de Acab a Ramot de Galaad, contra Hazael rey de Siria; y los sirios hirieron a Joram. | 28 Und er zog mit Joram, dem Sohn Ahabs, in den Kampf um Ramot in Gilead gegen Hasaël, den König von Aram; aber die Aramäer verwundeten Joram. |

And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick. | 29 Y el rey Joram se volvió a Jezreel para curarse de las heridas que los sirios le hicieron frente a Ramot, cuando peleó contra Hazael rey de Siria. Y descendió Ocozías hijo de Joram rey de Judá, a visitar a Joram hijo de Acab en Jezreel, porque estaba enfermo. | 29 Da kehrte der König Joram zurück, um sich in Jesreel von den Wunden heilen zu lassen, die ihm die Aramäer bei Rama geschlagen hatten, als er mit Hasaël, dem König von Aram, kämpfte.
