Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzi-bah.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
| 6 Y pasó a su hijo por fuego, y se dio a observar los tiempos, y fue agorero, e instituyó encantadores y adivinos, multiplicando así el hacer lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, para provocarlo a ira. | 6 Und er ließ seinen Sohn durchs Feuer gehen und achtete auf Vogelgeschrei und Zeichen und hielt Geisterbeschwörer und Zeichendeuter; so tat er viel von dem, was dem HERRN mißfiel, um ihn zu erzürnen. |

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
| 7 Y puso una imagen de Asera que él había hecho, en la casa de la cual Jehová había dicho a David y a Salomón su hijo: Yo pondré mi nombre para siempre en esta casa, y en Jerusalén, a la cual escogí de todas las tribus de Israel; | 7 Er stellte auch das Bild der Aschera, das er gemacht hatte, in das Haus, von dem der HERR zu David und zu seinem Sohn Salomo gesagt hatte: In diesem Hause und in Jerusalem, das ich erwählt habe aus allen Stämmen Israels, will ich meinen Namen wohnen lassen ewiglich, |

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
| 8 y no volveré a hacer que el pie de Israel sea movido de la tierra que di a sus padres, con tal que guarden y hagan conforme a todas las cosas que yo les he mandado, y conforme a toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés les mandó. | 8 und ich will den Fuß Israels nicht mehr weichen lassen von dem Lande, das ich ihren Vätern gegeben habe, sofern sie alles halten und tun, was ich geboten habe, das ganze Gesetz, das mein Knecht Mose ihnen geboten hat. |

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
| 9 Mas ellos no escucharon; y Manasés los indujo a que hiciesen más mal que las naciones que Jehová destruyó delante de los hijos de Israel. | 9 Aber sie gehorchten nicht, sondern Manasse verführte sie, daß sie es ärger trieben als die Heiden, die der HERR vor Israel vertilgt hatte. |

And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
| 10 Habló, pues, Jehová por medio de sus siervos los profetas, | 10 Da redete der HERR durch seine Knechte, die Propheten, und sprach: |

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
| 11 Por cuanto Manasés rey de Judá ha hecho estas abominaciones, y ha hecho más mal que todo lo que hicieron los amorreos que fueron antes de él, y también ha hecho pecar a Judá con sus ídolos; | 11 Weil Manasse, der König von Juda, diese Greuel getan hat, die ärger sind als alle Greuel, die die Amoriter getan haben, die vor ihm gewesen sind, und weil er auch Juda sündigen gemacht hat mit seinen Götzen, |

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
| 12 por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: He aquí yo traigo tal mal sobre Jerusalén y sobre Judá, que al que lo oyere le retińirán ambos oídos. | 12 darum spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Siehe, ich will Unheil über Jerusalem und Juda bringen, so daß dem, der es hören wird, beide Ohren gellen sollen. |

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
| 13 Y extenderé sobre Jerusalén el cordel de Samaria y la plomada de la casa de Acab; y limpiaré a Jerusalén como se limpia un plato, que se friega y se vuelve boca abajo. | 13 Und ich will an Jerusalem die Meßschnur anlegen wie an Samaria und das Lot wie ans Haus Ahab und will Jerusalem auswischen, wie man Schüsseln auswischt, und will's umstürzen. |

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
| 14 Y desampararé el resto de mi heredad, y lo entregaré en manos de sus enemigos; y serán para presa y despojo de todos sus adversarios; | 14 Und wer von meinem Erbteil übrigbleiben wird, den will ich verstoßen und will sie geben in die Hände ihrer Feinde, daß sie Raub und Beute aller ihrer Feinde werden, |

Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
| 15 por cuanto han hecho lo malo ante mis ojos, y me han provocado a ira, desde el día que sus padres salieron de Egipto hasta hoy. | 15 weil sie getan haben, was mir mißfällt, und mich erzürnt haben von dem Tage an, da ihre Väter aus Ägypten gezogen sind, bis auf diesen Tag. |

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
| 16 Fuera de esto, derramó Manasés mucha sangre inocente en gran manera, hasta llenar a Jerusalén de extremo a extremo; además de su pecado con que hizo pecar a Judá, para que hiciese lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová. | 16 Auch vergoß Manasse sehr viel unschuldiges Blut, bis Jerusalem ganz voll davon war - außer der Sünde, durch die er Juda sündigen machte, daß sie taten, was dem HERRN mißfiel. |

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
| 17 Los demás hechos de Manasés, y todo lo que hizo, y el pecado que cometió, żno está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá? | 17 Was aber mehr von Manasse zu sagen ist und alles, was er getan hat, und seine Sünde, die er tat, siehe, das steht geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige von Juda. |

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
| 18 Y durmió Manasés con sus padres, y fue sepultado en el huerto de su casa, en el huerto de Uza, y reinó en su lugar Amón su hijo. | 18 Und Manasse legte sich zu seinen Vätern und wurde begraben im Garten an seinem Hause, im Garten Usas. Und sein Sohn Amon wurde König an seiner Statt. |

Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
| 19 De veintidós ańos era Amón cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó dos ańos en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre fue Mesulemet hija de Haruz, de Jotba. | 19 Zweiundzwanzig Jahre alt war Amon, als er König wurde; und er regierte zwei Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Meschullemet, eine Tochter des Haruz aus Jotba. |

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
| 21 Y anduvo en todos los caminos en que su padre anduvo, y sirvió a los ídolos a los cuales había servido su padre, y los adoró; | 21 und wandelte ganz in dem Wege, den sein Vater gewandelt war, und diente den Götzen, denen sein Vater gedient hatte, und betete sie an |

And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
| 22 y dejó a Jehová el Dios de sus padres, y no anduvo en el camino de Jehová. | 22 und verließ den HERRN, den Gott seiner Väter, und wandelte nicht im Wege des HERRN. |

And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
| 23 Y los siervos de Amón conspiraron contra él, y mataron al rey en su casa. | 23 Und seine Großen machten eine Verschwörung gegen Amon und töteten den König in seinem Hause. |

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
| 24 Entonces el pueblo de la tierra mató a todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey Amón; y puso el pueblo de la tierra por rey en su lugar a Josías su hijo. | 24 Aber das Volk des Landes erschlug alle, die die Verschwörung gegen den König Amon gemacht hatten. Und das Volk des Landes machte seinen Sohn Josia zum König an seiner Statt. |

And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead. | 26 Y fue sepultado en su sepulcro en el huerto de Uza, y reinó en su lugar Josías su hijo. | 26 Und man begrub ihn in seinem Grabe im Garten Usas. Und sein Sohn Josia wurde König an seiner Statt. |
