In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
| 1 En aquellos días Ezequías cayó enfermo de muerte. Y vino a él el profeta Isaías hijo de Amoz, y le dijo: Jehová dice así: Ordena tu casa, porque morirás, y no vivirás. | 1 Zu dieser Zeit wurde Hiskia todkrank. Und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Bestelle dein Haus, denn du wirst sterben und nicht am Leben bleiben. |

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,
| 2 Entonces él volvió su rostro a la pared, | 2 Er aber wandte sein Antlitz zur Wand und betete zum HERRN und sprach: |

I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
| 3 Te ruego, oh Jehová, te ruego que hagas memoria de que he andado delante de ti en verdad y con íntegro corazón, y que he hecho las cosas que te agradan. Y lloró Ezequías con gran lloro. | 3 Ach, HERR, gedenke doch, daß ich vor dir in Treue und mit rechtschaffenem Herzen gewandelt bin und getan habe, was dir wohlgefällt. Und Hiskia weinte sehr. |

And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,
| 4 Y antes que Isaías saliese hasta la mitad del patio, vino palabra de Jehová a Isaías, | 4 Als aber Jesaja noch nicht zum mittleren Hof hinausgegangen war, kam des HERRN Wort zu ihm: |

Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.
| 5 Vuelve, y di a Ezequías, príncipe de mi pueblo: Así dice Jehová, el Dios de David tu padre: Yo he oído tu oración, y he visto tus lágrimas; he aquí que yo te sano; al tercer día subirás a la casa de Jehová. | 5 Kehre um und sage Hiskia, dem Fürsten meines Volks: So spricht der HERR, der Gott deines Vaters David: Ich habe dein Gebet gehört und deine Tränen gesehen. Siehe, ich will dich gesund machen - am dritten Tage wirst du hinauf in das Haus des HERRN gehen -, |

And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
| 6 Y añadiré a tus días quince años, y te libraré a ti y a esta ciudad de mano del rey de Asiria; y ampararé esta ciudad por amor a mí mismo, y por amor a David mi siervo. | 6 und ich will fünfzehn Jahre zu deinem Leben hinzutun und dich und diese Stadt erretten vor dem König von Assyrien und diese Stadt beschirmen um meinetwillen und um meines Knechtes David willen. |

And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
| 7 Y dijo Isaías: Tomad masa de higos. Y tomándola, la pusieron sobre la llaga, y sanó. | 7 Und Jesaja sprach: Bringt her ein Pflaster von Feigen! Und als sie das brachten, legten sie es auf das Geschwür, und er wurde gesund. |

And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?
| 8 Y Ezequías había dicho a Isaías: ¿Qué señal tendré de que Jehová me sanará, y que subiré a la casa de Jehová al tercer día? | 8 Hiskia aber sprach zu Jesaja: Was ist das Zeichen, daß mich der HERR gesund machen wird und ich in des HERRN Haus hinaufgehen werde am dritten Tage? |

And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
| 9 Respondió Isaías: Esta señal tendrás de Jehová, de que hará Jehová esto que ha dicho: ¿Avanzará la sombra diez grados, o retrocederá diez grados? | 9 Jesaja sprach: Dies Zeichen wirst du vom HERRN haben, daß der HERR tun wird, was er zugesagt hat: Soll der Schatten an der Sonnenuhr zehn Striche vorwärts gehen oder zehn Striche zurückgehen? |

And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
| 10 Y Ezequías respondió: Fácil cosa es que la sombra decline diez grados; pero no que la sombra vuelva atrás diez grados. | 10 Hiskia sprach: Es ist leicht, daß der Schatten zehn Striche vorwärts gehe. Das will ich nicht, sondern daß er zehn Striche zurückgehe. |

And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
| 11 Entonces el profeta Isaías clamó a Jehová; e hizo volver la sombra por los grados que había descendido en el reloj de Acaz, diez grados atrás. | 11 Da rief der Prophet Jesaja den HERRN an, und der Herr ließ den Schatten an der Sonnenuhr des Ahas zehn Striche zurückgehen, die er vorwärts gegangen war. (vgl. 2. Chr 32,31; Jes 39) |

At that time Berodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.
| 12 En aquel tiempo Merodac-baladán hijo de Baladán, rey de Babilonia, envió mensajeros con cartas y presentes a Ezequías, porque había oído que Ezequías había caído enfermo. | 12 Zu dieser Zeit sandte Merodach-Baladan, der Sohn Baladans, der König von Babel, Brief und Geschenke an Hiskia; denn er hatte gehört, daß Hiskia krank gewesen war. |

And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
| 13 Y Ezequías los oyó, y les mostró toda la casa de sus tesoros, plata, oro, y especias, y ungüentos preciosos, y la casa de sus armas, y todo lo que había en sus tesoros; ninguna cosa quedó que Ezequías no les mostrase, así en su casa como en todos sus dominios. | 13 Hiskia aber freute sich über die Boten und zeigte ihnen das ganze Schatzhaus, Silber, Gold, Spezerei und das beste Öl und das Zeughaus und alles, was an Schätzen vorhanden war. Es war nichts in seinem Hause und in seiner ganzen Herrschaft, was ihnen Hiskia nicht gezeigt hätte. |

Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.
| 14 Entonces el profeta Isaías vino al rey Ezequías, y le dijo: ¿Qué dijeron aquellos varones, y de dónde vinieron a ti? Y Ezequías le respondió: De lejanas tierras han venido, de Babilonia. | 14 Da kam der Prophet Jesaja zum König Hiskia und sprach zu ihm: Was haben diese Leute gesagt? Und woher sind sie zu dir gekommen? Hiskia sprach: Sie sind aus fernen Landen zu mir gekommen, aus Babel. |

And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
| 15 Y él le volvió a decir: ¿Qué vieron en tu casa? Y Ezequías respondió: Vieron todo lo que había en mi casa; nada quedó en mis tesoros que no les mostrase. | 15 Er sprach: Was haben sie gesehen in deinem Hause? Hiskia sprach: Sie haben alles gesehen, was in meinem Hause ist, und es gibt von meinen Schätzen nichts, was ich ihnen nicht gezeigt hätte. |

And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.
| 1 | 16 Da sprach Jesaja zu Hiskia: Höre des HERRN Wort: |

Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
| 17 He aquí vienen días en que todo lo que está en tu casa, y todo lo que tus padres han atesorado hasta hoy, será llevado a Babilonia, sin quedar nada, dijo Jehová. | 17 Siehe, es kommt die Zeit, daß alles nach Babel weggeführt werden wird, was in deinem Hause ist und was deine Väter gesammelt haben bis auf diesen Tag, und es wird nichts übriggelassen werden, spricht der HERR. a 24,13.14 |

And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
| 18 Y de tus hijos que saldrán de ti, que habrás engendrado, tomarán, y serán eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia. | 18 Dazu werden von den Söhnen, die von dir kommen, die du zeugen wirst, einige genommen werden, daß sie Kämmerer seien im Palast des Königs von Babel. |

Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?
| 19 Entonces Ezequías dijo a Isaías: La palabra de Jehová que has hablado, es buena. Después dijo: Habrá al menos paz y seguridad en mis días. | 19 Hiskia aber sprach zu Jesaja: Das Wort ist gut, das der HERR geredet hat durch dich; denn er dachte: Es wird doch Friede und Sicherheit sein zu meinen Zeiten. |

And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
| 20 Los demás hechos de Ezequías, y todo su poderío, y cómo hizo el estanque y el conducto, y metió las aguas en la ciudad, ¿no está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá? | 20 Was mehr von Hiskia zu sagen ist und alle seine tapferen Taten und wie er den Teich und die Wasserleitung gebaut hat, durch die er Wasser in die Stadt geleitet hat, siehe, das steht geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige von Juda. |

And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead. | 21 Y durmió Ezequías con sus padres, y reinó en su lugar Manasés su hijo. | 21 Und Hiskia legte sich zu seinen Vätern. Und sein Sohn Manasse wurde König an seiner Statt. |
