Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,

And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,
| 3 Y dijo a los levitas que enseñaban a todo Israel, y que estaban dedicados a Jehová: Poned el arca santa en la casa que edificó Salomón hijo de David, rey de Israel, para que no la carguéis más sobre los hombros. Ahora servid a Jehová vuestro Dios, y a su pueblo Israel. | 3 und sprach zu den Leviten, die ganz Israel lehrten und dem HERRN geheiligt waren: Bringt die heilige Lade ins Haus, das Salomo, der Sohn Davids, des Königs von Israel, gebaut hat. Nun sollt ihr sie nicht mehr auf den Schultern tragen. So dient nun dem HERRN, eurem Gott, und seinem Volk Israel |

And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.
| 4 Preparaos según las familias de vuestros padres, por vuestros turnos, como lo ordenaron David rey de Israel y Salomón su hijo. | 4 und seid bereit nach euren Sippen in euren Ordnungen, wie sie aufgeschrieben sind von David, dem König von Israel, und seinem Sohn Salomo, |

And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites.

So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
| 6 Sacrificad luego la pascua; y después de santificaros, preparad a vuestros hermanos para que hagan conforme a la palabra de Jehová dada por medio de Moisés. | 6 und schlachtet das Passa und heiligt euch und bereitet es für eure Brüder, daß sie tun nach dem Wort des HERRN durch Mose. |

And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance.
| 7 Y dio el rey Josías a los del pueblo ovejas, corderos y cabritos de los rebaños, en número de treinta mil, y tres mil bueyes, todo para la pascua, para todos los que se hallaron presentes; esto de la hacienda del rey. | 7 Und Josia gab als Opfergabe für das Volk Lämmer und junge Ziegen - alles zu dem Passa für alle, die sich versammelt hatten - an Zahl dreißigtausend, und dreitausend Rinder, alles von dem Gut des Königs. |

And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.
| 8 También sus príncipes dieron con liberalidad al pueblo y a los sacerdotes y levitas. Hilcías, Zacarías y Jehiel, oficiales de la casa de Dios, dieron a los sacerdotes, para celebrar la pascua, dos mil seiscientas ovejas y trescientos bueyes. | 8 Seine Oberen aber gaben als Opfergabe freiwillig für das Volk und für die Priester und Leviten. Hilkija, Secharja und Jehïl, die Vorsteher im Hause Gottes, gaben den Priestern zum Passa zweitausendsechshundert Lämmer und Ziegen, dazu dreihundert Rinder. |

Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethaneel, his brethren, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave unto the Levites for passover offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.
| 9 Asimismo Conanías, y Semaías y Natanael sus hermanos, y Hasabías, Jeiel y Josabad, jefes de los levitas, dieron a los levitas, para los sacrificios de la pascua, cinco mil ovejas y quinientos bueyes. | 9 Konanja aber und seine Brüder, Schemaja und Netanel, sowie Haschabja, Jeïël und Josabad, die Vorsteher der Leviten, gaben als Opfergabe den Leviten zum Passa fünftausend Lämmer und Ziegen und dazu fünfhundert Rinder. |

So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment.
| 10 Preparado así el servicio, los sacerdotes se colocaron en sus puestos, y asimismo los levitas en sus turnos, conforme al mandamiento del rey. | 10 So wurde der Gottesdienst geordnet. Und die Priester standen an ihren Plätzen und die Leviten in ihren Abteilungen nach dem Gebot des Königs. |

And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them.
| 11 Y sacrificaron la pascua; y esparcían los sacerdotes la sangre recibida de mano de los levitas, y los levitas desollaban las víctimas. | 11 Und sie schlachteten das Passa, und die Priester nahmen das Blut aus der Hand der Leviten und sprengten, und die Leviten zogen die Haut ab. |

And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.
| 12 Tomaron luego del holocausto, para dar conforme a los repartimientos de las familias del pueblo, a fin de que ofreciesen a Jehová según está escrito en el libro de Moisés; y asimismo tomaron de los bueyes. | 12 Und die Brandopfer sonderten sie ab, um sie den Abteilungen der Sippen des Volkes zu geben, damit diese dem HERRN opferten, wie es geschrieben steht im Buch des Mose. So taten sie auch mit den Rindern. |

And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people.
| 13 Y asaron la pascua al fuego conforme a la ordenanza; mas lo que había sido santificado lo cocieron en ollas, en calderos y sartenes, y lo repartieron rápidamente a todo el pueblo. | 13 Und sie kochten das Passa am Feuer, wie sich's gebührt. Aber was geheiligt war, kochten sie in Töpfen, Kesseln und Schüsseln und brachten es schnell allem Volk. |

And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.
| 14 Después prepararon para ellos mismos y para los sacerdotes; porque los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, estuvieron ocupados hasta la noche en el sacrificio de los holocaustos y de las grosuras; por tanto, los levitas prepararon para ellos mismos y para los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón. | 14 Danach aber bereiteten sie auch für sich und für die Priester; denn die Priester, die Söhne Aaron, hatten mit dem Brandopfer und dem Fett bis in die Nacht zu tun; darum mußten die Leviten für sich und für die Priester, die Söhne Aaron, zubereiten. |

And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
| 15 Asimismo los cantores hijos de Asaf estaban en su puesto, conforme al mandamiento de David, de Asaf y de Hemán, y de Jedutún vidente del rey; también los porteros estaban a cada puerta; y no era necesario que se apartasen de su ministerio, porque sus hermanos los levitas preparaban para ellos. | 15 Und die Sänger, die Söhne Asaf, standen an ihren Plätzen nach dem Gebot Davids und Asafs und Hemans und Jedutuns, der Seher des Königs, und die Torhüter an allen Toren, und sie wichen nicht von ihrem Dienst; denn die Leviten, ihre Brüder, bereiteten auch für sie zu. |

So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah.
| 16 Así fue preparado todo el servicio de Jehová en aquel día, para celebrar la pascua y para sacrificar los holocaustos sobre el altar de Jehová, conforme al mandamiento del rey Josías. | 16 So wurde geordnet aller Gottesdienst des HERRN an diesem Tage, um hinfort Passa zu halten und Brandopfer darzubringen auf dem Altar des HERRN nach dem Gebot des Königs Josia. |

And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
| 17 Y los hijos de Israel que estaban allí celebraron la pascua en aquel tiempo, y la fiesta solemne de los panes sin levadura por siete días. | 17 So hielten die Israeliten, die sich versammelt hatten, zu dieser Zeit das Passa und das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sieben Tage lang. |

And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
| 18 Nunca fue celebrada una pascua como esta en Israel desde los días de Samuel el profeta; ni ningún rey de Israel celebró pascua tal como la que celebró el rey Josías, con los sacerdotes y levitas, y todo Judá e Israel, los que se hallaron allí, juntamente con los moradores de Jerusalén. | 18 Man hatte aber kein Passa gehalten in Israel wie dies von der Zeit des Propheten Samuel an, und kein König in Israel hatte das Passa so gehalten, wie Josia Passa hielt, mit den Priestern, Leviten, ganz Juda und allen, die von Israel sich versammelt hatten, und den Einwohnern von Jerusalem. |

In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept.

After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Carchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him.
| 20 Después de todas estas cosas, luego de haber reparado Josías la casa de Jehová, Necao rey de Egipto subió para hacer guerra en Carquemis junto al Eufrates; y salió Josías contra él. | 20 Nachdem aber Josia das Haus des Herrn hergerichtet hatte, zog Necho, der König von Ägypten, herauf, um Krieg zu führen bei Karkemisch am Euphrat. Und Josia zog aus ihm entgegen. |

But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.
| 21 Y Necao le envió mensajeros, diciendo: ¿Qué tengo yo contigo, rey de Judá? Yo no vengo contra ti hoy, sino contra la casa que me hace guerra; y Dios me ha dicho que me apresure. Deja de oponerte a Dios, quien está conmigo, no sea que él te destruya. | 21 Aber Necho sandte Boten zu ihm und ließ ihm sagen: Was hab ich mit dir zu tun, König von Juda? Ich komme jetzt nicht gegen dich, sondern gegen das Königreich, mit dem ich Krieg habe, und Gott hat gesagt, ich soll eilen. Vergreif dich nicht an Gott, der mit mir ist, daß er dich nicht verderbe! |

Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
| 22 Mas Josías no se retiró, sino que se disfrazó para darle batalla, y no atendió a las palabras de Necao, que eran de boca de Dios; y vino a darle batalla en el campo de Meguido. | 22 Aber Josia ließ nicht ab von ihm, sondern schickte sich an, mit ihm zu kämpfen, und hörte nicht auf die Worte Nechos, die Gott zu ihm gesprochen hatte, und kam, mit ihm zu kämpfen in der Ebene von Megiddo. |

And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded.
| 23 Y los flecheros tiraron contra el rey Josías. Entonces dijo el rey a sus siervos: Quitadme de aquí, porque estoy gravemente herido. | 23 Aber die Schützen schossen auf den König Josia, und der König sprach zu seinen Männern: Führt mich fort; denn ich bin schwer verwundet! |

His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was buried in one of the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.
| 24 Entonces sus siervos lo sacaron de aquel carro, y lo pusieron en un segundo carro que tenía, y lo llevaron a Jerusalén, donde murió; y lo sepultaron en los sepulcros de sus padres. Y todo Judá y Jerusalén hicieron duelo por Josías. | 24 Und seine Männer hoben ihn von dem Wagen und brachten ihn auf einen von seinen andern Wagen und führten ihn nach Jerusalem. Und er starb und wurde begraben in den Gräbern seiner Väter. Und ganz Juda und Jerusalem trugen Leid um Josia. |

And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.

Todos los cantores y cantoras recitan esas lamentaciones sobre Josías hasta hoy; y las tomaron por norma para endechar en Israel, las cuales están escritas en el libro de Lamentos. | 25 Und Jeremia sang ein Klagelied über Josia, und alle Sänger und Sängerinnen klagten in ihren Liedern über Josia bis auf diesen Tag, und das wurde zum festen Brauch in Israel. Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his goodness, according to that which was written in the law of the LORD,

And his deeds, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. | 27 y sus hechos, primeros y postreros, he aquí están escritos en el libro de los reyes de Israel y de Judá. | 27 und seine Geschichte, die frühere und die spätere, siehe, das alles steht geschrieben im Buch der Könige von Israel und Juda. |
