Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:

But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.

For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
| 3 Porque él reedificó los lugares altos que Ezequías su padre había derribado, y levantó altares a los baales, e hizo imágenes de Asera, y adoró a todo el ejército de los cielos, y les rindió culto. | 3 Er baute die Opferhöhen wieder auf, die sein Vater Hiskia zerstört hatte, und errichtete den Baalen Altäre und machte Bilder der Aschera und betete das ganze Heer des Himmels an und diente ihnen. |

Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
| 5 Edificó asimismo altares a todo el ejército de los cielos en los dos atrios de la casa de Jehová. | 5 und baute Altäre dem ganzen Heer des Himmels in beiden Vorhöfen am Hause des HERRN. |

And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
| 6 Y pasó sus hijos por fuego en el valle del hijo de Hinom; y observaba los tiempos, miraba en agüeros, era dado a adivinaciones, y consultaba a adivinos y encantadores; se excedió en hacer lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, hasta encender su ira. | 6 Und er ließ seine Söhne durchs Feuer gehen im Tal Ben-Hinnom und achtete auf Zeichen und Vogelgeschrei und trieb Zauberei und bestellte Geisterbeschwörer und Zeichendeuter und tat viel, was dem HERRN mißfiel, um ihn zu erzürnen. |

And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
| 7 Además de esto puso una imagen fundida que hizo, en la casa de Dios, de la cual había dicho Dios a David y a Salomón su hijo: En esta casa y en Jerusalén, la cual yo elegí sobre todas las tribus de Israel, pondré mi nombre para siempre; | 7 Er stellte auch das Bild des Götzen, das er machen ließ, ins Haus Gottes, von dem Gott zu David gesagt hatte und zu seinem Sohn Salomo: In diesem Hause zu Jerusalem, das ich erwählt habe vor allen Stämmen Israels, will ich meinen Namen wohnen lassen ewiglich |

Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
| 8 y nunca más quitaré el pie de Israel de la tierra que yo entregué a vuestros padres, a condición de que guarden y hagan todas las cosas que yo les he mandado, toda la ley, los estatutos y los preceptos, por medio de Moisés. | 8 und will nicht mehr den Fuß Israels weichen lassen von dem Lande, das ich ihren Vätern bestimmt habe, sofern sie halten und alles tun, was ich ihnen durch Mose geboten habe, nach dem ganzen Gesetz, den Geboten und Rechten. |

So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.
| 9 Manasés, pues, hizo extraviarse a Judá y los moradores de Jerusalén, para hacer más mal que las naciones que Jehová destruyó delante de los hijos de Israel. | 9 Aber Manasse verführte Juda und die Einwohner von Jerusalem, daß sie es ärger trieben als die Heiden, die der HERR vor den Israeliten vertilgt hatte. |

And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.
| 10 Y habló Jehová a Manasés y a su pueblo, mas ellos no escucharon; | 10 Und wenn der HERR zu Manasse und seinem Volk reden ließ, merkten sie nicht darauf. |

Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
| 11 por lo cual Jehová trajo contra ellos los generales del ejército del rey de los asirios, los cuales aprisionaron con grillos a Manasés, y atado con cadenas lo llevaron a Babilonia. | 11 Darum ließ der HERR über sie kommen die Obersten des Heeres des Königs von Assur; die nahmen Manasse gefangen mit Fesseln und legten ihn in Ketten und brachten ihn nach Babel. |

And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,
| 12 Mas luego que fue puesto en angustias, oró a Jehová su Dios, humillado grandemente en la presencia del Dios de sus padres. | 12 Und als er in Angst war, flehte er zu dem HERRN, seinem Gott, und demütigte sich vor dem Gott seiner Väter. |

And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.
| 13 Y habiendo orado a él, fue atendido; pues Dios oyó su oración y lo restauró a Jerusalén, a su reino. Entonces reconoció Manasés que Jehová era Dios. | 13 Und als er bat, ließ sich der HERR erbitten und erhörte sein Flehen und brachte ihn wieder nach Jerusalem in sein Königreich. Da erkannte Manasse, daß der HERR Gott ist. |

Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
| 14 Después de esto edificó el muro exterior de la cuidad de David, al occidente de Gihón, en el valle, a la entrada de la puerta del Pescado, y amuralló Ofel, y elevó el muro muy alto; y puso capitanes del ejército en todas las ciudades fortificadas de Judá. | 14 Danach baute er die äußere Mauer an der Stadt Davids westwärts zum Gihon hin im Tal und wo man zum Fischtor hineingeht, und führte sie um den Ofel und machte sie sehr hoch. Und er legte Hauptleute in alle festen Städte Judas. |

And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
| 15 Asimismo quitó los dioses ajenos, y el ídolo de la casa de Jehová, y todos los altares que había edificado en el monte de la casa de Jehová y en Jerusalén, y los echó fuera de la ciudad. | 15 Er entfernte die fremden Götter und den Götzen aus dem Hause des HERRN und alle Altäre, die er gebaut hatte auf dem Berge des Hauses des HERRN und in Jerusalem, und warf sie hinaus vor die Stadt. |

And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.
| 16 Reparó luego el altar de Jehová, y sacrificó sobre él sacrificios de ofrendas de paz y de alabanza; y mandó a Judá que sirviesen a Jehová Dios de Israel. | 16 Und er stellte den Altar des HERRN wieder her und opferte darauf Dankopfer und Lobopfer und befahl Juda, daß sie dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, dienen sollten. |

Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.
| 17 Pero el pueblo aún sacrificaba en los lugares altos, aunque lo hacía para Jehová su Dios. | 17 Aber das Volk opferte noch auf den Höhen, jedoch dem HERRN, ihrem Gott. |

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.
| 18 Los Demás hechos de Manasés, y su oración a su Dios, y las palabras de los videntes que le hablaron en nombre de Jehová el Dios de Israel, he aquí todo está escrito en las actas de los reyes de Israel. | 18 Was aber mehr von Manasse zu sagen ist, und sein Gebet zu seinem Gott und die Reden der Seher, die zu ihm redeten im Namen des HERRN, des Gottes Israels, siehe, das alles steht in den Geschichten der Könige von Israel. |

His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
| 20 Y durmió Manasés con sus padres, y lo sepultaron en su casa; y reinó en su lugar Amón su hijo. | 20 Und Manasse legte sich zu seinen Vätern, und sie begruben ihn in seinem Hause. Und sein Sohn Amon wurde König an seiner Statt. |

Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem.
| 21 De veintidós ańos era Amón cuando comenzó a reinar, y dos ańos reinó en Jerusalén. | 21 Zweiundzwanzig Jahre alt war Amon, als er König wurde; und er regierte zwei Jahre zu Jerusalem |

But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;
| 22 E hizo lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, como había hecho Manasés su padre; porque ofreció sacrificios y sirvió a todos los ídolos que su padre Manasés había hecho. | 22 und tat, was dem HERRN mißfiel, wie sein Vater Manasse getan hatte. Und Amon opferte allen Götzen, die sein Vater Manasse gemacht hatte, und diente ihnen. |

And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
| 23 Pero nunca se humilló delante de Jehová, como se humilló Manasés su padre; antes bien aumentó el pecado. | 23 Aber er demütigte sich nicht vor dem HERRN, wie sich sein Vater Manasse gedemütigt hatte, sondern häufte noch mehr Schuld auf. |

And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.
| 24 Y conspiraron contra él sus siervos, y lo mataron en su casa. | 24 Und seine Großen machten eine Verschwörung gegen ihn und töteten ihn in seinem Hause. |

But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead. | 25 Mas el pueblo de la tierra mató a todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey Amón; y el pueblo de la tierra puso por rey en su lugar a Josías su hijo. | 25 Da erschlug das Volk des Landes alle, die die Verschwörung gegen den König Amon gemacht hatten. Und das Volk des Landes machte seinen Sohn Josia zum König an seiner Statt. |
