And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.

For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.
| 2 Y el rey había tomado consejo con sus príncipes, y con toda la congregación en Jerusalén, para celebrar la pascua en el mes segundo; | 2 Und der König beriet sich mit seinen Oberen und der ganzen Gemeinde in Jerusalem, das Passa erst im zweiten Monat zu halten; |

For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
| 3 porque entonces no la podían celebrar, por cuanto no había suficientes sacerdotes santificados, ni el pueblo se había reunido en Jerusalén. | 3 denn sie konnten's nicht zur rechten Zeit halten, weil sich nicht genug Priester geheiligt hatten und das Volk noch nicht nach Jerusalem zusammengekommen war. |

And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.

So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
| 5 Y determinaron hacer pasar pregón por todo Israel, desde Beerseba hasta Dan, para que viniesen a celebrar la pascua a Jehová Dios de Israel, en Jerusalén; porque en mucho tiempo no la habían celebrado al modo que está escrito. | 5 und so beschlossen sie, durch ganz Israel von Beerscheba an bis nach Dan auszurufen, daß man kommen sollte, dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, Passa zu halten in Jerusalem; denn es war nicht von der ganzen Menge gehalten worden, wie es geschrieben steht. |

So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
| 6 Fueron, pues, correos con cartas de mano del rey y de sus príncipes por todo Israel y Judá, como el rey lo había mandado, y decían: Hijos de Israel, volveos a Jehová el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac y de Israel, y él se volverá al remanente que ha quedado de la mano de los reyes de Asiria. | 6 Und die Läufer gingen hin mit den Briefen von der Hand des Königs und seiner Oberen durch ganz Israel und Juda nach dem Befehl des Königs und sprachen: Ihr Israeliten, kehret um zu dem HERRN, dem Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels, so wird er sich zu den Erretteten kehren, die die Könige von Assur von euch übriggelassen haben; |

And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
| 7 No seáis como vuestros padres y como vuestros hermanos, que se rebelaron contra Jehová el Dios de sus padres, y él los entregó a desolación, como vosotros veis. | 7 und seid nicht wie eure Väter und Brüder, die sich am HERRN, dem Gott ihrer Väter, versündigt haben, so daß er sie in die Verwüstung dahingab, wie ihr selber seht. |

Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
| 8 No endurezcáis, pues, ahora vuestra cerviz como vuestros padres; someteos a Jehová, y venid a su santuario, el cual él ha santificado para siempre; y servid a Jehová vuestro Dios, y el ardor de su ira se apartará de vosotros. | 8 So seid nun nicht halsstarrig wie eure Väter, sondern gebt eure Hand dem HERRN und kommt zu seinem Heiligtum, das er geheiligt hat für alle Zeit, und dienet dem HERRN, eurem Gott, so wird sich sein grimmiger Zorn von euch wenden; |

For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
| 9 Porque si os volviereis a Jehová, vuestros hermanos y vuestros hijos hallarán misericordia delante de los que los tienen cautivos, y volverán a esta tierra; porque Jehová vuestro Dios es clemente y misericordioso, y no apartará de vosotros su rostro, si vosotros os volviereis a él. | 9 denn wenn ihr euch bekehrt zu dem HERRN, so werden eure Brüder und Kinder Barmherzigkeit finden bei denen, die sie gefangen halten, so daß sie in dies Land zurückkehren. Denn der HERR, euer Gott, ist gnädig und barmherzig und wird sein Angesicht nicht von euch wenden, wenn ihr euch zu ihm bekehrt. |

So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
| 10 Pasaron, pues, los correos de ciudad en ciudad por la tierra de Efraín y Manasés, hasta Zabulón; mas se reían y burlaban de ellos. | 10 Und die Läufer gingen von einer Stadt zur andern im Lande Ephraim und Manasse und bis nach Sebulon. Aber die verlachten und verspotteten sie. |

Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
| 11 Con todo eso, algunos hombres de Aser, de Manasés y de Zabulón se humillaron y vinieron a Jerusalén. | 11 Doch einige von Asser und Manasse und Sebulon demütigten sich und kamen nach Jerusalem. |

Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.
| 12 En Judá también estuvo la mano de Dios para darles un solo corazón para cumplir el mensaje del rey y de los príncipes, conforme a la palabra de Jehová. | 12 Auch war Gottes Hand über Juda, daß er ihnen einerlei Sinn gab zu tun, wie der König und die Oberen geboten hatten nach dem Wort des HERRN. |

And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
| 13 Y se reunió en Jerusalén mucha gente para celebrar la fiesta solemne de los panes sin levadura en el mes segundo, una vasta reunión. | 13 Und es kam viel Volk in Jerusalem zusammen, um im zweiten Monat das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote zu halten, eine sehr große Gemeinde. |

And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
| 14 Y levantándose, quitaron los altares que había en Jerusalén; quitaron también todos los altares de incienso, y los echaron al torrente de Cedrón. | 14 Und sie machten sich auf und entfernten die Altäre, die in Jerusalem waren; und alles, was man zum Räuchern braucht, taten sie weg und warfen es hin an den Bach Kidron. |

Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.
| 15 Entonces sacrificaron la pascua, a los catorce días del mes segundo; y los sacerdotes y los levitas llenos de vergüenza se santificaron, y trajeron los holocaustos a la casa de Jehová. | 15 Und sie schlachteten das Passa am vierzehnten Tage des zweiten Monats. Und die Priester und Leviten bekannten ihre Schuld und heiligten sich und brachten die Brandopfer zum Hause des HERRN |

And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.
| 16 Y tomaron su lugar en los turnos de costumbre, conforme a la ley de Moisés varón de Dios; y los sacerdotes esparcían la sangre que recibían de manos de los levitas. | 16 und stellten sich an ihren Platz, wie sich's gebührt nach dem Gesetz des Mose, des Mannes Gottes. Und die Priester nahmen das Blut aus der Hand der Leviten und sprengten es; |

For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
| 17 Porque había muchos en la congregación que no estaban santificados, y por eso los levitas sacrificaban la pascua por todos los que no se habían purificado, para santificarlos a Jehová. | 17 denn es waren viele in der Gemeinde, die sich nicht geheiligt hatten; darum schlachteten die Leviten das Passa für alle, die nicht rein waren, daß sie dem HERRN geheiligt würden. |

For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one
| 18 Porque una gran multitud del pueblo de Efraín y Manasés, y de Isacar y Zabulón, no se habían purificado, y comieron la pascua no conforme a lo que está escrito. Mas Ezequías oró por ellos, diciendo: Jehová, que es bueno, sea propicio a todo aquel que ha preparado su corazón para buscar a Dios, | 18 Denn eine Menge Volk, vor allem von Ephraim, Manasse, Issachar und Sebulon, hatte sich nicht gereinigt und aß das Passa nicht so, wie geschrieben steht. Doch Hiskia betete für sie und sprach: Der HERR, der gütig ist, wolle gnädig sein |

That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.
| 19 a Jehová el Dios de sus padres, aunque no esté purificado según los ritos de purificación del santuario. | 19 allen, die ihr Herz darauf richten, Gott zu suchen, den HERRN, den Gott ihrer Väter, auch wenn sie nicht die für das Heiligtum nötige Reinheit haben. |

And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
| 20 Y oyó Jehová a Ezequías, y sanó al pueblo. | 20 Und der HERR erhörte Hiskia und vergab dem Volk. |

And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD.
| 21 Así los hijos de Israel que estaban en Jerusalén celebraron la fiesta solemne de los panes sin levadura por siete días con grande gozo; y glorificaban a Jehová todos los días los levitas y los sacerdotes, cantando con instrumentos resonantes a Jehová. | 21 So hielten die Israeliten, die in Jerusalem versammelt waren, das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote sieben Tage lang mit großer Freude. Und die Leviten und Priester lobten den HERRN alle Tage mit den mächtigen Saitenspielen des HERRN. |

And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.
| 22 Y habló Ezequías al corazón de todos los levitas que tenían buena inteligencia en el servicio de Jehová. Y comieron de lo sacrificado en la fiesta solemne por siete días, ofreciendo sacrificios de paz, y dando gracias a Jehová el Dios de sus padres. | 22 Und Hiskia redete herzlich zu allen Leviten, die sich gut auf den Dienst des HERRN verstanden hatten. Und sie aßen das Fest über, sieben Tage lang, und opferten Dankopfer und dankten dem HERRN, dem Gott ihrer Väter. |

And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.
| 23 Y toda aquella asamblea determinó que celebrasen la fiesta por otros siete días; y la celebraron otros siete días con alegría. | 23 Und die ganze Gemeinde beschloß, noch weitere sieben Tage zu halten, und sie hielten auch diese sieben Tage mit Freuden. |

For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
| 24 Porque Ezequías rey de Judá había dado a la asamblea mil novillos y siete mil ovejas; y también los príncipes dieron al pueblo mil novillos y diez mil ovejas; y muchos sacerdotes ya se habían santificado. | 24 Denn Hiskia, der König von Juda, spendete für die Gemeinde tausend junge Stiere und siebentausend Schafe. Die Oberen aber spendeten für die Gemeinde tausend junge Stiere und zehntausend Schafe. Auch von den Priestern hatten sich viele geheiligt. |

And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
| 25 Se alegró, pues, toda la congregación de Judá, como también los sacerdotes y levitas, y toda la multitud que había venido de Israel; asimismo los forasteros que habían venido de la tierra de Israel, y los que habitaban en Judá. | 25 Und es freute sich die ganze Gemeinde Judas, die Priester und die Leviten und die ganze Gemeinde, die aus Israel gekommen war, und die Fremdlinge, die aus dem Lande Israel gekommen waren, und die, die in Juda wohnten. |

So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
| 26 Hubo entonces gran regocijo en Jerusalén; porque desde los días de Salomón hijo de David rey de Israel, no había habido cosa semejante en Jerusalén. | 26 Und es war eine große Freude in Jerusalem; denn seit der Zeit Salomos, des Sohnes Davids, des Königs von Israel, war solches in Jerusalem nicht geschehen. |

Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven. | 27 Después los sacerdotes y levitas, puestos en pie, bendijeron al pueblo; y la voz de ellos fue oída, y su oración llegó a la habitación de su santuario, al cielo. | 27 Und die Priester und die Leviten standen auf und segneten das Volk, und ihre Stimme wurde erhört, und ihr Gebet kam in Gottes heilige Wohnung im Himmel. |
