And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.
| 1 En el séptimo ańo se ánimo Joiada, y tomó consigo en alianza a los jefes de centenas Azarías hijo de Jeroham, Ismael hijo de Johanán, Azarías hijo de Obed, Maasías hijo de Adaía, y Elisafat hijo de Zicri, | 1 Aber im siebenten Jahr faßte Jojada Mut und schloß einen Bund mit den Hauptleuten über hundert, nämlich mit Asarja, dem Sohn Jerohams, Jismael, dem Sohn Johanans, Asarja, dem Sohn Obeds, Maaseja, dem Sohn Adajas, und Elischafat, dem Sohn Sichris. |

And they went about in Judah, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the chief of the fathers of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.

And all the congregation made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he said unto them, Behold, the king's son shall reign, as the LORD hath said of the sons of David.
| 3 Y toda la multitud hizo pacto con el rey en la casa de Dios. Y Joiada les dijo: He aquí el hijo del rey, el cual reinará, como Jehová ha dicho respecto a los hijos de David. | 3 Und die ganze Gemeinde schloß einen Bund im Hause Gottes mit dem König. Und Jojada sprach zu ihnen: Siehe, des Königs Sohn soll König sein, wie der HERR den Söhnen David zugesagt hat. |

This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you entering on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be porters of the doors;
| 4 Ahora haced esto: una tercera parte de vosotros, los que entran el día de reposo, estarán de porteros con los sacerdotes y los levitas. | 4 So sollt ihr nun tun: Ein Drittel von euch, den Priestern und Leviten, die am Sabbat ihren Dienst antreten, soll Wache halten an den Toren |

And a third part shall be at the king's house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of the LORD.
| 5 Otra tercera parte, a la casa del rey; y la otra tercera parte, a la puerta del Cimiento; y todo el pueblo estará en los patios de la casa de Jehová. | 5 und ein Drittel im Hause des Königs und ein Drittel am Grundtor; aber alles Volk soll in den Vorhöfen am Hause des HERRN sein. |

But let none come into the house of the LORD, save the priests, and they that minister of the Levites; they shall go in, for they are holy: but all the people shall keep the watch of the LORD.
| 6 Y ninguno entre en la casa de Jehová, sino los sacerdotes y levitas que ministran; éstos entrarán, porque están consagrados; y todo el pueblo hará guardia delante de Jehová. | 6 Und daß niemand in das Haus des HERRN gehe! Nur die Priester und die Leviten, die Dienst tun, die sollen hineingehen, denn sie sind heilig; und alles Volk tue nach dem Gebot des HERRN. |

And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else cometh into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out.
| 7 Y los levitas rodearán al rey por todas partes, y cada uno tendrá sus armas en la mano; cualquiera que entre en la casa, que muera; y estaréis con el rey cuando entre y cuando salga. | 7 Und die Leviten sollen sich rings um den König herumstellen, ein jeder mit seiner Waffe in der Hand. Und wer in das Haus des Herrn geht, der sei des Todes! Und sie sollen um den König sein, wenn er aus- und eingeht. |

So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses.
| 8 Y los levitas y todo Judá lo hicieron todo como lo había mandado el sacerdote Joiada; y tomó cada jefe a los suyos, los que entraban el día de reposo, y los que salían el día de reposo; porque el sacerdote Joiada no dio licencia a las compańías. | 8 Und die Leviten und ganz Juda taten, wie der Priester Jojada geboten hatte, und ein jeder nahm seine Leute, die am Sabbat antraten, samt denen, die am Sabbat abtraten. Denn der Priester Jojada ließ die Abteilungen nicht auseinandergehen. |

Moreover Jehoiada the priest delivered to the captains of hundreds spears, and bucklers, and shields, that had been king David's, which were in the house of God.
| 9 Dio también el sacerdote Joiada a los jefes de centenas las lanzas, los paveses y los escudos que habían sido del rey David, y que estaban en la casa de Dios; | 9 Und der Priester Jojada gab den Hauptleuten über hundert die Spieße und Schilde und Waffen des Königs David, die im Hause Gottes waren, |

And he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.
| 10 y puso en orden a todo el pueblo, teniendo cada uno su espada en la mano, desde el rincón derecho del templo hasta el izquierdo, hacia el altar y la casa, alrededor del rey por todas partes. | 10 und stellte alles Volk auf, einen jeden mit seiner Waffe in der Hand, von der rechten Seite des Hauses im Süden bis zur linken Seite im Norden vor dem Altar und dem Hause um den König herum. |

Then they brought out the king's son, and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save the king.
| 11 Entonces sacaron al hijo del rey, y le pusieron la corona y el testimonio, y lo proclamaron rey; y Joiada y sus hijos lo ungieron, diciendo luego: ˇViva el rey! | 11 Und sie führten den Sohn des Königs heraus und setzten ihm die Krone auf und gaben ihm die Ordnung und machten ihn zum König. Und Jojada und seine Söhne salbten ihn und sprachen: Es lebe der König! |

Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the house of the LORD:
| 12 Cuando Atalía oyó el estruendo de la gente que corría, y de los que aclamaban al rey, vino al pueblo a la casa de Jehová; | 12 Als aber Atalja das Geschrei des Volks hörte, das herzulief und den König umjubelte, ging sie zum Volk in das Haus des HERRN. |

And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason.
| 13 y mirando, vio al rey que estaba junto a su columna a la entrada, y los príncipes y los trompeteros junto al rey, y que todo el pueblo de la tierra mostraba alegría, y sonaba bocinas, y los cantores con instrumentos de música dirigían la alabanza. Entonces Atalía rasgó sus vestidos, y dijo: ˇTraición! ˇTraición! | 13 Und sie sah, und siehe, der König stand an seiner Stätte im Eingang und die Oberen und die Trompeter um den König, und alles Volk des Landes war fröhlich, und man blies die Trompeten, und die Sänger mit allerlei Saitenspiel standen da und gaben das Zeichen zum Jubel. Da zerriß Atalja ihre Kleider und rief: Aufruhr, Aufruhr! |

Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her forth of the ranges: and whoso followeth her, let him be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Slay her not in the house of the LORD.
| 14 Pero el sacerdote Joiada mandó que salieran los jefes de centenas del ejército, y les dijo: Sacadla fuera del recinto, y al que la siguiere, matadlo a filo de espada; porque el sacerdote había mandado que no la matasen en la casa de Jehová. | 14 Aber der Priester Jojada gebot den Hauptleuten über hundert, die über das Heer gesetzt waren: Führt sie zwischen den Reihen hinaus, und wer ihr nachfolgt, den soll man mit dem Schwert töten! Denn der Priester hatte befohlen, man sollte sie nicht töten im Hause des HERRN. |

So they laid hands on her; and when she was come to the entering of the horse gate by the king's house, they slew her there.
| 15 Ellos, pues, le echaron mano, y luego que ella hubo pasado la entrada de la puerta de los caballos de la casa del rey, allí la mataron. | 15 Und sie legten die Hände an sie, und als sie zum Eingang des Roßtors kam am Hause des Königs, töteten sie sie dort. |

And Jehoiada made a covenant between him, and between all the people, and between the king, that they should be the LORD's people.
| 16 Y Joiada hizo un pacto entre sí y todo el pueblo y el rey, que serían pueblo de Jehová. | 16 Und Jojada schloß einen Bund zwischen dem HERRN und dem ganzen Volk und dem König, daß sie des HERRN Volk sein sollten. |

Then all the people went to the house of Baal, and brake it down, and brake his altars and his images in pieces, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
| 17 Después de esto entró todo el pueblo en el templo de Baal, y lo derribaron, y también sus altares; e hicieron pedazos sus imágenes, y mataron delante de los altares a Matán, sacerdote de Baal. | 17 Da ging das ganze Volk in das Haus Baals und brach es ab, und seine Altäre und Bilder zerbrachen sie und töteten Mattan, den Priester Baals, vor den Altären. |

Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David.

And he set the porters at the gates of the house of the LORD, that none which was unclean in any thing should enter in.
| 19 Puso también porteros a las puertas de la casa de Jehová, para que por ninguna vía entrase ningún inmundo. | 19 und er stellte Wachen an die Tore am Hause des HERRN, daß niemand hineinkäme, der sich an irgend etwas unrein gemacht hatte. |

And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of the LORD: and they came through the high gate into the king's house, and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom.
| 20 Llamó después a los jefes de centenas, y a los principales, a los que gobernaban el pueblo y a todo el pueblo de la tierra, para conducir al rey desde la casa de Jehová; y cuando llegaron a la mitad de la puerta mayor de la casa del rey, sentaron al rey sobre el trono del reino. | 20 Und er nahm die Hauptleute über hundert und die Mächtigen und die Herren im Volk und alles Volk des Landes und führte den König vom Hause des HERRN hinab; und sie zogen durch das obere Tor in das Haus des Königs und ließen den König sich auf den königlichen Thron setzen. |

And all the people of the land rejoiced: and the city was quiet, after that they had slain Athaliah with the sword. | 21 Y se regocijó todo el pueblo del país; y la ciudad estuvo tranquila, después que mataron a Atalía a filo de espada. | 21 Und alles Volk des Landes war fröhlich, aber die Stadt blieb still, obwohl Atalja mit dem Schwert erschlagen war. |
