And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.
| 1 Determinó, pues, Salomón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová, y casa para su reino. | 1 Und Salomo gedachte dem Namen des HERRN ein Haus zu bauen und auch ein Haus für sich als König. | | 2
And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.
| 2 Y designó Salomón setenta mil hombres que llevasen cargas, y ochenta mil hombres que cortasen en los montes, y tres mil seiscientos que los vigilasen. | 2 Und Salomo zählte siebzigtausend ab, die Lasten tragen, und achtzigtausend, die im Gebirge Steine hauen sollten, und dreitausendsechshundert Aufseher über sie. | | 3
And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.
| 3 Y envió a decir Salomón a Hiram rey de Tiro: Haz conmigo como hiciste con David mi padre, enviándole cedros para que edificara para sí casa en que morase. | 3 Und Salomo sandte zu Hiram, dem König von Tyrus, und ließ ihm sagen: Wie du mit meinem Vater David tatest und ihm Zedern sandtest, daß er sich ein Haus baute, in dem er wohnte, - | | 4
Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
| 4 He aquí, yo tengo que edificar casa al nombre de Jehová mi Dios, para consagrársela, para quemar incienso aromático delante de él, y para la colocación continua de los panes de la proposición, y para holocaustos a mañana y tarde, en los días de reposo, nuevas lunas, y festividades de Jehová nuestro Dios; lo cual ha de ser perpetuo en Israel. | 4 siehe, ich will dem Namen des HERRN, meines Gottes, ein Haus bauen, das ihm geheiligt werde, um gutes Räucherwerk vor ihm darzubringen und ständig Schaubrote zuzurichten und Brandopfer am Morgen und am Abend, an den Sabbaten und Neumonden und an den Festen des HERRN, unseres Gottes, wie es allezeit für Israel gilt. | | 5
And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
| 5 Y la casa que tengo que edificar, ha de ser grande; porque el Dios nuestro es grande sobre todos los dioses. | 5 Und das Haus, das ich bauen will, soll groß sein; denn unser Gott ist größer als alle Götter. | | 6
But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?
| 6 Mas, ¿quién será capaz de edificarle casa, siendo que los cielos y los cielos de los cielos no pueden contenerlo? ¿Quién, pues, soy yo para que le edifique casa, sino tan sólo para quemar incienso delante de él? | 6 Aber wer vermag es, ihm ein Haus zu bauen? Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.
| 7 Envíame, pues, ahora un hombre hábil que sepa trabajar en oro, en plata, en bronce, en hierro, en púrpura, en grana y en azul, y que sepa esculpir con los maestros que están conmigo en Judá y en Jerusalén, los cuales dispuso mi padre. | 7 So sende mir nun einen tüchtigen Mann, der mit Gold, Silber, Kupfer, Eisen, rotem Purpur, Scharlach und blauem Purpur arbeiten kann und der Bildwerk zu schnitzen versteht zusammen mit den Meistern, die bei mir in Juda und Jerusalem sind und die mein Vater David bestellt hat. | | 8
Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,
| 8 Envíame también madera del Líbano: cedro, ciprés y sándalo; porque yo sé que tus siervos saben cortar madera en el Líbano; y he aquí, mis siervos irán con los tuyos, | 8 Und sende mir Zedern-, Zypressen- und Sandelholz vom Libanon; denn ich weiß, daß deine Leute verstehen, das Holz auf dem Libanon zu hauen. Und siehe, meine Leute sollen mit deinen Leuten sein, | | 9
Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.
| 9 para que me preparen mucha madera, porque la casa que tengo que edificar ha de ser grande y portentosa. | 9 daß man mir viel Holz zubereite; denn das Haus, das ich bauen will, soll groß und prächtig sein. | | 10
And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.
| 10 Y he aquí, para los trabajadores tus siervos, cortadores de madera, he dado veinte mil coros de trigo en grano, veinte mil coros de cebada, veinte mil batos de vino, y veinte mil batos de aceite. | 10 Und siehe, ich will den Holzhauern, deinen Leuten, die das Holz behauen, zweihunderttausend Scheffel Weizen und zweihunderttausend Scheffel Gerste und zwanzigtausend Eimer Wein und zwanzigtausend Eimer Öl zur Speise geben. | | 11
Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.
| 11 Entonces Hiram rey de Tiro respondió por escrito que envió a Salomón: Porque Jehová amó a su pueblo, te ha puesto por rey sobre ellos. | 11 Da antwortete Hiram, der König von Tyrus, in einem Brief und sandte zu Salomo: Da der HERR sein Volk liebt, hat er dich zum König über sie gemacht. | | 12
Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for his kingdom.
| 12 Además decía Hiram: Bendito sea Jehová el Dios de Israel, que hizo los cielos y la tierra, y que dio al rey David un hijo sabio, entendido, cuerdo y prudente, que edifique casa a Jehová, y casa para su reino. | 12 Und Hiram schrieb weiter: Gelobt sei der HERR, der Gott Israels, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat, daß er dem König David einen weisen, klugen und verständigen Sohn gegeben hat, der dem HERRN ein Haus bauen will und auch ein Haus für sich als König! | | 13
And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father's,
| 13 Yo, pues, te he enviado un hombre hábil y entendido, Hiram-abi, | 13 So sende ich nun einen tüchtigen und verständigen Mann, Hiram, meinen Berater; | | 14
The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.
| 14 hijo de una mujer de las hijas de Dan, mas su padre fue de Tiro; el cual sabe trabajar en oro, plata, bronce y hierro, en piedra y en madera, en Púrpura y en azul, en lino y en carmesí; asimismo sabe esculpir toda clase de figuras, y sacar toda forma de diseño que se le pida, con tus hombres peritos, y con los de mi señor David tu padre. | 14 er ist der Sohn einer Frau von den Töchtern Dan, und sein Vater ist ein Tyrer gewesen. Der versteht zu arbeiten mit Gold, Silber, Kupfer, Eisen, Steinen, Holz, rotem und blauem Purpur, feiner Leinwand und Scharlach, und Bildwerk zu schnitzen und alles, was man ihm aufgibt, kunstreich zu machen mit deinen Meistern und mit den Meistern meines Herrn, des Königs David, deines Vaters. | | 15
Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:
| 15 Ahora, pues, envíe mi señor a sus siervos el trigo y cebada, y aceite y vino, que ha dicho; | 15 Mein Herr sende nun seinen Leuten, wie er gesagt hat, Weizen, Gerste, Öl und Wein, | | 16
And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.
| 16 y nosotros cortaremos en el Líbano la madera que necesites, y te la traeremos en balsas por el mar hasta Jope, y tú la harás llevar hasta Jerusalén. | 16 so wollen wir das Holz hauen auf dem Libanon, soviel du bedarfst, und wollen es auf Flößen übers Meer nach Jafo bringen. Von da mußt du es hinauf nach Jerusalem schaffen. | | 17
And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.
| 17 Y contó Salomón todos los hombres extranjeros que había en la tierra de Israel, después de haberlos ya contado David su padre, y fueron hallados ciento cincuenta y tres mil seiscientos. | 17 Und Salomo ließ alle Fremdlinge im Lande Israel zählen, nachdem schon sein Vater David sie gezählt hatte, und es fanden sich 153 600. | | 18
And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work. | 18 Y señaló de ellos setenta mil para llevar cargas, y ochenta mil canteros en la montaña, y tres mil seiscientos por capataces para hacer trabajar al pueblo. | 18 Und er machte von ihnen 70 000 zu Trägern und 80 000 zu Steinhauern im Gebirge und 3600 zu Aufsehern, die die Leute zum Dienst anhielten. |
