And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.
| 1 Josafat rey de Judá volvió en paz a su casa en Jerusalén. | 1 Joschafat aber, der König von Juda, kam wieder heim mit Frieden nach Jerusalem. |

And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
| 2 Y le salió al encuentro el vidente Jehú hijo de Hanani, y dijo al rey Josafat: żAl impío das ayuda, y amas a los que aborrecen a Jehová? Pues ha salido de la presencia de Jehová ira contra ti por esto. | 2 Und es ging ihm der Seher Jehu, der Sohn Hananis, entgegen und sprach zum König Joschafat: Sollst du so dem Gottlosen helfen und die lieben, die den HERRN hassen? Darum kommt über dich der Zorn vom HERRN. |

Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.
| 3 Pero se han hallado en ti buenas cosas, por cuanto has quitado de la tierra las imágenes de Asera, y has dispuesto tu corazón para buscar a Dios. | 3 Etwas Gutes ist aber doch an dir gefunden, daß du die Bilder der Aschera aus dem Lande ausgetilgt und dein Herz darauf gerichtet hast, Gott zu suchen. |

And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.
| 4 Habitó, pues, Josafat en Jerusalén; pero daba vuelta y salía al pueblo, desde Beerseba hasta el monte de Efraín, y los conducía a Jehová el Dios de sus padres. | 4 Und Joschafat blieb in Jerusalem. Und er zog wieder im Volk umher von Beerscheba an bis auf das Gebirge Ephraim und brachte sie zurück zu dem HERRN, dem Gott ihrer Väter. |

And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,
| 5 Y puso jueces en todas las ciudades fortificadas de Judá, por todos los lugares. | 5 Und er bestellte Richter im Lande in allen festen Städten Judas, Stadt für Stadt, |

And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
| 6 Y dijo a los jueces: Mirad lo que hacéis; porque no juzgáis en lugar de hombre, sino en lugar de Jehová, el cual está con vosotros cuando juzgáis. | 6 und sprach zu den Richtern: Seht zu, was ihr tut! Denn ihr haltet Gericht nicht im Namen von Menschen, sondern im Namen des HERRN, und er ist bei euch, wenn ihr Recht sprecht. |

Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
| 7 Sea, pues, con vosotros el temor de Jehová; mirad lo que hacéis, porque con Jehová nuestro Dios no hay injusticia, ni acepción de personas, ni admisión de cohecho. | 7 Darum laßt die Furcht des HERRN bei euch sein, haltet und tut das Recht; denn bei dem HERRN, unserm Gott, ist kein Unrecht, weder Ansehen der Person noch Annehmen von Geschenken. |

Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.
| 8 Puso también Josafat en Jerusalén a algunos de los levitas y sacerdotes, y de los padres de familias de Israel, para el juicio de Jehová y para las causas. Y volvieron a Jerusalén. | 8 Auch bestellte Joschafat in Jerusalem einige aus den Leviten und Priestern und Sippenhäuptern Israels für das Gericht des HERRN und für die Streitfälle der Einwohner Jerusalems. |

And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
| 9 Y les mandó diciendo: Procederéis asimismo con temor de Jehová, con verdad, y con corazón íntegro. | 9 Ihnen gebot er und sprach: Tut also in der Furcht des HERRN, in Treue und mit ganzem Herzen! |

And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
| 10 En cualquier causa que viniere a vosotros de vuestros hermanos que habitan en las ciudades, en causas de sangre, entre ley y precepto, estatutos y decretos, les amonestaréis que no pequen contra Jehová, para que no venga ira sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hermanos. Haciendo así, no pecaréis. | 10 In allen Streitfällen, die vor euch kommen von euren Brüdern, die in ihren Städten wohnen, es gehe um Bluttat, um Gesetz und Gebot, um Satzungen und Rechte, da sollt ihr sie unterrichten, daß sie sich nicht am HERRN verschulden und ein Zorn über euch und eure Brüder komme. Tut also, so werdet ihr euch nicht verschulden. |

And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good. | 11 Y he aquí, el sacerdote Amarías será el que os presida en todo asunto de Jehová, y Zebadías hijo de Ismael, príncipe de la casa de Judá, en todos los negocios del rey; también los levitas serán oficiales en presencia de vosotros. Esforzaos, pues, para hacerlo, y Jehová estará con el bueno. | 11 Siehe, der Hohepriester Amarja ist über euch bestellt in allen Sachen des HERRN, und Sebadja, der Sohn Jismaels, der Vorsteher im Hause Juda, in allen Sachen des Königs; und als Amtleute habt ihr die Leviten bei euch. Geht unverzagt ans Werk, und der HERR wird mit dem Guten sein. |
