Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined affinity with Ahab.
| 1 Tenía, pues, Josafat riquezas y gloria en abundancia; y contrajo parentesco con Acab. | 1 Und Joschafat hatte großen Reichtum und viel Ehre und verschwägerte sich mit Ahab. |

And after certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramoth-gilead.
| 2 Y después de algunos ańos descendió a Samaria para visitar a Acab; por lo que Acab mató muchas ovejas y bueyes para él y para la gente que con él venía, y le persuadió que fuese con él contra Ramot de Galaad. | 2 Und nach einigen Jahren zog er hinab zu Ahab nach Samaria. Und Ahab ließ für ihn und für das Volk, das bei ihm war, viele Schafe und Rinder schlachten. Und er beredete ihn, daß er hinaufzöge nach Ramot in Gilead. |

And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramoth-gilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war.
| 3 Y dijo Acab rey de Israel a Josafat rey de Judá: żQuieres venir conmigo contra Ramot de Galaad? Y él respondió: Yo soy como tú, y mi pueblo como tu pueblo; iremos contigo a la guerra. | 3 Ahab, der König von Israel, sprach zu Joschafat, dem König von Juda: Willst du mit mir nach Ramot in Gilead ziehen? And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
| 4 Además dijo Josafat al rey de Israel: Te ruego que consultes hoy la palabra de Jehová. | 4 Aber Joschafat sprach zum König von Israel: Frage doch zuerst nach dem Wort des HERRN! |

Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king's hand.
| 5 Entonces el rey de Israel reunió a cuatrocientos profetas, y les preguntó: żIremos a la guerra contra Ramot de Galaad, o me estaré quieto? Y ellos dijeron: Sube, porque Dios los entregará en mano del rey. | 5 Und der König von Israel versammelte vierhundert Propheten und sprach zu ihnen: Sollen wir nach Ramot in Gilead in den Kampf ziehen, oder soll ich's lassen? Sie sprachen: Zieh hinauf! Gott wird es in des Königs Hand geben. |

But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?
| 6 Pero Josafat dijo: żHay aún aquí algún profeta de Jehová, para que por medio de él preguntemos? | 6 Joschafat aber sprach: Ist nicht noch irgendein Prophet des HERRN hier, daß wir durch ihn den Herrn befragen? |

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
| 7 El rey de Israel respondió a Josafat: Aún hay aquí un hombre por el cual podemos preguntar a Jehová; mas yo le aborrezco, porque nunca me profetiza cosa buena, sino siempre mal. Este es Micaías hijo de Imla. Y respondió Josafat: No hable así el rey. | 7 Der König von Israel sprach zu Joschafat: Es ist noch ein Mann hier, durch den man den HERRN befragen kann; aber ich bin ihm gram, denn er weissagt über mich nichts Gutes, sondern immer nur Böses, nämlich Micha, der Sohn Jimlas. Joschafat sprach: Der König rede so nicht. |

And the king of Israel called for one of his officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla.
| 8 Entonces el rey de Israel llamó a un oficial, y le dijo: Haz venir luego a Micaías hijo de Imla. | 8 Und der König von Israel rief einen seiner Kämmerer und sprach: Bringe eilends her Micha, den Sohn Jimlas! |

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.
| 9 Y el rey de Israel y Josafat rey de Judá estaban sentados cada uno en su trono, vestidos con sus ropas reales, en la plaza junto a la entrada de la puerta de Samaria, y todos los profetas profetizaban delante de ellos. | 9 Und der König von Israel und Joschafat der König von Juda, saßen ein jeder auf seinem Thron, mit ihren königlichen Kleidern angetan. Sie saßen aber auf dem Platz vor dem Tor von Samaria, und alle Propheten fingen an, vor ihnen zu weissagen. |

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed.
| 10 Y Sedequías hijo de Quenaana se había hecho cuernos de hierro, y decía: Así ha dicho Jehová: Con estos acornearás a los sirios hasta destruirlos por completo. | 10 Und Zedekia, der Sohn Kenaanas, machte sich eiserne Hörner und sprach: So spricht der HERR: Hiermit wirst du die Aramäer niederstoßen, bis du sie aufreibst. |

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth-gilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
| 11 De esta manera profetizaban también todos los profetas, diciendo: Sube contra Ramot de Galaad, y serás prosperado; porque Jehová la entregará en mano del rey. | 11 Und alle Propheten weissagten ebenso und sprachen: Zieh hinauf nach Ramot in Gilead! Es wird dir gelingen, der HERR wird es in des Königs Hand geben. |

And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.
| 12 Y el mensajero que había ido a llamar a Micaías, le habló diciendo: He aquí las palabras de los profetas a una voz anuncian al rey cosas buenas; yo, pues, te ruego que tu palabra sea como la de uno de ellos, que hables bien. | 12 Und der Bote, der hingegangen war, um Micha zu rufen, sprach zu ihm: Siehe, die Worte der Propheten sind einmütig gut für den König. Laß doch auch dein Wort wie ihr Wort sein und rede Gutes. |

And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak.
| 13 Dijo Micaías: Vive Jehová, que lo que mi Dios me dijere, eso hablaré. Y vino al rey. | 13 Micha aber sprach: So wahr der HERR lebt: was mein Gott sagen wird, das will ich reden. |

And when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand.
| 14 y el rey le dijo: Micaías, żiremos a pelear contra Ramot de Galaad, o me estaré quieto? El Respondió: Subid, y seréis prosperados, pues serán entregados en vuestras manos. | 14 Und als er zum König kam, sprach der König zu ihm: Micha, sollen wir nach Ramot in Gilead in den Kampf ziehen, oder soll ich's lassen? Er sprach: Ja, zieht hinauf! Es wird euch gelingen, sie werden in eure Hände gegeben werden. |

And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou say nothing but the truth to me in the name of the LORD?
| 15 El rey le dijo: żHasta cuántas veces te conjuraré por el nombre de Jehová que no me hables sino la verdad? | 15 Aber der König sprach zu ihm: Wie oft soll ich dich beschwören, daß du mir im Namen des HERRN nichts als die Wahrheit sagst! |

Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.
| 16 Entonces Micaías dijo: He visto a todo Israel derramado por los montes como ovejas sin pastor; y dijo Jehová: Estos no tienen seńor; vuélvase cada uno en paz a su casa. | 16 Da sprach er: Ich sah ganz Israel zerstreut auf den Bergen wie Schafe, die keinen Hirten haben. Und der HERR sprach: Diese haben keinen Herrn. Ein jeder kehre wieder heim mit Frieden! - |

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil?
| 17 Y el rey de Israel dijo a Josafat: żNo te había yo dicho que no me profetizaría bien, sino mal? | 17 Da sprach der König von Israel zu Joschafat: Sagte ich dir nicht: Er weissagt nichts Gutes über mich, sondern nur Böses? |

Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
| 18 Entonces él dijo: Oíd, pues, palabra de Jehová: Yo he visto a Jehová sentado en su trono, y todo el ejército de los cielos estaba a su mano derecha y a su izquierda. | 18 Micha aber sprach: Darum höret des HERRN Wort! Ich sah den HERRN sitzen auf seinem Thron, und das ganze himmlische Heer stand zu seiner Rechten und zu seiner Linken. |

And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.
| 19 Y Jehová preguntó: żQuién inducirá a Acab rey de Israel, para que suba y caiga en Ramot de Galaad? Y uno decía así, y otro decía de otra manera. | 19 Und der HERR sprach: Wer will Ahab, den König von Israel, betören, daß er hinaufziehe und falle bei Ramot in Gilead? Und als dieser so und jener anders redete, |

Then there came out a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will entice him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith?
| 20 Entonces salió un espíritu que se puso delante de Jehová y dijo: Yo le induciré. Y Jehová le dijo: żDe qué modo? | 20 trat ein Geist vor und stellte sich vor den HERRN und sprach: Ich will ihn betören. Der HERR aber sprach zu ihm: Womit? |

And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.
| 21 Y él dijo: Saldré y seré espíritu de mentira en la boca de todos sus profetas. Y Jehová dijo: Tú le inducirás, y lo lograrás; anda y hazlo así. | 21 Er sprach: Ich will ausfahren und ein Lügengeist sein in aller seiner Propheten Mund. Und der Herr sprach: Du wirst ihn betören und wirst es ausrichten; fahr hin und tu das! |

Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.
| 22 Y ahora, he aquí Jehová ha puesto espíritu de mentira en la boca de estos tus profetas; pues Jehová ha hablado el mal con contra ti. | 22 Nun siehe, der HERR hat einen Lügengeist in den Mund dieser deiner Propheten gegeben, und der HERR hat Unheil gegen dich geredet. |

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?
| 23 Entonces Sedequías hijo de Quenaana se le acercó y golpeó a Micaías en la mejilla, y dijo: żPor qué camino se fue de mí el Espíritu de Jehová para hablarte a ti? | 23 Da trat herzu Zedekia, der Sohn Kenaanas, und schlug Micha auf die Backe und sprach: Auf welchem Wege sollte der Geist des HERRN von mir gewichen sein, um nun durch dich zu reden? |

And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see on that day when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
| 24 Y Micaías respondió: He aquí tú lo verás aquel día, cuando entres de cámara en cámara para esconderte. | 24 Micha sprach: Wahrlich, an jenem Tage wirst du's sehen, wenn du von einer Kammer in die andere gehst, um dich zu verstecken. |

Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;
| 25 Entonces el rey de Israel dijo: Tomad a Micaías, y llevadlo a Amón gobernador de la ciudad, y a Joás hijo del rey, | 25 Aber der König von Israel sprach: Nehmt Micha und bringt ihn zu Amon, dem Stadthauptmann, und zu Joasch, dem Sohn des Königs, |

And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.
| 26 y decidles: El rey ha dicho así: Poned a éste en la cárcel, y sustentadle con pan de aflicción y agua de angustia, hasta que yo vuelva en paz. | 26 und sagt: So spricht der König: Legt diesen ins Gefängnis und speist ihn nur kärglich mit Brot und Wasser, bis ich wiederkomme mit Frieden! |

And Micaiah said, If thou certainly return in peace, then hath not the LORD spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, all ye people.
| 27 Y Micaías dijo: Si tú volvieres en paz, Jehová no ha hablado por mí. Dijo además: Oíd, pueblos todos. | 27 Micha sprach: Kommst du mit Frieden wieder, so hat der HERR nicht durch mich geredet. Und er sprach: Höret, alle Völker! |

So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth-gilead.
| 28 Subieron, pues, el rey de Israel, y Josafat rey de Judá, a Ramot de Galaad. | 28 So zogen der König von Israel und Joschafat, der König von Juda, hinauf nach Ramot in Gilead. |

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.
| 29 Y dijo el rey de Israel a Josafat: Yo me disfrazaré para entrar en la batalla, pero tú vístete tus ropas reales. Y se disfrazó el rey de Israel, y entró en la batalla. | 29 Und der König von Israel sprach zu Joschafat: Ich will mich verkleiden und in den Kampf ziehen, du aber behalte deine königlichen Kleider an! Und der König von Israel verkleidete sich, und sie zogen in den Kampf. |

Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel.
| 30 Había el rey de Siria mandado a los capitanes de los carros que tenía consigo, diciendo: No peleéis con chico ni con grande, sino sólo con el rey de Israel. | 30 Aber der König von Aram hatte den Obersten über seine Wagen geboten: Ihr sollt nicht kämpfen gegen Geringe und Hohe, sondern allein gegen den König von Israel. |

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.
| 31 Cuando los capitanes de los carros vieron a Josafat, dijeron: Este es el rey de Israel. Y lo rodearon para pelear; mas Josafat clamó, y Jehová lo ayudó, y los apartó Dios de él; | 31 Als nun die Obersten der Wagen Joschafat sahen, dachten sie, es sei der König von Israel, und umringten ihn, um gegen ihn zu kämpfen. Aber Joschafat schrie, und der HERR half ihm, und Gott lockte sie von ihm weg. |

For it came to pass, that, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back again from pursuing him.
| 32 pues viendo los capitanes de los carros que no era el rey de Israel, desistieron de acosarle. | 32 Denn als die Obersten der Wagen merkten, daß er nicht der König von Israel war, wandten sie sich von ihm ab. |

And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
| 33 Mas disparando uno el arco a la ventura, hirió al rey de Israel entre las junturas y el coselete. El entonces dijo al cochero: Vuelve las riendas, y sácame del campo, porque estoy mal herido. | 33 Es spannte aber ein Mann seinen Bogen von ungefähr und schoß den König von Israel zwischen Panzer und Wehrgehänge. Da sprach er zu seinem Wagenlenker: Wende um und führe mich aus dem Kampf; denn ich bin verwundet! |

And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the even: and about the time of the sun going down he died. | 34 Y arreció a batalla aquel día, por lo que estuvo el rey de Israel en pie en el carro enfrente de los sirios hasta la tarde; y murió al ponerse el sol. | 34 Aber der Kampf nahm immer mehr zu an jenem Tage, und der König von Israel blieb in seinem Wagen stehen gegenüber den Aramäern bis zum Abend; und er starb, als die Sonne unterging. |
