Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.
| 1 Dieron aviso a David, diciendo: He aquí que los filisteos combaten a Keila, y roban las eras. | 1 Und es wurde David angesagt: Siehe, die Philister kämpfen gegen Keiëla und berauben die Tennen. |

Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.
| 2 Y David consultó a Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré a atacar a estos filisteos? Y Jehová respondió a David: Ve, ataca a los filisteos, y libra a Keila. | 2 Da befragte David den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich hinziehen und diese Philister schlagen? Und der HERR sprach zu David: Zieh hin, du wirst die Philister schlagen und Keïla erretten! |

And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
| 3 Pero los que estaban con David le dijeron: He aquí que nosotros aquí en Judá estamos con miedo; ¿cuánto más si fuéremos a Keila contra el ejército de los filisteos? | 3 Aber die Männer bei David sprachen zu ihm: Siehe, wir fürchten uns schon hier in Juda und wollen nun hinziehen nach Keïla gegen das Heer der Philister? |

Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
| 4 Entonces David volvió a consultar a Jehová. Y Jehová le respondió y dijo: Levántate, desciende a Keila, pues yo entregaré en tus manos a los filisteos. | 4 Da befragte David wieder den HERRN, und der HERR antwortete ihm: Auf, zieh hin nach Keïla , denn ich will die Philister in deine Hände geben! |

So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
| 5 Fue, pues, David con sus hombres a Keila, y peleó contra los filisteos, se llevó sus ganados, y les causó una gran derrota; y libró David a los de Keila. | 5 So zog David mit seinen Männern nach Keïla und kämpfte gegen die Philister und trieb ihnen ihr Vieh weg und schlug sie hart. So errettete David die Leute von Keiëla. |

And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.
| 6 Y aconteció que cuando Abiatar hijo de Ahimelec huyó siguiendo a David a Keila, descendió con el efod en su mano. | 6 Als aber Abjatar, der Sohn Ahimelechs, zu David geflohen war, zog er mit herab nach Keïla und brachte den Efod mit. |

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.
| 7 Y fue dado aviso a Saúl que David había venido a Keila. Entonces dijo Saúl: Dios lo ha entregado en mi mano, pues se ha encerrado entrando en ciudad con puertas y cerraduras. | 7 Da wurde Saul angesagt, daß David nach Keïla gekommen sei, und Saul dachte: Gott hat ihn in meine Hände gegeben, denn er ist eingeschlossen, nun er in eine Stadt mit Toren und Riegeln gekommen ist. |

And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.
| 8 Y convocó Saúl a todo el pueblo a la batalla para descender a Keila, y poner sitio a David y a sus hombres. | 8 Und Saul ließ das ganze Kriegsvolk aufrufen, zum Kampf hinabzuziehen nach Keïla, damit sie David und seine Männer belagerten. |

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.
| 9 Mas entendiendo David que Saúl ideaba el mal contra él, dijo a Abiatar sacerdote: Trae el efod. | 9 Als aber David merkte, daß Saul Böses gegen ihn im Sinne hatte, sprach er zu dem Priester Abjatar: Bringe den Efod her! |

Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
| 10 Y dijo David: Jehová Dios de Israel, tu siervo tiene entendido que Saúl trata de venir contra Keila, a destruir la ciudad por causa mía. | 10 Und David sprach: HERR, Gott Israels, dein Knecht hat gehört, daß Saul danach trachtet, nach Keïla zu ziehen, um die Stadt zu verderben um meinetwillen. |

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
| 11 ¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila en sus manos? ¿Descenderá Saúl, como ha oído tu siervo? Jehová Dios de Israel, te ruego que lo declares a tu siervo. Y Jehová dijo: Sí, descenderá. | 11 Werden mich die Bürger von Keïla übergeben in seine Hände? Und wird Saul herabkommen, wie dein Knecht gehört hat? Das verkünde, HERR, Gott Israels, deinem Knecht! Und der HERR sprach: Er wird herabkommen. |

Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.
| 12 Dijo luego David: ¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila a mí y a mis hombres en manos de Saúl? Y Jehová respondió: Os entregarán. | 12 David fragte weiter: Werden die Bürger von Keïla mich und meine Männer übergeben in die Hände Sauls? Der HERR sprach: Ja. |

Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth.
| 13 David entonces se levantó con sus hombres, que eran como seiscientos, y salieron de Keila, y anduvieron de un lugar a otro. Y vino a Saúl la nueva de que David se había escapado de Keila, y desistió de salir. | 13 Da machte sich David auf samt seinen Männern, etwa sechshundert, und sie zogen fort von Keïla und streiften da und dort umher. Als nun Saul angesagt wurde, daß David aus Keiëla entronnen war, stand er ab von seinem Zuge. |

And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
| 14 Y David se quedó en el desierto en lugares fuertes, y habitaba en un monte en el desierto de Zif; y lo buscaba Saúl todos los días, pero Dios no lo entregó en sus manos. | 14 David aber blieb in der Wüste, auf den Bergfesten; und zwar blieb er im Gebirge, in der Wüste Sif. Und Saul suchte ihn die ganze Zeit; aber Gott gab ihn nicht in seine Hände. |

And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.
| 15 Viendo, pues, David que Saúl había salido en busca de su vida, se estuvo en Hores, en el desierto de Zif. | 15 Und als David sah, daß Saul ausgezogen war, um ihm nach dem Leben zu trachten, blieb er in der Wüste Sif in Horescha. |

And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.
| 16 Entonces se levantó Jonatán hijo de Saúl y vino a David a Hores, y fortaleció su mano en Dios. | 16 Da machte sich Jonatan, Sauls Sohn, auf und ging hin zu David nach Horescha und stärkte sein Vertrauen auf Gott |

And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.
| 17 Y le dijo: No temas, pues no te hallará la mano de Saúl mi padre, y tú reinarás sobre Israel, y yo seré segundo después de ti; y aun Saúl mi padre así lo sabe. | 17 und sprach zu ihm: Fürchte dich nicht! Sauls, meines Vaters, Hand wird dich nicht erreichen, und du wirst König werden über Israel, und ich werde der Zweite nach dir sein; auch mein Vater weiß das sehr wohl. |

And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
| 18 Y ambos hicieron pacto delante de Jehová; y David se quedó en Hores, y Jonatán se volvió a su casa. | 18 Und sie schlossen beide einen Bund miteinander vor dem HERRN. David blieb in Horescha, aber Jonatan zog wieder heim. |

Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?
| 19 Después subieron los de Zif para decirle a Saúl en Gabaa: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierra en las peñas de Hores, en el collado de Haquila, que está al sur del desierto? | 19 Aber die Sifiter zogen zu Saul hinauf nach Gibea und sprachen: David hält sich bei uns verborgen auf den Bergfesten in Horescha in Gibea-Hachila, das südlich liegt von Jeschimon. |

Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king's hand.
| 20 Por tanto, rey, desciende pronto ahora, conforme a tu deseo, y nosotros lo entregaremos en la mano del rey. | 20 Ist's nun, König, deines Herzens Verlangen hinabzukommen, so komm; wir wollen ihn in des Königs Hände übergeben. |

And Saul said, Blessed be ye of the LORD; for ye have compassion on me.
| 21 Y Saúl dijo: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis tenido compasión de mí. | 21 Da sprach Saul: Gesegnet seid ihr vom HERRN, daß ihr euch meiner erbarmt habt! |

Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is told me that he dealeth very subtilly.
| 22 Id, pues, ahora, aseguraos más, conoced y ved el lugar de su escondite, y quién lo haya visto allí; porque se me ha dicho que él es astuto en gran manera. | 22 So geht nun und gebt weiter acht, daß ihr wißt und seht, an welchem Ort sein Fuß weilt und wer ihn dort gesehen hat; denn man hat mir gesagt, daß er sehr listig ist. |

See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.
| 23 Observad, pues, e informaos de todos los escondrijos donde se oculta, y volved a mí con información segura, y yo iré con vosotros; y si él estuviere en la tierra, yo le buscaré entre todos los millares de Judá. | 23 Beobachtet und erkundet jeden versteckten Ort, wo er sich verkriecht, und kommt wieder zu mir, wenn ihr's gewiß seid, so will ich mit euch ziehen. Ist er im Lande, so will ich ihn aufspüren unter allen Tausendschaften Judas. |

And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.
| 24 Y ellos se levantaron, y se fueron a Zif delante de Saúl.
Pero David y su gente estaban en el desierto de Maón, en el Arabá al sur del desierto. | 24 Da machten sie sich auf und gingen vor Saul her nach Sif. David aber und seine Männer waren in der Wüste Maon, in der Steppe südlich von Jeschimon. |

Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David: wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.
| 25 Y se fue Saúl con su gente a buscarlo; pero fue dado aviso a David, y descendió a la peña, y se quedó en el desierto de Maón. Cuando Saúl oyó esto, siguió a David al desierto de Maón. | 25 Als nun Saul hinzog mit seinen Männern, David zu suchen, wurde es David angesagt. Und er ging zu dem Felsen hinab, der in der Wüste Maon ist. Als das Saul hörte, jagte er David nach in die Wüste Maon. |

And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.
| 26 Y Saúl iba por un lado del monte, y David con sus hombres por el otro lado del monte, y se daba prisa David para escapar de Saúl; mas Saúl y sus hombres habían encerrado a David y a su gente para capturarlos. | 26 Und Saul ging auf der einen Seite eines Berges, David mit seinen Männern auf der andern Seite des Berges. David aber eilte, Saul zu entgehen, während Saul samt seinen Männern David und seine Männer umstellte, um sie zu fangen. |

But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.
| 27 Entonces vino un mensajero a Saúl, diciendo: Ven luego, porque los filisteos han hecho una irrupción en el país. | 27 Aber es kam ein Bote zu Saul und sprach: Komm eilends, denn die Philister sind ins Land eingefallen. |

Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Sela-hammahlekoth.
| 28 Volvió, por tanto, Saúl de perseguir a David, y partió contra los filisteos. Por esta causa pusieron a aquel lugar por nombre Sela-hama-lecot. | 28 Da ließ Saul davon ab, David nachzujagen, und zog hin, den Philistern entgegen. Daher nennt man den Ort Sela-Machlekot*. *d. . vermutlich "Trennungsfelsen". |

And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at En-gedi. | 29 Entonces David subió de allí y habitó en los lugares fuertes de En-gadi. | |
