And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.
| 2 La casa que el rey Salomón edificó a Jehová tenía sesenta codos de largo y veinte de ancho, y treinta codos de alto. | 2 Das Haus aber, das der König Salomo dem HERRN baute, war sechzig Ellen lang, zwanzig Ellen breit und dreißig Ellen hoch. |

And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.

And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.

And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
| 5 Edificó también junto al muro de la casa aposentos alrededor, contra las paredes de la casa alrededor del templo y del lugar santísimo; e hizo cámaras laterales alrededor. | 5 Und er baute einen Umgang an der Wand des Hauses ringsumher, so daß er um die Tempelhalle und um den Chorraum herging und machte Seitengemächer ringsumher. |

The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
| 6 El aposento de abajo era de cinco codos de ancho, el de en medio de seis codos de ancho, y el tercero de siete codos de ancho; porque por fuera había hecho disminuciones a la casa alrededor, para no empotrar las vigas en las paredes de la casa. | 6 Der untere Gang war fünf Ellen weit und der mittlere sechs Ellen weit und der dritte sieben Ellen weit; denn er machte Absätze außen am Hause ringsumher, so daß die Balken nicht in die Wände des Hauses eingriffen. |

And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
| 7 Y cuando se edificó la casa, la fabricaron de piedras que traían ya acabadas, de tal manera que cuando la edificaban, ni martillos ni hachas se oyeron en la casa, ni ningún otro instrumento de hierro. | 7 Und als das Haus gebaut wurde, waren die Steine bereits ganz zugerichtet, so daß man weder Hammer noch Beil noch irgendein eisernes Werkzeug beim Bauen hörte. |

The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.
| 8 La puerta del aposento de en medio estaba al lado derecho de la casa; y se subía por una escalera de caracol al de en medio, y del aposento de en medio al tercero. | 8 Die Tür zum unteren Seitengemach war auf der rechten Seite des Hauses, so daß man durch eine Wendeltreppe hinaufging auf die mittleren Seitengemächer und von den mittleren auf die dritten. |

So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
| 9 Labró, pues, la casa, y la terminó; y la cubrió con artesonados de cedro. | 9 So baute er das Haus und vollendete es. Und er deckte das Haus mit Balken und Tafelwerk von Zedern. |

And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
| 10 Edificó asimismo el aposento alrededor de toda la casa, de altura de cinco codos, el cual se apoyaba en la casa con maderas de cedro. | 10 Und er baute Gänge um das ganze Haus herum, je fünf Ellen hoch, und verband sie mit dem Hause durch Balken von Zedernholz. |

And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
| 11 Y vino palabra de Jehová a Salomón, | 11 Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zu Salomo: |

Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:
| 12 Con relación a esta casa que tú edificas, si anduvieres en mis estatutos e hicieres mis decretos, y guardares todos mis mandamientos andando en ellos, yo cumpliré contigo mi palabra que hablé a David tu padre; | 12 So sei es mit dem Hause, das du baust: Wirst du in meinen Satzungen wandeln und nach meinen Rechten tun und alle meine Gebote halten und in ihnen wandeln, so will ich mein Wort an dir wahrmachen, das ich deinem Vater David gegeben habe, |

And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
| 13 y habitaré en ella en medio de los hijos de Israel, y no dejaré a mi pueblo Israel. | 13 und will wohnen unter Israel und will mein Volk Israel nicht verlassen. |

So Solomon built the house, and finished it.

And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
| 15 Y cubrió las paredes de la casa con tablas de cedro, revistiéndola de madera por dentro, desde el suelo de la casa hasta las vigas de la techumbre; cubrió también el pavimento con madera de ciprés. | 15 Er bedeckte die Wände des Hauses innen mit Brettern von Zedernholz. Vom Boden des Hauses bis an die Decke täfelte er es innen mit Holz, und den Boden des Hauses täfelte er mit Brettern von Zypressenholz. |

And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.
| 16 Asimismo hizo al final de la casa un edificio de veinte codos, de tablas de cedro desde el suelo hasta lo más alto; así hizo en la casa un aposento que es el lugar santísimo. | 16 Und er baute zwanzig Ellen von der Rückseite des Hauses entfernt eine Wand aus zedernen Brettern vom Boden bis an die Decke und baute so im Innern den Chorraum, das Allerheiligste. |

And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.
| 17 La casa, esto es, el templo de adelante, tenía cuarenta codos. | 17 Die Tempelhalle vor dem Chorraum war vierzig Ellen lang. |

And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
| 18 Y la casa estaba cubierta de cedro por dentro, y tenía entalladuras de calabazas silvestres y de botones de flores. Todo era cedro; ninguna piedra se veía. | 18 Innen war das ganze Haus lauter Zedernholz mit gedrehten Knoten und Blumenwerk, so daß man keinen Stein sah. |

And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
| 19 Y adornó el lugar santísimo por dentro en medio de la casa, para poner allí el arca del pacto de Jehová. | 19 Den Chorraum machte er im Innern des Hauses, damit man die Lade des Bundes des HERRN dahin stellte. |

And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.
| 20 El lugar santísimo estaba en la parte de adentro, el cual tenía veinte codos de largo, veinte de ancho, y veinte de altura; y lo cubrió de oro purísimo; asimismo cubrió de oro el altar de cedro. | 20 Und vor dem Chorraum, der zwanzig Ellen lang, zwanzig Ellen breit und zwanzig Ellen hoch war und überzogen mit lauterem Gold, machte er den Altar aus Zedernholz. |

So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
| 21 De manera que Salomón cubrió de oro puro la casa por dentro, y cerró la entrada del santuario con cadenas de oro, y lo cubrió de oro. | 21 Und Salomo überzog das Haus innen mit lauterem Gold und zog goldene Riegel vor dem Chorraum her, den er mit Gold überzogen hatte, |

And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
| 22 Cubrió, pues, de oro toda la casa de arriba abajo, y asimismo cubrió de oro todo el altar que estaba frente al lugar santísimo. | 22 so daß das ganze Haus ganz mit Gold überzogen war. Dazu überzog er auch den ganzen Altar vor dem Chorraum mit Gold. |

And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high.
| 23 Hizo también en el lugar santísimo dos querubines de madera de olivo, cada uno de diez codos de altura. | 23 Er machte im Chorraum zwei Cherubim, zehn Ellen hoch, von Ölbaumholz. |

And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.
| 24 Una ala del querubín tenía cinco codos, y la otra ala del querubín otros cinco codos; así que había diez codos desde la punta de una ala hasta la punta de la otra. | 24 Fünf Ellen hatte ein Flügel eines jeden Cherubs, so daß zehn Ellen waren von dem Ende seines einen Flügels bis zum Ende seines andern Flügels. |

And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.
| 25 Asimismo el otro querubín tenía diez codos; porque ambos querubines eran de un mismo tamaño y de una misma hechura. | 25 So hatte auch der andere Cherub zehn Ellen, und beide Cherubim hatten das gleiche Maß und die gleiche Gestalt. |

The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.
| 26 La altura del uno era de diez codos, y asimismo la del otro. | 26 Auch war jeder Cherub zehn Ellen hoch. |

And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
| 27 Puso estos querubines dentro de la casa en el lugar santísimo, los cuales extendían sus alas, de modo que el ala de uno tocaba una pared, y el ala del otro tocaba la otra pared, y las otras dos alas se tocaban la una a la otra en medio de la casa. | 27 Und er stellte die Cherubim mitten ins Allerheiligste. Und die Cherubim breiteten ihre Flügel aus, so daß der Flügel des einen Cherubs die eine Wand berührte und der Flügel des andern Cherubs die andere Wand berührte. Aber in der Mitte berührte ein Flügel den andern. |

And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
| 28 Y cubrió de oro los querubines. | 28 Und er überzog die Cherubim mit Gold. |

And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.
| 29 Y esculpió todas las paredes de la casa alrededor de diversas figuras, de querubines, de palmeras y de botones de flores, por dentro y por fuera. | 29 An allen Wänden des Allerheiligsten ließ er ringsum Schnitzwerk machen von Cherubim, Palmen und Blumenwerk, innen und außen. |

And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.
| 30 Y cubrió de oro el piso de la casa, por dentro y por fuera. | 30 Auch überzog er innen den Boden mit Goldblech. |

And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.
| 31 A la entrada del santuario hizo puertas de madera de olivo; y el umbral y los postes eran de cinco esquinas. | 31 Und an der Tür des Chorraums machte er zwei Türflügel von Ölbaumholz mit fünfeckigen Pfosten |

The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.
| 32 Las dos puertas eran de madera de olivo; y talló en ellas figuras de querubines, de palmeras y de botones de flores, y las cubrió de oro; cubrió también de oro los querubines y las palmeras. | 32 und ließ Schnitzwerk darauf machen von Cherubim, Palmen und Blumenwerk und überzog sie mit Goldblech. |

So also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.
| 33 Igualmente hizo a la puerta del templo postes cuadrados de madera de olivo. | 33 Ebenso machte er auch an der Tür der Tempelhalle viereckige Pfosten von Ölbaumholz |

And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
| 34 Pero las dos puertas eran de madera de ciprés; y las dos hojas de una puerta giraban, y las otras dos hojas de la otra puerta también giraban. | 34 und zwei Türen von Zypressenholz, so daß jede Tür zwei Flügel hatte, die sich drehten, |

And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.
| 35 Y talló en ellas querubines y palmeras y botones de flores, y las cubrió de oro ajustado a las talladuras. | 35 und machte Schnitzwerk darauf von Cherubim, Palmen und Blumenwerk und überzog es mit Gold, genau wie es eingegraben war. |

And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.

In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:

And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it. | 38 Y en el undécimo año, en el mes de Bul, que es el mes octavo, fue acabada la casa con todas sus dependencias, y con todo lo necesario. La edificó, pues, en siete años. | 38 und im elften Jahr, im Monat Bul, das ist der achte Monat, wurde das Haus vollendet, wie es sein sollte, so daß sie sieben Jahre daran bauten. |
