And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.
| 1 Hiram rey de Tiro envió también sus siervos a Salomón, luego que oyó que lo habían ungido por rey en lugar de su padre; porque Hiram siempre había amado a David. | 1 *So war Salomo Herr über alle Königreiche, vom Euphratstrom bis zum Philisterland und bis an die Grenze Ägyptens; die brachten ihm Geschenke und dienten ihm sein Leben lang. |

And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,

Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
| 3 Tú sabes que mi padre David no pudo edificar casa al nombre de Jehová su Dios, por las guerras que le rodearon, hasta que Jehová puso sus enemigos bajo las plantas de sus pies. | 3 zehn gemästete Rinder und zwanzig Rinder von der Weide und hundert Schafe, ohne die Hirsche und Gazellen und Rehe und das gemästete Federvieh. |

But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
| 4 Ahora Jehová mi Dios me ha dado paz por todas partes; pues ni hay adversarios, ni mal que temer. | 4 Denn er herrschte im ganzen Lande diesseits des Euphrat, von Tifsach bis nach Gaza, über alle Könige diesseits des Euphrat, und hatte Frieden mit allen seinen Nachbarn ringsum, |

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.
| 5 Yo, por tanto, he determinado ahora edificar casa al nombre de Jehová mi Dios, según lo que Jehová habló a David mi padre, diciendo: Tu hijo, a quien yo pondré en lugar tuyo en tu trono, él edificará casa a mi nombre. | 5 so daß Juda und Israel sicher wohnten, jeder unter seinem Weinstock und unter seinem Feigenbaum, von Dan bis Beerscheba, solange Salomo lebte. |

Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.
| 6 Manda, pues, ahora, que me corten cedros del Líbano; y mis siervos estarán con los tuyos, y yo te daré por tus siervos el salario que tú dijeres; porque tú sabes bien que ninguno hay entre nosotros que sepa labrar madera como los sidonios. | 6 Und Salomo hatte viertausend Gespanne für seine Kriegswagen und zwölftausend Leute für die Pferde. |

And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.
| 7 Cuando Hiram oyó las palabras de Salomón, se alegró en gran manera, y dijo: Bendito sea hoy Jehová, que dio hijo sabio a David sobre este pueblo tan grande. | 7 Und die Amtleute versorgten den König Salomo und alles, was zum Tisch des Königs gehörte, jeder in seinem Monat, und ließen es an nichts fehlen. |

And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.
| 8 Y envió Hiram a decir a Salomón: He oído lo que me mandaste a decir; yo haré todo lo que te plazca acerca de la madera de cedro y la madera de ciprés. | 8 Auch Gerste und Stroh für die Pferde brachten sie an den Ort, wo diese waren, jeder nach seiner Ordnung. |

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.
| 9 Mis siervos la llevarán desde el Líbano al mar, y la enviaré en balsas por mar hasta el lugar que tú me seńales, y allí se desatará, y tú la tomarás; y tú cumplirás mi deseo al dar de comer a mi familia. | 9 Und Gott gab Salomo sehr große Weisheit und Verstand und einen Geist, so weit, wie Sand am Ufer des Meeres liegt, |

So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire.
| 10 Dio, pues, Hiram a Salomón madera de cedro y madera de ciprés, toda la que quiso. | 10 daß die Weisheit Salomos größer war als die Weisheit von allen, die im Osten wohnen, und als die Weisheit der Ägypter. |

And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year.
| 11 Y Salomón daba a Hiram veinte mil coros de trigo para el sustento de su familia, y veinte coros de aceite puro; esto daba Salomón a Hiram cada ańo. | 11 Und er war weiser als alle Menschen, auch weiser als Etan, der Esrachiter, Heman, Kalkol und Darda, die Söhne Mahols, und war berühmt unter allen Völkern ringsum. |

And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.
| 12 Jehová, pues, dio a Salomón sabiduría como le había dicho; y hubo paz entre Hiram y Salomón, e hicieron pacto entre ambos. | 12 Und er dichtete dreitausend Sprüche und tausendundfünf Lieder. |

And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men.
| 13 Y el rey Salomón decretó leva en todo Israel, y la leva fue de treinta mil hombres, | 13 Er dichtete von den Bäumen, von der Zeder an auf dem Libanon bis zum Ysop, der aus der Wand wächst. Auch dichtete er von den Tieren des Landes, von Vögeln, vom Gewürm und von Fischen. |

And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home: and Adoniram was over the levy.
| 14 los cuales enviaba al Líbano de diez mil en diez mil, cada mes por turno, viniendo así a estar un mes en el Líbano, y dos meses en sus casas; y Adoniram estaba encargado de aquella leva. | 14 Und aus allen Völkern kam man, zu hören die Weisheit Salomos, und von allen Königen auf Erden, die von seiner Weisheit gehört hatten. |

And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand that bare burdens, and fourscore thousand hewers in the mountains;
| 15 Tenía también Salomón setenta mil que llevaban las cargas, y ochenta mil cortadores en el monte; | 15 Und Hiram, der König von Tyrus, sandte seine Botschafter zu Salomo; denn er hatte gehört, daß sie ihn zum König gesalbt hatten an seines Vaters Statt. Denn Hiram liebte David sein Leben lang. |

Beside the chief of Solomon's officers which were over the work, three thousand and three hundred, which ruled over the people that wrought in the work.
| 16 sin los principales oficiales de Salomón que estaban sobre la obra, tres mil trescientos, los cuales tenían a cargo el pueblo que hacía la obra. | 16 Und Salomo sandte zu Hiram und ließ ihm sagen: |

And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, and hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house.
| 17 Y mandó el rey que trajesen piedras grandes, piedras costosas, para los cimientos de la casa, y piedras labradas. | 17 Du weißt, daß mein Vater David nicht ein Haus bauen konnte dem Namen des HERRN, seines Gottes, um des Krieges willen, der um ihn her war, bis der HERR seine Feinde unter seine Füße gab. |

And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders did hew them, and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house. | 18 Y los albańiles de Salomón y los de Hiram, y los hombres de Gebal, cortaron y prepararon la madera y la cantería para labrar la casa. | 18 Nun aber hat mir der HERR, mein Gott, Ruhe gegeben ringsum, so daß weder ein Widersacher noch ein böses Hindernis mehr da ist. |
