Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,
| 1 Y vino palabra de Jehová a Jehú hijo de Hanani contra Baasa, | 1 Es kam aber das Wort des HERRN zu Jehu, dem Sohn Hananis, gegen Bascha: |

Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;
| 2 Por cuanto yo te levanté del polvo y te puse por príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel, y has andado en el camino de Jeroboam, y has hecho pecar a mi pueblo Israel, provocándome a ira con tus pecados; | 2 Weil ich dich aus dem Staub erhoben habe und zum Fürsten gemacht über mein Volk Israel und du doch wandelst in dem Wege Jerobeams und mein Volk Israel sündigen machst, daß sie mich erzürnen durch ihre Sünde, |

Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
| 3 he aquí yo barreré la posteridad de Baasa, y la posteridad de su casa; y pondré su casa como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat. | 3 siehe, so will ich ausrotten Bascha und sein Haus und will dein Haus machen wie das Haus Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats: |

Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.
| 4 El que de Baasa fuere muerto en la ciudad, lo comerán los perros; y el que de él fuere muerto en el campo, lo comerán las aves del cielo. | 4 Wer vom Hause Baschas stirbt in der Stadt, den sollen die Hunde fressen; und wer von ihm stirbt auf dem Felde, den sollen die Vögel des Himmels fressen. |

Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.
| 6 Y durmió Baasa con sus padres, y fue sepultado en Tirsa, y reinó en su lugar Ela su hijo. | 6 Und Bascha legte sich zu seinen Vätern und wurde begraben zu Tirza. Und sein Sohn Ela wurde König an seiner Statt. - |

And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.
| 7 Pero la palabra de Jehová por el profeta Jehú hijo de Hanani había sido contra Baasa y también contra su casa, con motivo de todo lo malo que hizo ante los ojos de Jehová, provocándole a ira con las obras de sus manos, para que fuese hecha como la casa de Jeroboam; y porque la había destruido. | 7 Auch war das Wort des HERRN durch den Propheten Jehu, den Sohn Hananis, über Bascha gekommen und über sein Haus wegen all des Unrechts, das er vor dem HERRN tat, ihn zu erzürnen durch die Werke seiner Hände, daß es ihm ergehen sollte wie dem Hause Jerobeam, und weil er dieses ausgetilgt hatte. |

In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.
| 8 En el ańo veintiséis de Asa rey de Judá comenzó a reinar Ela hijo de Baasa sobre Israel en Tirsa; y reinó dos ańos. | 8 Im sechsundzwanzigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs von Juda, wurde Ela, der Sohn Baschas, König über Israel und regierte zu Tirza zwei Jahre. |

And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
| 9 Y conspiró contra él su siervo Zimri, comandante de la mitad de los carros. Y estando él en Tirsa, bebiendo y embriagado en casa de Arsa su mayordomo en Tirsa, | 9 Aber sein Knecht Simri, der Oberste über die Hälfte der Kriegswagen, machte eine Verschwörung gegen ihn. Er aber war in Tirza, trank und wurde trunken im Hause Arzas, des Hofmeisters in Tirza. |

And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.
| 10 vino Zimri y lo hirió y lo mató, en el ańo veintisiete de Asa rey de Judá; y reinó en lugar suyo. | 10 Und Simri kam hinein und schlug ihn tot im siebenundzwanzigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs von Juda, und wurde König an seiner Statt. |

And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
| 11 Y luego que llegó a reinar y estuvo sentado en su trono, mató a toda la casa de Baasa, sin dejar en ella varón, ni parientes ni amigos. | 11 Und als er König war und auf seinem Thron saß, erschlug er das ganze Haus Bascha und ließ nichts übrig, was männlich war, dazu seine Verwandten und seine Freunde. |

Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,
| 12 Así exterminó Zimri a toda la casa de Baasa, conforme a la palabra que Jehová había proferido contra Baasa por medio del profeta Jehú, | 12 So vertilgte Simri das ganze Haus Bascha nach dem Wort des HERRN, das er über Bascha geredet hatte durch den Propheten Jehu, |

For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
| 13 por todos los pecados de Baasa y los pecados de Ela su hijo, con los cuales ellos pecaron e hicieron pecar a Israel, provocando a enojo con sus vanidades a Jehová Dios de Israel. | 13 um all der Sünden willen Baschas und seines Sohnes Ela, die sie taten und durch die sie Israel sündigen machten, den HERRN, den Gott Israels, zu erzürnen durch ihre Abgötterei. - |

In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.
| 15 En el ańo veintisiete de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Zimri, y reinó siete días en Tirsa; y el pueblo había acampado contra Gibetón, ciudad de los filisteos. | 15 Im siebenundzwanzigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs von Juda, wurde Simri König und regierte sieben Tage zu Tirza. Und das Volk lag vor Gibbeton, das den Philistern gehörte. |

And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.
| 16 Y el pueblo que estaba en el campamento oyó decir: Zimri ha conspirado, y ha dado muerte al rey. Entonces todo Israel puso aquel mismo día por rey sobre Israel a Omri, general del ejército, en el campo de batalla. | 16 Als aber das Volk im Lager sagen hörte, daß Simri eine Verschwörung gemacht und auch den König erschlagen hätte, da machte ganz Israel am selben Tag im Lager Omri, den Feldhauptmann, zum König über Israel. |

And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
| 17 Y subió Omri de Gibetón, y con él todo Israel, y sitiaron a Tirsa. | 17 Und Omri zog herauf und ganz Israel mit ihm von Gibbeton, und sie belagerten Tirza. |

And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died,

For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.
| 19 por los pecados que había cometido, haciendo lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, y andando en los caminos de Jeroboam, y en su pecado que cometió, haciendo pecar a Israel. | 19 um seiner Sünden willen, die er getan hatte, dadurch daß er tat, was dem HERRN mißfiel, und wandelte in dem Wege Jerobeams und in seiner Sünde, die er tat, daß er Israel sündigen machte. - |

| 20 El resto de los hechos de Zimri, y la conspiración que hizo, żno está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel? | 20 Was aber mehr von Simri zu sagen ist und wie er eine Verschwörung machte, siehe, das steht geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige von Israel. |

Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.
| 21 Entonces el pueblo de Israel fue dividido en dos partes: la mitad del pueblo seguía a Tibni hijo de Ginat para hacerlo rey, y la otra mitad seguía a Omri. | 21 Damals teilte sich das Volk Israel in zwei Teile. Eine Hälfte hing Tibni an, dem Sohn Ginats, und machte ihn zum König, die andere Hälfte aber hing Omri an. |

But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.
| 22 Mas el pueblo que seguía a Omri pudo más que el que seguía a Tibni hijo de Ginat; y Tibni murió, y Omri fue rey. | 22 Aber das Volk, das Omri anhing, wurde stärker als das Volk, das Tibni anhing, dem Sohn Ginats. Und Tibni starb; da wurde Omri König. |

In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.
| 23 En el ańo treinta y uno de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó a reinar Omri sobre Israel, y reinó doce ańos; en Tirsa reinó seis ańos. | 23 Im einunddreißigsten Jahr Asas, des Königs von Juda, wurde Omri König über Israel und regierte zwölf Jahre, und davon zu Tirza sechs Jahre. |

And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.
| 24 Y Omri compró a Semer el monte de Samaria por dos talentos de plata, y edificó en el monte; y llamó el nombre de la ciudad que edificó, Samaria, del nombre de Semer, que fue dueńo de aquel monte. | 24 Er kaufte den Berg Samaria von Schemer für zwei Zentner Silber und baute auf dem Berg eine Stadt und nannte sie Samaria nach dem Namen Schemers, dem der Berg gehört hatte. |

But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.
| 25 Y Omri hizo lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, e hizo peor que todos los que habían reinado antes de él; | 25 Und Omri tat, was dem HERRN mißfiel, und trieb es ärger als alle, die vor ihm gewesen waren, |

For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
| 26 pues anduvo en todos los caminos de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y en el pecado con el cual hizo pecar a Israel, provocando a ira a Jehová Dios de Israel con sus ídolos. | 26 und wandelte in allen Wegen Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, und in seiner Sünde, durch die dieser Israel sündigen machte, daß sie den HERRN, den Gott Israels, erzürnten durch ihre Abgötterei. |

So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.
| 28 Y Omri durmió con sus padres, y fue sepultado en Samaria, y reinó en lugar suyo Acab su hijo. | 28 Und Omri legte sich zu seinen Vätern und wurde begraben zu Samaria. Und sein Sohn Ahab wurde König an seiner Statt. |

And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.

And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.
| 30 Y reinó Acab hijo de Omri sobre Israel en Samaria veintidós ańos. Y Acab hijo de Omri hizo lo malo ante los ojos de Jehová, más que todos los que reinaron antes de él. | 30 und tat, was dem HERRN mißfiel, mehr als alle, die vor ihm gewesen waren. |

And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.
| 31 Porque le fue ligera cosa andar en los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y tomó por mujer a Jezabel, hija de Et-baal rey de los sidonios, y fue y sirvió a Baal, y lo adoró. | 31 Es war noch das Geringste, daß er wandelte in der Sünde Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats; er nahm sogar Isebel, die Tochter Etbaals, des Königs der Sidonier, zur Frau und ging hin und diente Baal und betete ihn an |

And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
| 32 E hizo altar a Baal, en el templo de Baal que él edificó en Samaria. | 32 und richtete ihm einen Altar auf im Tempel Baals, den er ihm zu Samaria baute, |

And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
| 33 Hizo también Acab una imagen de Asera, haciendo así Acab más que todos los reyes de Israel que reinaron antes que él, para provocar la ira de Jehová Dios de Israel. | 33 und machte ein Bild der Aschera, so daß Ahab mehr tat, den HERRN, den Gott Israels, zu erzürnen, als alle Könige von Israel, die vor ihm gewesen waren. |

In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun. | 34 En su tiempo Hiel de Bet-el reedificó a Jericó. A precio de la vida de Abiram su primogénito echó el cimiento, y a precio de la vida de Segub su hijo menor puso sus puertas, conforme a la palabra que Jehová había hablado por Josué hijo de Nun. | 34 Zur selben Zeit baute Hďl von Bethel Jericho wieder auf.
