Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
| 1 Después dijo el rey David a toda la asamblea: Solamente a Salomón mi hijo ha elegido Dios; él es joven y tierno de edad, y la obra grande; porque la casa no es para hombre, sino para Jehová Dios. | 1 Und der König David sprach zu der ganzen Gemeinde: Gott hat Salomo, einen meiner Söhne, erwählt, der noch jung und zart ist. Das Werk aber ist groß; denn es ist nicht die Wohnung eines Menschen, sondern Gottes, des HERRN. |

Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
| 2 Yo con todas mis fuerzas he preparado para la casa de mi Dios, oro para las cosas de oro, plata para las cosas de plata, bronce para las de bronce, hierro para las de hierro, y madera para las de madera; y piedras de ónice, piedras preciosas, piedras negras, piedras de diversos colores, y toda clase de piedras preciosas, y piedras de mármol en abundancia. | 2 Ich aber habe aus allen meinen Kräften herbeigeschafft zum Hause Gottes Gold zu goldenem, Silber zu silbernem, Kupfer zu kupfernem, Eisen zu eisernem, Holz zu hölzernem Gerät, Onyxsteine und eingefaßte Steine, Rubine und bunte Steine und mancherlei Edelsteine und Marmorsteine die Menge. |

Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,

Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:

The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?

Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,
| 6 Entonces los jefes de familia, y los príncipes de las tribus de Israel, jefes de millares y de centenas, con los administradores de la hacienda del rey, ofrecieron voluntariamente. | 6 Da waren die Häupter der Sippen, die Fürsten der Stämme Israels, die Obersten über tausend und über hundert und die Vorsteher über des Königs Besitzungen willig, |

And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
| 10 Asimismo se alegró mucho el rey David, y bendijo a Jehová delante de toda la congregación; y dijo David: Bendito seas tú, oh Jehová, Dios de Israel nuestro padre, desde el siglo y hasta el siglo. | 10 und er lobte den HERRN vor der ganzen Gemeinde und sprach: Gelobt seist du, HERR, Gott Israels, unseres Vaters, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! |

Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
| 11 Tuya es, oh Jehová, la magnificencia y el poder, la gloria, la victoria y el honor; porque todas las cosas que están en los cielos y en la tierra son tuyas. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
| 12 Las riquezas y la gloria proceden de ti, y tú dominas sobre todo; en tu mano está la fuerza y el poder, y en tu mano el hacer grande y el dar poder a todos. | 12 Reichtum und Ehre kommt von dir, du herrschest über alles. In deiner Hand steht Kraft und Macht, in deiner Hand steht es, jedermann groß und stark zu machen. |

Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
| 14 Porque żquién soy yo, y quién es mi pueblo, para que pudiésemos ofrecer voluntariamente cosas semejantes? Pues todo es tuyo, y de lo recibido de tu mano te damos. | 14 Denn was bin ich? For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
| 15 Porque nosotros, extranjeros y advenedizos somos delante de ti, como todos nuestros padres; y nuestros días sobre la tierra, cual sombra que no dura. | 15 Denn wir sind Fremdlinge und Gäste vor dir wie unsere Väter alle. Unser Leben auf Erden ist wie ein Schatten und bleibet nicht. |

O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.
| 16 Oh Jehová Dios nuestro, toda esta abundancia que hemos preparado para edificar casa a tu santo nombre, de tu mano es, y todo es tuyo. | 16 HERR, unser Gott, all dies Viele, das wir herbeigebracht haben, dir ein Haus zu bauen, deinem heiligen Namen, ist von deiner Hand gekommen, es ist alles dein. |

I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
| 17 Yo sé, Dios mío, que tú escudrińas los corazones, y que la rectitud te agrada; por eso yo con rectitud de mi corazón voluntariamente te he ofrecido todo esto, y ahora he visto con alegría que tu pueblo, reunido aquí ahora, ha dado para ti espontáneamente. | 17 Ich weiß, mein Gott, daß du das Herz prüfst, und Aufrichtigkeit ist dir angenehm. Darum habe ich dies alles aus aufrichtigem Herzen freiwillig gegeben und habe jetzt mit Freuden gesehen, wie dein Volk, das hier vor dir steht, dir alles freiwillig gegeben hat. |

O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
| 18 Jehová, Dios de Abraham, de Isaac y de Israel nuestros padres, conserva perpetuamente esta voluntad del corazón de tu pueblo, y encamina su corazón a ti. | 18 HERR, Gott Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels, unserer Väter, bewahre für immer solchen Sinn und solche Gedanken im Herzen deines Volks und richte ihre Herzen auf dich! |

And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
| 19 Asimismo da a mi hijo Salomón corazón perfecto, para que guarde tus mandamientos, tus testimonios y tus estatutos, y para que haga todas las cosas, y te edifique la casa para la cual yo he hecho preparativos. | 19 Und meinem Sohn Salomo gib ein rechtschaffenes Herz, daß er halte deine Gebote, Ordnungen und Rechte und daß er alles ausführe und diese Wohnung baue, die ich vorbereitet habe. |

And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.
| 20 Después dijo David a toda la congregación: Bendecid ahora a Jehová vuestro Dios. Entonces toda la congregación bendijo a Jehová Dios de sus padres, e inclinándose adoraron delante de Jehová y del rey. | 20 Und David sprach zur ganzen Gemeinde: Lobet den HERRN, euren Gott! Und die ganze Gemeinde lobte den HERRN, den Gott ihrer Väter, und sie neigten sich und fielen nieder vor dem HERRN und vor dem König |

And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:
| 21 Y sacrificaron víctimas a Jehová, y ofrecieron a Jehová holocaustos al día siguiente; mil becerros, mil carneros, mil corderos con sus libaciones, y muchos sacrificios de parte de todo Israel. | 21 und opferten dem HERRN Schlachtopfer. Und am andern Morgen opferten sie dem HERRN Brandopfer, tausend junge Stiere, tausend Widder, tausend Lämmer und ihre Trankopfer, sowie Schlachtopfer in Menge für ganz Israel. |

And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
| 22 Y comieron y bebieron delante de Jehová aquel día con gran gozo; y dieron por segunda vez la investidura del reino a Salomón hijo de David, y ante Jehová le ungieron por príncipe, y a Sadoc por sacerdote. | 22 Und sie aßen und tranken am selben Tage vor dem HERRN mit großen Freuden und machten zum zweitenmal Salomo, den Sohn Davids, zum König und salbten ihn dem HERRN zum Fürsten und Zadok zum Priester. |

Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
| 23 Y se sentó Salomón por rey en el trono de Jehová en lugar de David su padre, y fue prosperado; y le obedeció todo Israel. | 23 So setzte sich Salomo auf den Thron des HERRN als König an seines Vaters David Statt und fand Anerkennung. Und ganz Israel wurde ihm gehorsam. |

And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.
| 24 Y todos los príncipes y poderosos, y todos los hijos del rey David, prestaron homenaje al rey Salomón. | 24 Und alle Obersten und Helden, auch alle Söhne des Königs David stellten sich unter den König Salomo. |

And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
| 25 Y Jehová engrandeció en extremo a Salomón a ojos de todo Israel, y le dio tal gloria en su reino, cual ningún rey la tuvo antes de él en Israel. | 25 Und der HERR machte Salomo immer größer vor ganz Israel und gab ihm ein herrliches Königreich, wie es keiner vor ihm über Israel gehabt hatte. |

Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
| 26 Así reinó David hijo de Isaí sobre todo Israel. | 26 So ist nun David, der Sohn Isais, König gewesen über ganz Israel. |

And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
| 27 El tiempo que reinó sobre Israel fue cuarenta ańos. Siete ańos reinó en Hebrón, y treinta y tres reinó en Jerusalén. | 27 Die Zeit aber, die er König über Israel gewesen ist, ist vierzig Jahre. Zu Hebron regierte er sieben Jahre und zu Jerusalem dreiunddreißig Jahre. |

And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.

With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries. | 30 con todo lo relativo a su reinado, y su poder, y los tiempos que pasaron sobre él, y sobre Israel y sobre todos los reinos de aquellas tierras. | 30 dazu auch seine Regierung und seine tapferen Taten sowie die Geschehnisse, die über ihn und Israel und über die Königreiche in allen Landen dahingegangen sind. |
